Abstract

Existence of Microorganism On Rehabilitation Area by Takino Soil Protection Sheet and Capability to Resist Soil Erosion in the Vulcanic Devastated Site in Mt. Batur The goal of this research was to know the existence of microorganism on rehabilitation area of Takino Soil Protection Sheet (TSPS) and capability to resist soil erosion in the vulcanic devastated site of Mt. Batur. This research used total plate count method to obtain mikroorganism colony, soil separating method to obtain mycorrhizal fungi spores, staining root method to find out percentage of mycorrhizal fungi spores on the roots and capability to resist erosion by measuring the soil trapped on the TSPS. The isolation results showed the number of bacteria colonies has been increase as much as 123%, while the number of fungi spores also increase as much as 100% in the area covered by TSPS. The results of trapping mycorrhizal fungi spores on the area covered by TSPS is 63/100g soil, in the area non covered by TSPS is 21/100g soil. The percentage of mychorrizal fungi infection in the plant roots on the area covered by TSPS is 27,5%. The result showed the average capability of TSPS to resist erosion is 5,26 cm over 3 years after implementation of TSPS.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Evaluation of Soil Fertility Status At Agriculture Land in South Of Denpasar District This study aims to evaluate the status of soil fertility in South Denpasar District. The method used in the research is soil sampling survey with started making land unit acquired by overlaying several thematic maps, then conducted some soil sampling individuals for each land unit who then composited. Soil samples have been obtained and analyzed in the laboratory analysis of soil chemical properties include: 1). Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), 2). Base saturation (BS), 3). Soil Organic Matter, 4). Total Soil Phosphorus, 5).Total Soil Potasium. The results analysis of soil fertility status chemical characteristic are then clasified of soil fertility status based on Bogor Soil Research Center Prosedures (1995). The results showed that in South Denpasar District there are two classes of soil fertility status of medium fertility class (S) which includes land unit DS1 (Subak Renon, Intaran, Sidakarya, Wangbiga), DS2 (Subak Suwung), DS3 (Sanur Kauh) while high soil fertility is also found on the land unit DS1 sample DS1d . Two parameters of soil fertility which is the limiting factor is the low chriteria of soil organic matter status and total soil phosporus. Alternative of management land to address both the limiting factors are the addition of organic matters and phosphorus fertilization. Abstract

ABSTRACT Accessibility Design for Handicapped in Mangrove Reserve Recreation Area in Denpasar The research on designing accessibility for handicapped people in an outdoor recreation facility, specifically in mangrove reserve area, was done due to the authors concern in the lack of handicapped friendly public facilities in Indonesia. The choice on a natural setting site of mangrove reserve area is based on two reasons. First is to prove that design and creativity are able to create an accessible outdoor recreation facility for handicapped users. Second, improvements on handicapped facilities can be done without compromising the nature. The handicapped users access to recreation facilities are designed to give the maximum opportunities for users to interact with nature and receive information as well. Some facilities design may require assistance from others in order to make sure safety for handicapped users. Nonetheless, this research has offered ideas and alternatives of outdoor recreation facilities design for handicapped. Keywords: handicapped facilities, design for handicapped

Abstract

Effectiveness composting Trichoderma sp. Against the Plant Growth Chilli (Capsicum annum L.)The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of compost Trichoderma sp. at the time of the nursery and moving the field on red pepper plants. This experiment was conducted February to April 2015, using a factorial randomized complete block design with three replications. The first factor seedling media (MT = Media soil + compost Trichoderma sp. With a volume ratio of 1: 1, MK = Media soil + compost Simantri the ratio of 1: 1, M = Media ground). The second factor in the media field (mt = Media soil + compost Trichoderma sp. With a volume ratio of 1: 1, mk = Media soil + compost Simantri the ratio of 1: 1, m = Media ground). The results showed that: there is interaction between media seedlings with the media on the field, the variables plant height and yield fruit of pepper plants in the field. The best treatment is shown by the media's treatment (MTmk) at high variable pepper is 61.67 cm and the media (MTmt) high were obtained are 60.78 cm. In the fruit of the pepper plant variables highest results in treatment (MTmt) with the amount of 916.67 g but not significantly different from the treatment (MKmt) with the results of 813.33 g.

Abstract

The Influence of Organic, Semi Organic and Anorganic Fertilization on Physical, Chemical soil Characteristic and Rice Yield in Some Munduk in Subak Mambal Rice is a major requirement for the people in Indonesia. The decrease of soil fertility which resulted in optimal rice productivity in paddy fields, due to low fertilizer efficiency. Soil fertility needs to be improved through proper and balanced fertilization. This research aims knowing the effect of organic, semi-organic and anorganic fertilization on some Munduks in Subak Mambal, on physical properties, chemical soil and rice yield.This research used Nested Design. The treatment consists of three types of fertilization are organic fertilization, semi-organic fertilizer and anorganic fertilization. The location treatment consists of four Munduk are Munduk Batuangsut location, Munduk Kedampal location, Munduk Bedugul location and Munduk Semana location.The result of statistical analysis showed that organic fertilizer, semi-organic and anorganic treatments had significant effect (P <0,05) to very real (P <0,01) on all parameters observed except the bulk density and soil pH. The organic fertilizer treatment at the Munduk Batuangsut location gave the highest rice yield average of 8,0 tons ha-1, at the location of Munduk Kedampal gave the highest rice yield average of 7,32 tons ha-1. The semi-organic fertilizer treatment at the location of Munduk Bedugul gave the highest rice yield average of 7,8 tons ha-1 and at the location of Munduk Semana gave the highest average yield of 7,5 tons ha-1.

Abstract

Effectiveness of Some Ginger Extracts (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) against the Pathogen of Phytophthora palmivora Butl. Causes of Cocoa Fruit Rot The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of some ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) extracts to prevent pathogen of Phytophthora palmivora Butl. causes of cocoa fruit rot. In vitro, the concentrations of 0,1%, 0,2%, 0.25%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5% were tested to determine the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) while the extract concentration of 0.25%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, 2.5% were tested to determine the percentage of inhibitability of Phytophtora palmivora Butl. The concentrations of 0.25%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 2.5% were tested in vivo at the Laboratory to determine the effectiveness of extracting ginger rhizomes in controlling fruit rot in cocoa plants. The results of the in vitro test showed that the MIC of Z. officinale var. officinale rhizome extract was 0,25%, while the MIC of Z. officinale var. rubrum rhizome and Z. officinale var. amarum were 0.1%. The concentration of inhibition of Z.officinale var officinale extract, Z.officinale var rubrum extract and Z.officinale var amarum extract are most effective against the growth of colonies of Phytopthora palmivora Butl. was 2.5% with the inhibition were 48,74%, 72,78%, 79,03%. The result of the in vivo test showed that the Z.officinale var amarum extract effectively suppressing the attack of cocoa rot fruit pathogens marked by the decrease of percentage by 80%.

Abstract

Aplication Geographic Informastion System (GIS) for Study of Ground Water Fluctuations and Characteristics of Aquifers in the District of North Denpasar, Denpasar City The use of water in everyday life is very influential on the pattern of water use available. Ground water is water located on rock is layer below the water is surface. The study was conducted in North Denpasar District, Denpasar City from November 2018 to March 2019. The method used is a survey method, purposive sampling method and descriptive quantitative. The results of the study is ground water fluctuations are ??between 0 m - 5 m and 5 m - 10 m. Distribution of the depth of the ground water in the North Denpasar District which varied greatly in the dry season between 4,5 m – 22,1 m and in the rainy season between 5,1 m – 21,6 m. Ground water fluctuations in the study area are ??between 0 m - 5 m and 5 m - 10 m. The direction of ground water flow in North Denpasar District is predicted flowing to west, south west and to south but leaning more to the southwest. Characteristics of aquifers in North Denpasar District is classified as good aquifers with rock constituent material consisting of sand tuff, sandstone and clay sand which can potentially store and drain water.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Efficacy Test of Pantoea agglomerans GTA24 rhizobacteria Formulations in Controling Damping off  Disease Caused By Sclerotium rolfsii on Soybean Plants The experiment aimed to determine the effectiveness of the P. agglomerans GTA24 rhizobacteria formulations in controlling damping off diseases. The experiment was conducted in vitro and in greenhouse test. The experiment was a randomized complete blocks with five replications. The treatment consists of four types of P. agglomerans GTA24 rhizobacteria formulations is pellets formula, powder formula, compost formula, and the gel formula. The results showed that the application of P. agglomerans GTA24 formulations significantly inhibited the fungal growth. P. agglomerans GTA24 showed strong inhibitory activity agains    Sclerotium rolfsii on PDYA medium percentage of inhibitory activity about 96,30%. The lowest disease incidence was attained by the treatment of gel formula, in which only 15,56% of the soybean plants were infected.   Keywords : rhizobacteria formulations, damping off disease, soybean plants

Abstract

The Influence of Processing Time Delay To Rice (Oryza Sativa L.) Seed Quality of Membramo Variety This research was performed with the purpose to obtain tolerance of processing time delay after appropriate crop so it doesn’t affect the physical and physiological quality of rice (Oryza Sativa L.) seed.This experiment used the Complete Random Design (RAL) by using 8 treatments and 3 repetitions. Therefore, there are 24 experiment units. Research result data were tabulated and analyzed mode investigation according to design that was used, and if the treatment has significant influence then it is proceeded with Duncan’s multiple distance test (5%).Observation was carried out to water content variable during the crop (%), water content during the processing (%), water content during the test (%), the viability test/power of germination (%) and electrical conduction power test (? mhos cm-2 g1).Research results shows that the longer processing time delay the more increase clear water content, the lowest water content at the direct harvest processing and the highest at processing time delay at the seventh day. So thus the longer processing time delay the viability processing will decrease. The processing time delay until 2 days after the crop the rice seed viability is more than 80% (above quality standard, ISTA), the next delay the seed viability is already under standard. The electrical conduction power more increase by the longer seed processing time delay.
