The aim of this study is to describe teacher training in tuition center. The method applied in this study is explanatory mixed method by Creswell. Data collection technique used are questionnaire, interview, observation and applied parametric inferential data for numerical data. The research result showed that even though tutors in tuition center are not from educational program, they still have high interest to teach. The existed training system is proven to be effective to teach pedagogical knowledge for tutors with non educational program. Training program for tutors are not systematic yet, therefore there is a huge oportunity and challenge for curriculum developer to create a curriculum for tutors in tuition center that can be use by all tuition center in Indonesia. This study proved that there is an urgent need of curriculum for teacher training program in tuition center and also become a reference to develop the curriculum. This study can be used as a reference for curriculum developer to create curriculum for tutors in tuition center.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze teachers' perceptions of the implementation of E-rapor policies as a form of reporting and documenting learning outcomes, implementation of E-rapor as part of curriculum innovation in aspects of learning outcomes, as well as supporting factors and inhibition of learning curriculum innovation through the implementation of E-rapor in schools. The type of research used is qualitative research case studies. Data retrieval uses interview techniques to dig deeper into the implementation of E-rapor; observations to observe the condition of the school, the level of competence of teachers in using IT, and the infrastructure facilities used in the implementation of E-rapor; and documentation studies to strengthen the data obtained from the interview results. Data validity checks are conducted with data triangulation and source triangulation to compare and re-examine the degree of trust in information obtained through in-depth interviews. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive models based on the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of this study show that: 1) The emergence of various positive and negative perceptions of teachers acting as E-rapor users on E-rapor implementation policies as part of curriculum innovation, 2) Implementation of E-rapor has been developed how to use in accessing E-rapor applications that can not only be accessed through intranet networks in schools but can also be done online at home in processing the learning results of students , 3) Supporting factors and inhibition of learning curriculum innovation through the implementation of E-rapor is fully realized as a determinant of success in its implementation. The implementation of E-rapor conducted online is part of curriculum innovation that plays a very important role in the assessment of students' learning outcomes in schools. With these innovations, documenting the reporting of student learning assessments can be implemented effectively and efficiently resulting in a more accurate, transparent, and accountable report.

Abstract

Schoology is a learning management system that helps in the teaching and learning process at a time when classroom learning is avoided. This study is focused on developing E-learning with Schoology and to find out whether Schoology improves student learning outcomes and listening skills or not. The type of research used is ADDIE from Dick and Carey. Furthermore, the pretest-posttest control group design was used, which was followed by 100 subjects who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Furthermore, the test is used to test learning achievement while exploring listening skills through interviews. Thus, data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. After collecting data by experts, it shows that the developed Schoology media gets a score of 86 which means very good, the material gets a score of 95 which means very good and practitioner gets a score of 98 which means very good. It can be concluded that E-Learning in Schoology is valid. Furthermore, the posttest data shows that there is an increase in the experimental class after receiving treatment through Schoology, it can be seen that the final results of the Mann-Whitney test are 0.00> 0.05 for the experimental class. The implication of this article is that it has a positive impact on curriculum development that is centered on developing interactive and easy-to-implement learning media. The use of Schoology in the learning process is very easy, efficient and interactive to apply in the learning process so that it can improve learning outcomes and listening skills.

Abstract

Implement daily tests at school to find out student capability after learning process on certain materials study. The evaluation model is designed by utilizing technology to achieve expected goals, making it easier to implement and assess daily tests. This research has aimed to (1) analyze students and teachers needs, (2) analyze the design of evaluation model based on ICT, (3) develop an evaluation model that must be applied, (4) assess applicability, (5) evaluating daily tests effectiveness with ICT evaluation model. This research is based on ADDIE research and development model, which covers Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Daily tests so far using paper. Students and teachers need new innovative technology with a username, password, timer, and easy to evaluate. ICT evaluation model has a design with the homepage from WordPress, and then daily tests system use moodle. Based on due diligence from material expert validator, media expert, and practitioner, the ICT evaluation model is feasible to be applied to students. Percentage level validation of small-scale class trials in each aspect is an aspect of the interface, presentation of questions, and advantages with proper assessment results when implemented on a large class scale. Meanwhile, results of large-scale trials in this aspect are feasible if implemented on a larger class scale. Formative evaluation is when the researcher follows up input from the validator. Summative evaluation is carried out after large-scale class trials or activities have ended in their entirety. Evaluation models based on ICT can provide benefits to the education process, especially knowledge about technology for teachers to implement a more varied, flexible, efficient, and effective learning evaluation process that simplifies the assessment process.

Abstract

The preparation of adaptive learning models for children with special needs is important because nowadays there is no policy set out in providing appropriate education services based on their specific needs. The slow learner inclusivity type is currently could be accommodated in regular schools. Therefore, this study aims to develop a model of learning services for slow learners. Using research and development methods, we conducted qualitative analysis for model preparation and quantitative analysis to analyze its effectiveness. The curriculum adaptation service model used is substitution. The results of the trials showed that there was a significant average difference before and after the implementation. Providing learning services with this model can make children better at responding to conversations and working with others, able to do independent activities, and able to control concentration in learning. These results require more operational policy support so that they can be implemented more easily.
