Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy skills of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Serang City through social media-based marketing training. The activity was carried out in December 2025 using participatory training methods and direct mentoring. The activity stages included preparation, training, practice, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluation. The training materials covered digital literacy, digital marketing strategies, social media management, promotional content creation, and the use of business features on digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and skills in utilizing social media as a marketing tool. Participants were able to create business accounts, create promotional content, and implement digital marketing strategies according to the characteristics of their respective businesses. In addition, the mentoring process helped participants implement digital marketing effectively and sustainably. This activity also increased participants' motivation and confidence in developing digital technology-based businesses. Thus, digital literacy training is an effective solution in helping MSMEs adapt to technological developments and increase business competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Civil Servant Performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Serang Regency is an important aspect in supporting the effectiveness of public services. Improving the quality of service, discipline, and employee job satisfaction requires leadership support that is able to adapt to organizational conditions and needs. This study aims to analyze the influence of situational leadership and work discipline on employee performance, both directly and through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The method used is a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The population and sample in this study amounted to 91 Civil Servants at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Serang Regency with a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the help of the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The results of the study indicate that situational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, but does not significantly affect employee performance. Job satisfaction does not significantly affect employee performance and is unable to mediate the relationship between situational leadership and work discipline on employee performance. These findings indicate that improvements in employee performance are predominantly influenced by the implementation of effective situational leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and job satisfaction on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable at the Banten Province Energy and Mineral Resources Office. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was all employees of the Banten Province Energy and Mineral Resources Office, with a sample of 113 respondents determined using probability sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The results showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, but did not have a significant direct effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment was proven to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, organizational commitment was able to significantly mediate the effect of the work environment on employee performance and the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. The research findings confirm that organizational commitment is a strategic variable in improving employee performance by strengthening the influence of the work environment and job satisfaction. Therefore, improving the quality of the work environment, job satisfaction, and strengthening organizational commitment need to be a priority in human resource management to support improving employee performance and organizational effectiveness at the Banten Province Energy and Mineral Resources Service.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the practice of transformational leadership in managing team productivity in digital start-ups in Indonesia. A qualitative approach was employed, using semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and organizational documentation for data collection. Data analysis was conducted using NVivo to identify themes, patterns, and meanings of team interactions and the influence of transformational leadership dimensions on productivity. The results indicate that the four dimensions of transformational leadership Inspirational Motivation, Idealized Influence, Intellectual Stimulation, and Individualized Consideration synergistically enhance motivation, creativity, collaboration, and team performance. Inspirational Motivation fosters shared vision understanding, Idealized Influence builds professional role modeling, Intellectual Stimulation promotes innovation, and Individualized Consideration addresses individual needs. These findings confirm that transformational leadership is an effective strategy for maintaining productivity and innovation in the dynamic environment of digital start-ups. This study provides both theoretical and practical contributions to leadership development and team management in digital organizations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kinerja dosen dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja. Pemahaman terhadap hubungan antarvariabel ini penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen pendidikan dan kualitas layanan akademik di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja dosen dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode penelitian: Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada dosen di beberapa perguruan tinggi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, termasuk pengujian hubungan antarvariabel serta pengaruh mediasi kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian: Temuan menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen. Kepuasan kerja terbukti berperan sebagai mediator yang memperkuat pengaruh kedua variabel tersebut terhadap kinerja. Hal ini menegaskan pentingnya menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung dan meningkatkan motivasi dosen agar kinerja akademik optimal. Kesimpulan: Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kinerja dosen tidak hanya bergantung pada motivasi individu, tetapi juga pada budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja. Perguruan tinggi disarankan untuk merancang strategi pengelolaan SDM yang holistik, dengan fokus pada penguatan budaya positif, pemberian insentif motivasional, dan peningkatan kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

Employee job satisfaction is a crucial factor influencing an organization's effectiveness in achieving its goals. Job satisfaction is influenced by various factors, including work motivation.work environment, And work disciplineThis study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation andwork environment to work disciplineand employee job satisfaction, as well as testing the rolework disciplineas a mediating variable for employees of the Regional Secretariat of Serang Regency. The study used a quantitative method with a descriptive and verification approach. The study population consisted of 95 employees and all were sampled through a saturated sampling technique (census). Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method using SmartPLS 4.0. The results showed that work motivation had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (β = 0.262; p = 0.015) andwork discipline(β = 0.507; p = 0.000).Work environmentalso has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (β = 0.293; p = 0.001) andwork discipline(β = 0.427; p = 0.000). Furthermore,work disciplinehas a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (β = 0.315; p = 0.009). The results of the mediation test show thatwork disciplineable to significantly mediate the influence of work motivation andwork environmenton employee job satisfaction. Therefore, increasing work motivation, creating a conducive work environment, and strengthening work discipline are effective strategies for improving employee job satisfaction at the Serang Regency Regional Secretariat.
