Abstract

Heuristic data requires appropriate clustering methods to avoid casting doubt on the information generated by the grouping process. Determining an optimal cluster choice from the results of grouping is still challenging. This study aimed to analyze the four numerical measurement formulas in light of the data patterns from categorical that are now accessible to give users of heuristic data recommendations for how to derive knowledge or information from the best clusters. The method used was clustering with four measurements: Euclidean, Canberra, Manhattan, and Dynamic Time Warping and Elbow approach for optimizing. The Elbow with Sum Square Error (SSE) is employed to calculate the optimal cluster. The number of test clusters ranges from k = 2 to k = 10. Student data from social media was used in testing to help students achieve higher GPAs. 300 completed questionnaires that were circulated and used to collect the data. The result of this study showed that the Manhattan Distance is the best numerical measurement with the largest SSE of 45.359 and optimal clustering at k = 5. The optimal cluster Manhattan generated was made up of students with GPAs above 3.00 and websites/ vlogs used as learning tools by the mathematics and computer department. Each cluster’s ability to create information can be impacted by the proximity of qualities caused by variations in the number of clusters.

Abstract

Berita merupakan media informasi utama di dunia. Beragamnya berita yang disajikan oleh media digital saat ini, mencakup berbagai aspek seperti olahraga, hiburan, politik, kesehatan, keuangan, teknologi, dan lain-lain. Dengan beragamnya berita, maka diperlukan pengelompokan berita tersebut, demi memudahkan masyarakat dalam mendapatkan informasi yang diinginkan. Naïve Bayes merupakan metode klasifikasi yang sering digunakan dalam kasus pengelompokan. Naïve Bayes adalah metode klasifikasi dengan melakukan preprocessing pada judul berita,kemudian menghitung probabilitas setiap kelasnya. Kelas yang dipakai dalam metode ini adalah kategori berita. Kategori berita meliputi, Olahraga, Hiburan, Kesehatan, Politik, dan Teknologi.Dari 500 data latih yang dijadikan acuan untuk menghitung probabilitas, setelah data uji dimasukkan maka akan dihitung probabilitas setiap kata yang digunakan dan akan menghasilkan suatu kategori, dari 50 data yang diuji sebanyak 43 dokumen yang berhasil sesuai dengan kategori yang tepat yaitu sebesar 86% dan sebanyak 7 dokumen dengan kesalahan kategori sebesar 14%.Kata kunci : Berita, Klasifikasi, Naïve Bayes, Probabilitas

Abstract

Collaborative Learning requires teachers and students to maintain an engaging learning environment at all times. Problems emerge when teachers, notably high school teachers in Pekanbaru, employ learning material that do not support this. Teachers' creativity is pushed to constantly update how they present materials and evaluate students' knowledge in order to foster a collaborative and pleasurable learning environment. This community service project will help Pekanbaru high school instructors create collaborative and real-time learning tools. The Community Service Team employed an observation strategy to get a sense of learning at Santa Maria High School, which served as an example school. The proposed solution is technologically based, making use of the Padlet application. The Community Service Team offers training methods on smartphones and computers to help people grasp Padlet. The community effort resulted in a polished Padlet that teachers may use to study with students at any time. It is intended that studying using the Padlet application would boost teacher innovation and student learning results at Santa Maria High School, as well as high schools around Pekanbaru.Keywords: Teacher; padlet; collaborative learning; learners;SMA. Abstrak: Pembelajaran Kolaboratif (Collaborative Learning) mengarahkan guru dan peserta didik dalam suasana belajar yang interaktif setiap saat. Permasalahan muncul pada saat media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru tidak mendukung hal tersebut, termasuk guru-guru Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Pekanbaru. Kreativitas guru ditantang untuk selalu memperbaharui cara penyampaian materi, cara mengevaluasi pemahaman peserta didik hingga penilaian, demi terciptanya suasana belajar yang kolaboratif dan menyenangkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru SMA di Pekanbaru dalam mempersiapkan bahan pembelajaran yang kolaboratif dan real time. Tim Pengabdian melakukan metode observasi untuk mendapatkan gambaran pembelajaran melalui SMA Santa Maria yang dijadikan sebagai sekolah sampel. Abstract

This program is designed to provide hands-on training, resources, and long-term support to individuals and families, especially women and youth, in rural areas. By equipping participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for successful goat rearing, the program not only creates opportunities for additional income but also strengthens food resilience and self-sufficiency at the grassroots level. This community service program employs a participatory and sustainable development approach to implement goat farming as a tool for empowerment and livelihood improvement. The methodology consists of five main phases: community assessment, participant selection, training and capacity-building, implementation, and monitoring & evaluation. The Micro-Livestock and Macro-Impact program demonstrated that small-scale goat farming can serve as a powerful tool for community empowerment, particularly in rural areas with limited income sources. Through training, resource provision, and cooperative support, participants significantly improved their knowledge, increased their household income, and began to experience the benefits of sustainable livestock management. The success of this program highlights the potential of micro-livestock farming to serve as a replicable and scalable model for rural development. It shows that even small agricultural interventions, when paired with training and community engagement, can lead to measurable improvements in food security, income generation, and social empowerment.

Abstract

Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs (DITCS) of Riau has an important role in supporting 631,347 groups of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in various fields such as handicrafts, batik, songket, and food and beverages. Many MSME merchants still market their products traditionally through the neighborhood and word of mouth, while online marketing faces a big challenge because they have to compete with well-known brands, making them difficult to develop and grow their business. To overcome these problems, an Android-based application “LaKu” was developed that aims to help MSME merchants in expanding their marketing reach and increasing their competitiveness in Riau. The development of this application uses the Extreme Programming (XP) method which consists of four main steps: Planning, Design, Code, and Testing. The development results show that the “LaKu” application can be an effective digital marketing platform, helping MSMEs in promoting products more widely without having to compete directly with big brands. With this application, MSMEs are able to increase competitiveness and contribute to local economic growth in Riau Province.

Abstract

Sistem pakar adalah sistem yang dirancang untuk memasukkan pengetahuan manusia ke dalam komputer untuk memodelkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah seperti seorang pakar. Salah satu penerapan sistem pakar kesehatan adalah diagnosis penyakit. Pada aplikasi ini dirancang sistem untuk mendiagnosa penyakit hepatitis dengan menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes. Metode Naive Bayes merupakan perhitungan kepastian dari kesimpulan yang ditarik dan dihitung berdasarkan nilai probabilitas penyakit yang diakibatkan dari gejala-gejala tersebut. Salah satu penyebab hepatitis semakin parah karena Kurangnya inisiatif untuk memeriksakan diri ke dokter saat diketahui gejalanya. Hepatitis adalah proses peradangan pada jaringan hati, yang merupakan salah satu penyakit menular. Perancangan aplikasi ini menerapkan pemodelan UML dengan menerapkan bahasa pemrograman Java dan PHP. Tahapan Diagnosis pada sistem pakar ini diawali dengan sesi konsultasi, dimana sistem mengajukan pertanyaan kepada pengguna mengenai gejala yang sesuai dengan gejala penyakit berdasarkan pakar dan mengolahnya dengan perhitungan Naïve Bayes. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa penyakit hepatitis, hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dengan akurasi diagnosis yang diperoleh dengan membandingkan sistem diagnosa hasil pakar 93,3%.

Abstract

Employee assessment in a company is one of the tricks used to improve employee performance, so that it can be profitable for the company. One of the methods used to determine the best employees is to use a decision support system (DSS). By using DSS, decision making becomes faster, more accurate, efficient and effective. This study was used to determine the best sales at PT Surya Asia Abadi. By combining the Rank Order Centriod (ROC) Algorithm and Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) in the DSS, it can produce a better level of prediction accuracy and decision making based on the processed data. Where in this study using 6 (six) variables and 7 (seven) alternatives. The ROC algorithm is used to find the weight of each variable, and the weight obtained from the ROC is then processed using the ARAS algorithm to obtain alternative rankings. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for the Company to determine the best employees with more accurate results. The research results showed that the highest ranking was achieved by alternative AL3 with a value of 0.884 and the lowest was obtained by alternative AL1 with a value of 0.684.
