Abstract

Precision agriculture is an innovative approach that is increasingly being applied in the United States to increase agricultural productivity through the use of cutting-edge technology. The background of this research focuses on the importance of adopting modern technologies, such as drones and big data, in addressing global challenges such as climate change, resource limitations, and increasing food needs. The purpose of this study is to explore how the integration of drone technology and big data can revolutionize the agricultural sector in the United States, specifically in improving efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing crop yields. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to several agricultural companies that have adopted drone technology and big data. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with farmers, document analysis, and field observations regarding the implementation of the technology. The data collected was then analyzed using thematic analysis methods to identify patterns and impacts that arise from the adoption of this technology. The results show that the use of drones allows for real-time monitoring of land, early detection of plant diseases, and more efficient resource management, while big data helps in more accurate data-driven decision-making. These two technologies significantly improve the productivity and sustainability of agriculture in the study area. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of drone technology and big data can make a great contribution in facing the challenges of modern agriculture. Precision agriculture, with the support of technology, has the potential to be a long-term solution to improve the efficiency and yield of agricultural production.

Abstract

This study explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI)-based plant health monitoring technology in France, which is expected to improve the efficiency of early detection of plant diseases and optimize the use of agricultural resources. The background of this research is based on the urgent need to increase agricultural productivity and reduce negative impacts on the environment. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of AI in detecting plant health problems and provide data-driven recommendations for farmers. This study uses a mixed approach, with quantitative data from farmer surveys and qualitative data from interviews and case studies in major agricultural regions in France. The results showed that 80% of farmers reported an increase in early detection of diseases, and 75% reported a reduction in pesticide use. In conclusion, AI is playing an important role in supporting sustainable agriculture in France, although challenges in access to technology still need to be addressed. Further research is needed to explore ways to expand the adoption of this technology among smallholders.

Abstract

The emergence of complex, coordinated behavior from local interactions is a fundamental principle in biology, with pattern formation and synchronization being critical to processes like morphogenesis and intercellular signaling. Understanding the underlying nonlinear dynamics that govern this self-organization remains a central challenge in systems biology. This study aimed to develop a unified theoretical framework to investigate the conditions that drive pattern formation versus synchronization in generalized models of cellular communication. We employed a hybrid approach combining analytical methods with extensive numerical simulations of coupled reaction-diffusion and phase-oscillator models. The models incorporated key biological motifs such as activator-inhibitor signaling and time-delayed feedback loops. The results revealed that the interplay between the diffusion rate of signaling molecules and the time delay in the intracellular response is a critical bifurcation parameter. Slow diffusion and short delays favored robust Turing-like pattern formation, while rapid diffusion and longer delays promoted widespread phase synchronizationThis research concludes that cellular collectives can leverage fundamental principles of nonlinear dynamics, specifically the tuning of interaction range and response time, to select between distinct modes of self-organization.

Abstract

Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder marked by cognitive decline and memory loss, primarily caused by the aggregation of amyloid-beta and tau proteins in the brain. Conventional treatments offer limited benefits, emphasizing the need for new therapeutic strategies. To design and evaluate short peptides as targeted protein inhibitors to prevent the aggregation of amyloid-beta and tau proteins, aiming to halt or reverse the progression of Alzheimer's disease. The study employed computational modeling to design peptides, followed by in vitro assays for initial screening, and in vivo tests using transgenic mouse models to assess therapeutic efficacy and safety. Techniques included mass spectrometry, HPLC, and behavioral tests for cognitive function. Designed peptides demonstrated high binding affinity and specificity for amyloid-beta and tau proteins, reducing aggregation by 70% in vitro. In vivo studies showed significant reductions in amyloid plaques and tau tangles, with improved cognitive performance in treated mice. Peptides effectively crossed the blood-brain barrier and accumulated in target brain regions. The findings support the potential of short peptides as a novel therapeutic approach for Alzheimer's disease, warranting further research and clinical trials to validate their efficacy and safety in human subjects.

Abstract

The growth of creative startups has become a key driver of economic development in many cities around the world, including Jakarta, Indonesia. However, despite its potential, Jakarta faces challenges in establishing a robust ecosystem that supports creative startup growth. Understanding how to build an effective ecosystem for creative startups in Jakarta is crucial for fostering innovation, job creation, and economic diversification. This study aims to analyze the key components and challenges involved in building a creative startup ecosystem in Jakarta, focusing on the role of government, private sector, and academic institutions in nurturing this ecosystem. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing interviews with key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, government officials, investors, and academics. Data was also collected through a review of existing reports, articles, and policy documents related to Jakarta's startup ecosystem. The research reveals that Jakarta's creative startup ecosystem is still in its early stages but is showing promise. Key challenges identified include limited access to funding, lack of mentorship, and regulatory hurdles. However, initiatives such as government support programs, collaborative spaces, and growing investment interest have provided significant momentum. Building a successful creative startup ecosystem in Jakarta requires concerted efforts from various stakeholders. A collaborative approach between the government, private sector, and academic institutions is essential for overcoming existing barriers and fostering a more sustainable and inclusive startup environment.

Abstract

Background. The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has opened new possibilities for the revitalization of endangered languages, offering tools for documentation, translation, and intergenerational transmission. However, these technological interventions raise ethical and epistemological concerns about linguistic data sovereignty the right of communities to control how their languages are represented, stored, and utilized in digital systems. Purpose. The study investigates how AI-driven language technologies contribute to both the preservation and commodification of endangered languages, examining the tension between technological innovation and cultural autonomy. The objective is to critically analyze the dual role of AI as a facilitator of linguistic resilience and as a potential vector of digital colonialism. Method. A qualitative mixed-method approach was employed, combining digital ethnography, policy analysis, and interviews with linguists, AI developers, and indigenous language activists. Data were gathered from five AI-based revitalization projects across Oceania, Africa, and North America, focusing on the implementation of machine learning models for speech recognition, corpus generation, and automated translation. Results. The findings reveal that while AI enables large-scale linguistic preservation through automation and accessibility, it also risks undermining community ownership by centralizing control of linguistic datasets within corporate or academic infrastructures. Projects that integrate community-led design and ethical data governance demonstrate higher sustainability and cultural authenticity. Conclusion. The study concludes that digital resurrection of endangered languages requires a framework grounded in data justice and participatory co-creation. AI must function not as an external savior but as a collaborative epistemic ally that empowers linguistic communities to reclaim agency in defining their digital futures.

Abstract

Representation of Muslim communities within contemporary media environments continues to generate ethical concerns related to stereotyping, ideological framing, and imbalanced journalism practices. Mainstream media frequently associate Islam with conflict, extremism, and political instability, while limited attention is given to the diversity, social contributions, and cultural complexity of Muslim societies. Islamic journalism has therefore emerged as an important ethical communication framework emphasizing fairness, contextual accuracy, social responsibility, and respectful representation. This study aimed to examine the ethical considerations and practical challenges encountered in the representation of Muslim communities within contemporary journalism environments. Qualitative descriptive methodology combined with critical discourse analysis was employed through media content analysis, in-depth interviews, and document review involving mainstream journalists, Islamic media practitioners, and communication scholars. The findings revealed that institutional pressure, digital competition, political narratives, and algorithm-driven communication systems significantly influenced representational imbalance concerning Muslim communities. Islamic-oriented journalism platforms demonstrated stronger commitment to ethical reporting principles, including balanced representation, contextual explanation, and community-centered narratives. Ethical journalism practices were also found to contribute positively to intercultural understanding and reduction of harmful stereotypes. This study concludes that Islamic journalism represents an important ethical alternative capable of strengthening inclusive communication, promoting socially responsible reporting, and encouraging more balanced representation of Muslim communities within increasingly polarized global media environments.

Abstract

Digital transformation has accelerated the adoption of electronic credentials, online certifications, and lifelong learning records across educational institutions worldwide. Growing concerns regarding credential fraud, verification inefficiencies, data security, interoperability, and learner ownership have highlighted the limitations of traditional and centralized certification systems. Blockchain technology has emerged as a promising solution capable of enhancing trust, transparency, and security in educational credential management. This study aims to examine the role of blockchain in digital credentials and explore its implications for the future of education certification. A mixed-methods research design employing a sequential explanatory approach was utilized. Quantitative data were collected from 420 stakeholders, including university administrators, educational technology specialists, employers, policymakers, and graduates. Qualitative interviews were conducted with selected participants to gain deeper insights into implementation opportunities and challenges. Structural Equation Modeling and thematic analysis were employed to analyze the data. Findings revealed that perceived security significantly influenced trustworthiness, while trustworthiness emerged as a strong predictor of adoption intention. Interoperability positively affected institutional readiness and supported efficient credential exchange across educational and professional environments. Qualitative evidence further demonstrated improvements in verification efficiency, credential portability, learner empowerment, and stakeholder confidence. The study concludes that blockchain technology has substantial potential to transform educational certification systems by creating secure, transparent, learner-centered, and globally interoperable credential ecosystems capable of supporting future educational and workforce demands.

Abstract

Contemporary Shariah economic law operates within a pluralistic legal landscape shaped by the interaction between classical jurisprudence and modern regulatory frameworks. The expansion of Islamic finance across diverse jurisdictions has intensified tensions between doctrinal authority and institutional regulation, producing varying interpretations and governance practices. This study aims to examine how legal pluralism is constructed and managed within contemporary Shariah economic law, with particular attention to the relationship between doctrinal reasoning and regulatory structures. A qualitative normative–juridical research design is employed through systematic analysis of 92 legal documents, including fatwas, national regulations, and international standards across multiple jurisdictions. Analytical matrices and thematic coding are used to identify patterns of legal interaction, institutional integration, and interpretive divergence. The findings reveal that legal pluralism is a structural characteristic of Islamic financial governance, where integrated systems enhance coherence while decentralized arrangements increase fragmentation. Hybrid governance models demonstrate greater effectiveness in balancing doctrinal diversity with regulatory consistency. The study concludes that legal pluralism should be understood as a dynamic and productive condition rather than a problem to be eliminated, requiring governance frameworks that facilitate coordination between competing authorities while preserving epistemological diversity.

Abstract

Increasing demands for transparency, accountability, and ethical governance have intensified the need for effective audit mechanisms within Sharia-compliant organizations. Sharia compliance audits have emerged as an important governance instrument designed to ensure that organizational activities, financial transactions, and operational practices adhere to Islamic principles while supporting sustainable organizational performance. Growing expansion of Islamic financial institutions and Sharia-oriented enterprises has heightened interest in understanding the broader impact of Sharia auditing beyond regulatory compliance. This study aims to examine the implementation of Sharia compliance audits and evaluate their effectiveness in improving corporate integrity and organizational performance. A quantitative research design was employed involving 350 managers, internal auditors, compliance officers, Sharia supervisory board members, and senior administrators from various Sharia-compliant institutions. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Findings indicate that Sharia compliance audit implementation significantly enhances corporate integrity by strengthening transparency, accountability, ethical conduct, and stakeholder trust. Results further reveal that effective audit implementation positively influences organizational performance, including operational efficiency, institutional sustainability, and stakeholder confidence. Corporate integrity was found to partially mediate the relationship between audit implementation and organizational performance, highlighting its strategic role in governance effectiveness. The study concludes that Sharia compliance audits function as comprehensive governance mechanisms that contribute not only to regulatory adherence but also to integrity enhancement and sustainable organizational performance within Sharia-oriented institutions.
