Abstract

Courier services have become a sector that has experienced a growth spurt during the Covid-19 pandemic. The soaring growth of courier services is due to e-commerce in Indonesia. Increased people's digital activities show this during the pandemic, including online or online shopping. Data from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance shows that purchase transactions via e-commerce increased 18.1 percent to 98.3 million, with a total transaction value of 9.9 percent to Rp20.7 trillion. Fast and efficient delivery and pick-up of goods is the core operation of courier services. The biggest challenge for courier service providers is how to compete with other companies that offer the same type of service. Service users are increasingly demanding the security and reliability of delivery services so that they can meet the expectations of service users. The expectations of service users used as targets for company achievement are (1) reliability (on time, accuracy, integrity), (2) convenience (collecting units, delivery coverage, operating hours), (3) services, and (4) cost. Based on the activities in courier services, the potential for errors or inefficiencies in processing time is in the pre-delivery activities. In the pre-delivery activity is also the initial activity used to input the data base, collect goods, distribute goods and so on. This research proposes that RFID Label technology can overcome errors and increase process time efficiency in shipping goods on courier services, especially in pre-delivery and delivery activities.

Abstract

Based on Global Islamic Economy Indicator 2019/2020 report, Indonesia is in the fourth position globally as a country that uses a Sharia economic system. Seeing Indonesia's opportunities, it should be able to act as a regional and global halal hub. Efforts to encourage the halal industry through strengthening the halal value chain are one of the strategies to encourage Indonesia to become a global halal hub player. This study utilizes the structural equation modeling to examine relationships among key factors affecting readiness towards halal logistics in the food and beverages industry in Indonesia. 13 key factors are confirmed with measurement-model results, including (1) Cleanliness, (2) Safety, (3) Islamic Dietary Law, (4) Physical Segregation, (5) Material Handlings, (6) Storage and Transport, (7) Packaging and Labelling, (8) Ethical Practices, (9) Training and Personnel, (10) Resource Availability, (11) Innovative Capability, (12) Marketing Performance, (13) Financial Performance. The population in this study is in the food and beverage industries, especially in Semarang, Yogyakarta, Malang, and Surabaya. Cluster random sampling was used in this research with as many as 150 sample respondents. A survey with an online questionnaire was conducted in this research. The structural-model results reveal directions of relationships among key factors. Resource availability, training and personnel, and innovative capability are the most important factor in halal supply chain readiness. Further research can focus on other industrial sectors, such as fashion and tourism, as stated in the 2019-2024 Indonesian Sharia Economic Masterplan

Abstract

Abstract— The development and use of technological innovations have changed people's behavior from an industrial society to an information society. It can be seen in the increase in people's consumption patterns from trading through physical stores (offline) to trading through electronic systems, often referred to as e-commerce. Logistics services are distribution actors in the downstream line which are tasked with delivering products from the fulfillment center from e-commerce to the end customer. The uncertainty of the number of requests is the biggest challenge for logistics service players. The growth of e-commerce has also led to an increase in sales volume in e-commerce which has given rise to a new generation of warehouses that are specifically tailored to the special needs of online retailers who directly serve the demands of end-customers in the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment. Traditional warehousing systems cannot handle orders with the characteristics of many transactions but smaller sizes. In addition, warehouses that handle e-commerce are also required to have a fast process in the warehouse because shipments must be made on the same day. In this study, the author aims to perform calculations to find the optimal order picking time in the warehouse, so orders in e-commerce can be processed faster by comparing the picking process time using ordinary Single Picker Routing Problem (SPRP) and combined with the concept of wave picking using Genetic Algorithm (GA). Based on a theoretical study in this paper, the combination between SPRP and wave picking can reduce 42.28% picking time.

Abstract

Supermarket XYZ menghadapi tantangan serius yang mempengaruhi profitabilitasnya. Kegiatan abdimas ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor utama yang menyebabkan penurunan profit dalam supermarket. Faktor-faktor tersebut meliputi stock out (kehabisan stok), biaya display yang tinggi, investasi tinggi dalam inventory (persediaan), biaya pemesanan yang tinggi, dan biaya penyimpanan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui analisis data historis dari Supermarket XYZ, termasuk catatan tentang tingkat stok yang tidak mencukupi, biaya pengeluaran untuk display produk, investasi dalam persediaan, biaya pemesanan, dan biaya penyimpanan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa stock out secara konsisten mengakibatkan hilangnya penjualan dan pelanggan yang kecewa. Biaya display yang tinggi, meskipun memberikan tampilan produk yang menarik, telah meningkatkan biaya operasional supermarket tanpa pencapaian yang seimbang dalam peningkatan penjualan. Investasi yang tinggi dalam persediaan menyebabkan dana yang terikat dalam stok yang tidak produktif, sementara biaya pemesanan yang tinggi dan biaya penyimpanan yang tinggi membebani profitabilitas dengan cara yang signifikan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang dimiliki oleh Supermarket XYZ maka dilakukan pemaksimalan penggunaan gondola. Kegiatan abdimas ini dilakukan untuk memberikan usulan pengisiian ulang gondola dengan menggunakan metode Nonlinear Integer Programming yang bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan total net profit pada Supermarket XYZ. Adapun hasil penerapan metode usulan adalah total produk di display dan total produk yang ditampilkan pada showroom.

Abstract

Tujuan kajian pada Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah melakukan analisis perbaikan proses bisnis pengelolaan bantuan logistik kebencanaan pada Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat (BPBD Jabar). Analisis perbaikan proses bisnis dilakukan melalui tiga tahap. Tahap pertama adalah identifikasi proses bisnis saat ini dengan pendekatan Business Process Mapping. Tahap kedua adalah perbaikan proses bisnis menggunakan pendekatan Business Process Improvement. Tahap terakhir adalah penetapan peran para pihak yang menjalankan proses bisnis menggunakan pendekatan RACI Matrix. Kajian difokuskan pada proses bisnis penerimaan, penyimpanan, dan distribusi bantuan logistik kebencanaan dari BPBD Jabar ke BPBD kabupaten/ Kota di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Kajian menghasilkan peta proses bisnis baku, dan penetapan peran dan tanggung jawab yang jelas bagi para pihak yang terlibat dalam pengelolaan bantuan logistik kebencanaan. Hasil kajian selanjutnya menjadi pedoman pengembangan sistem informasi pengelolaan bantuan logistik kebencanaan pada BPBD Jabar.

Abstract

Abstrak Parfum merupakan produk yang tidak asing lagi digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai suatu kebutuhan untuk tampil percaya diri. Parfum merupakan campuran senyawa aromatik, minyak essensial, fixatif, dan pelarut yang digunakan untuk memberikan keharuman dan dapat dikembangkan sebagi produk aplikasi minyak atsiri dalam bentuk solid parfum. Solid parfume adalah parfum padat yang umumnya terbuat dari campuran fume oil dan wax. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimental yang terdiri dari 6 tahapan diantaranya preformulasi, pemilihan bahan, pembuatan, hasil, evaluasi dan produk jadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat formulasi solid parfume dengan basis karagenanan dengan menggunakan essesial oil citrus, Jasmine dan vanila. Evaluasi yang dilakukan pada sediaan solid parfume dengan menggunakan beberapa metode diantaranya dengan uji hedonik, uji sensori, uji scoring, uji gravimetri dan uji stabilitas. Dan dari penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan konsentrasi terbaik dari karagenanan sebagai basis adalah karagenanan 2,5% dan nilam 2% sebagai fixatif. Dari hasil tes uji hedonik essensial oil yang paling banyak disukai dari ketiga formula adalah formula dengan essensial oil citrus. Sedangkan solid parfume dengan vanila memiliki ketahanan wangi yang lebih awet dibandingkan dengan citrus dan jasmine. Dari hasil evaluasi stabilitas ketiga formula didapatkan hasil sediaan solid parfume yang stabil. Abstract Green perfume is a familiar product used in everyday life as a need to appear confident. Perfume is amixture of aromatic compounds, essential oils, fixatives, and solvents used to provide fragrance. Solidparfume is a solid perfume that is generally made of a mixture of fume oil and wax. The method usedin this study is an experimental method consisting of 6 stages including material selection,preformulation, manufacture, yield, evaluation and finished products. This research aims to makesolid perfume formulation with karagenanan base by using essesial oil citrus, Jasmine and vanilla. Theevaluation was performed on solid solid parfume by using several methods such as hedonic test,sensory test. scoring test, garvimetry test and stability test. And from research conducted can beconcluded the best concentration of carrageenan as base is carrageenan 2,5% and patchouli 2% as fixative. From the test results of the most preferred hedonic essential oil test of the three formulas is a formula with citrus oil essensial. While solid perfume with vanilla has a more durable fragrant resistance compared with citrus and jasmine. From the result of stability evaluation of the three formulas we get solid stable parfume dosage result.
