Abstract

The IPAS (Natural Sciences and Social Studies) learning process for fifth grade students at MI Ma'arif Sambiroto still uses lecture methods and conventional learning media such as whiteboards, which results in a lack of interaction and active participation from students. This makes the learning atmosphere feel monotonous and students tend to get bored quickly, resulting in a less than optimal understanding of the material. This study aims to compare the use of PowerPoint and Prezi presentation media on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in IPAS. This study uses a quantitative research design with a quasi-experimental type and a nonequivalent control group design model. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, which were then analyzed using percentage analysis and One-Way Anova. The results showed that the use of PowerPoint media obtained 98% data, which was classified as good, while Prezi obtained 92% data, which was also classified as good. The learning outcomes of students who used PowerPoint were very high, with 91.7% data, and students who used Prezi obtained 91.4% learning outcomes. The One-Way ANOVA statistical test shows a significant difference between the two media in terms of IPAS learning outcomes, with a calculated F value of 125.364 for PowerPoint and 180.134 for Prezi. Based on these results, it can be concluded that although both media improve student learning outcomes, the use of PowerPoint has a higher value than Prezi in improving IPAS learning outcomes. Both media have a significant effect on IPAS learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates learning media innovation implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers in Indonesian elementary schools and examines how these innovations align with the school’s vision and mission while enhancing instructional quality. The purpose of this study is to identify the forms of learning media innovation, evaluate their pedagogical implications, and analyze internal and external factors affecting their sustainability using a SWOT-based strategic framework. A qualitative case study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Candi Sidoarjo, involving one principal, two Islamic Religious Education teachers, and purposively selected Grade III and Grade V students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, integrated with SWOT analysis, to ensure systematic interpretation and triangulation. The findings reveal four dominant categories of learning media: digital presentations, audio-visual videos, concrete teaching aids, and teacher-developed contextual modules. These innovations significantly increased students’ engagement, participation, classroom interaction, and conceptual understanding of religious content. Institutional strengths include leadership support, collaborative teacher culture, and adequate infrastructure, while weaknesses involve limited digital devices, varying levels of technological competence, and time constraints for media preparation. Opportunities arise from technological advancement and institutional partnerships, whereas threats relate to technical complexity and financial limitations. The novelty of this study lies in conceptualizing learning media innovation as a strategic and institutional ecosystem rather than merely a technical classroom practice. This study contributes theoretically by extending differentiated learning theory to Islamic Religious Education across cognitive, affective, and spiritual domains, and practically by offering a strategic framework to guide sustainable media innovation in primary religious education contexts.

Abstract

Writing scientific articles is a crucial component in developing knowledge and technology. In the digital era, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as an essential tool that can assist students in composing high-quality scientific articles. This research aims to evaluate the extent to which students use AI technology in scientific article writing and to analyze its impact on the quality of the resulting articles. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examines current literature to understand AI usage's benefits, challenges, and influence in scientific writing. The findings reveal that AI can enhance the quality of student articles by providing more accurate data analysis, improving writing structure, and ensuring originality. However, limited knowledge of AI and inadequate writing skills remain significant barriers. This research also provides recommendations for improving the integration of AI into the scientific writing curriculum to maximize its potential in supporting higher education.

Abstract

Inculcating anti-corruption values is one of the most urgent things to do now. Instilling anti-corruption values can be done in children from an early age. These activities can be carried out consistently and sustainably so that anti-corruption values will become a strong foundation for building attitudes and mentality in children's personalities. A child's personality cannot be formed instantly but requires a long and continuous process. Inculcating anti-corruption values can be done through formal and non-formal education, such as family and the environment around the community, so that the role of parents and an educator is needed for children to continue to guide and set an example of an exemplary attitude towards the application of anti-corruption values. Religious education can also be an essential capital in efforts to teach anti-corruption values by increasing children's faith and devotion; it is hoped that a child will know about the causes and effects of committing acts of corruption in terms of religious law.
