Abstract

Psychological Well Being is a biological well-being characterized by self-acceptance, positive correlation, independence, environmental dominance, purpose in life, and self-development. In the Covid-19 era, this has a big impact on life, especially for final semester students, with the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) which harms many parties, especially those who are forced to carry out three higher education services and are unable to carry out Compulsory Student Education. Business as usual in education, research and community service. Delayed, in addition to the burden of the final task which becomes an obstacle for students, it is also difficult to write papers, mentoring, etc., which is a challenge that has a lot of negative impacts on the psychology of final students. The emergence of psychological barriers, resulting in the welfare (Psichological Well Being) of students in the learning process is hampered. Student mental health is related to academic ability and how their relationship uses social skills, health, and spirituality. Efforts to create an environment that supports the mental health of students must have good social support. Social support comes from family, friends, friends and social groups.

Abstract

Death is a fate that no one can avoid. The death of a person does not only involve the person who died but also affects the person left behind. The death of a parent will cause life changes that can cause stress and sadness, this sadness will cause a child to experience grief because of the loss of a loved one due to death. The purpose of this study was to find out how the anxiety felt by a child whose parents died was related to his emotional state which was filled with feelings of loss, sadness, loneliness and lack of love. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study qualitative research type. Methods of data collection carried out using the interview method. The results of this study are to reveal things that are more in-depth and detailed that cannot be uncovered by other methods, the response or reaction felt by a child whose parents have died is anxiety. The conclusion from the results of this study, the authors found anxiety experienced by a child in the form of anxiety about the future, social, economic and cognitive disturbances. The author also finds that a child overcomes his anxiety by using Emotional-Focused Coping techniques

Abstract

Elderly is the final stage in human life which is characterized by a process of decreasing abilities, both physical and psychological. As is the case in LKS Pondok Lansia Gimbar Alam Pringsewu which has psychological problems for the elderly, namely loneliness. Loneliness in the elderly is caused by the need to have close relationships with the closest family not being fulfilled. This research aims to examine the process of implementing Islamic guidance in overcoming loneliness in the elderly LKS Pondok Lansia Gimbar Alam Pringsewu. This research is qualitative research, with field research and qualitative descriptive research. Determining informants in this research used the snawball sampling technique. Primary data sources numbered 6 people, consisting of 1 religious guide (ustads), 3 elderly people and 2 informants. The collection methods in this research used observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the process of implementing Islamic guidance had a positive impact on the elderly. Carrying out this activity means that the elderly at LKS Pondok Lansia Gimbar Alam Pringsewu are not lost in sadness and can prevent the elderly from feeling lonely because when Islamic guidance takes place, interaction between the elderly is created so that the need for close relationships is fulfilled.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of hypnolearning in enhancing teachers' ability to deliver lessons to students through a guidance and counseling program. The research employs an experimental method with a quantitative approach, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted at SD Negeri No. 1 Balangnipa, Balangnipa District, Sinjai Regency, from September to October 2024. The population consisted of all elementary school teachers in Gugus II Sinjai Utara, with the sample selected using the total sampling technique to ensure equal opportunities for all members of the population. Data collection techniques included observation and tests, with research instruments comprising pretests and posttests designed to measure changes in teachers' abilities after the intervention. Data analysis was conducted through three stages, including assumption testing (normality and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test with a 5% significance level. The results revealed that hypnolearning significantly improved teaching effectiveness, with an average score difference of 24.67742 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a substantial difference between pretest and posttest results. This improvement is attributed to teachers' ability to apply relaxation techniques and provide positive suggestions to students, creating a more conducive learning environment and enhancing students' comprehension. Thus, implementing hypnolearning in guidance and counseling programs has been proven effective in improving teaching quality. Therefore, this method is recommended as an innovative strategy for teachers to create a more comfortable, interactive, and engaging learning experience for students

Abstract

The search for meaning of life can be achieved by using the dimension of spirituality to fulfill the inner needs of humans. This study was intended to describe the spiritual values instilled by the coaches of Nashrun Minallah Islamic Boarding School to students who experienced mental disorders, especially those affected by magic and genie disorders through Islamic psychotherapy. This article uses a type of qualitative research, the method of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation, with analytical techniques using data reduction, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study that the spiritual form shown by santri leads to positive spiritual products includes a more meaningful life, more active worship and a balance between fulfilling life in the world and in the hereafter according to the guidance of the Qur'an and as-Sunnah. The form of Islamic psychotherapy that is practiced is the therapy of prayer, dhikr and ruqyah so that someone is spared from interference from spirits.

Abstract

Drug and illicit drug abuse in Indonesia in recent years has become a serious problem and has reached a concerning state to become a national problem. In the implementation of recovery, drug addicts need to undergo a recovery process with an effective program and carried out in a rehabilitation center and assistance from professional staff. The professional staff needed by addicts to recover are addiction counselors, psychologists, doctors, religious leaders and a supportive environment. This study aims to determine what programs are run by addiction counselors at the Sibolangit Rehabilitation Center in the process of recovering drug addicts, to determine the role of addiction counselors in the recovery of drug addicts and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in the recovery of drug addicts at the Sibolangit Rehabilitation Center. This study is a field study with a qualitative descriptive nature using observation, interview and documentation techniques in order to obtain data and information in this study. The results of this study indicate that the program run by drug addicts or residents at the Sibolangit Rehabilitation Center is adjusted to the Therapeutic Community (TC) method which requires active participation, feedback, role modeling, collective change formats, sharing, structural and systematic, open communication, group relationships and using unique terminology. Addiction counselors play a full role as facilitators and companions during the recovery period. Starting from conducting an assessment at the beginning of recovery, meeting needs during the recovery program and continuing to provide aftercare services after completing the recovery program in order to maintain recovery through the family and the openness of the residents themselves. Supporting factors for the recovery of drug addicts are strong self-motivation, family conditions that support recovery, positive friendships and a drug-free living environment. While the inhibiting factors for the recovery of drug addicts are a lack of self-confidence, a busy and less attentive family, friends who still consume drugs, and a living environment that contains a drug environment.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health problem in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 27.67%, far above the WHO standard of less than 20%. This condition is recognized as the "golden period" of child development (the First 1,000 Days of Life), which, if not optimally managed, can cause permanent damage. Handling stunting is not only related to nutrition but also involves the role of the family, especially both parents, in care. This study aims to understand parenting patterns, analyze family support, and evaluate the implementation of good parenting education and counseling for stunting prevention in Lappa Village. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study type, which aims to describe the subjective behavior of the studied. The study location is Lappa Village, North Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency, and was conducted from March to May 2024. The study subjects included 5 parents and close family members, 2 Posyandu cadres, and 2 health workers. Data were collected through interviews and observations. Parenting Styles: Parenting styles are crucial in preventing stunting, influenced by education levels, knowledge, and good feeding practices. Mothers with higher education are more receptive to nutrition and health information. A mother's knowledge of nutrition and proper feeding practices is crucial. A mother's psychological well-being, such as anxiety, also influences parenting styles. Family Support: Family support, particularly the role of the father, is crucial. Fathers who are cooperative and actively involved in childcare, including helping with housework and providing mental support, contribute to stunting prevention. Lack of cooperation between husband and wife in establishing parenting rules can hinder prevention efforts. Education and Counseling: Education and counseling services provided at integrated health posts (Posyandu), including monitoring the Child Health Card (KMS), providing vitamins, providing PMT (Food and Nutritional Supplements), and providing education on complementary foods (MPASI) and balanced nutrition, play a crucial role in improving parental understanding and behavior. The 'Isi Piringku' (My Plate) socialization campaign was also effective in changing maternal behavior related to feeding. The study's conclusions indicate that good parenting styles, supported by education, knowledge, and proper feeding practices, as well as strong family support, are highly effective in preventing stunting. Education and counseling conducted by integrated health posts (Posyandu) and health workers play a vital role in improving parents' understanding and skills. The implications of this research are the importance of strengthening education and counseling programs that involve both parents and family support, as well as enhancing the role of Posyandu cadres to achieve optimal stunting prevention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana mahasiswa memahami stigma yang ada terhadap layanan konseling dan bagaimana minat mereka terbentuk terhadap layanan karir. Metodologi yang dihunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk memahami fenomena sosial dan manusia secara mendalam melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Penelitian ini fokus pada stigma dan minat, serta berusaha menggali informasi rinci tanpa menggunakan data numerik sebagai fokus utama. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus, dimana studi kasus memungkinkan peneliti mengekplorasi secara mendalam fenomena stigma dan minat mahasiswa tentang layanan konseling yang dilakukan suatu lembaga pengembangan karir. Kemudian menggunakan teknik Pengumpulan Data Observasi Partisipatif, Wawancara mendalam, Dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian yakni stigma terhadap layanan konseling masih cukup kuat. Stigma ini membuat banyak mahasiswa merasa takut atau malu untuk mengakses bantuan profesional, meskipun mereka membutuhkannya. Edukasi yang terbuka dan pendekatan yang inklusif dianggap penting untuk mengurangi stigma tersebut dan mendorong mahasiswa lebih berani menggunakan layanan konseling. minat terhadap layanan konseling di kalangan mahasiswa mulai tumbuh, terutama ketika mereka mengetahui manfaatnya secara langsung. Faktor seperti informasi yang jelas, lingkungan yang suportif, dan kemudahan akses sangat memengaruhi tingkat minat tersebut. Upaya kampus dalam memperkenalkan dan mempromosikan layanan konseling secara aktif dinilai dapat meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa. Adapun layanan yang mendukung kesiapan karier mahasiswa, seperti konseling karier individual, kelompok, pelatihan soft skills, workshop penyusunan CV dan wawancara kerja, serta asesmen minat dan bakat.

Abstract

Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (disingkat TPA atau TPQ) adalah sebuah lembaga atau Sebuah kelompok masyarakat yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan nonformal dalam Islam yang bertujuan untuk mengajar anak-anak di TK, SD, Madrasah Bhutidia (SD/MI) atau di atasnya cara membaca Al-Qur'an dan dasar-dasar Dinur Islam. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Institut Islam Muhammadiyah Sinjai di desa Bonto Tenngnga merupakan salah satu kegiatan untuk mengajar anak-anak TK-TPA. Abstract

Bimbingan konseling merupakan sebuah kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh dua orang atau lebih guna untuk mencapai suatu tujuan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan di sekolah kecamatan tonra, desa bulu-bulu, dusun kaccope. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan tujuan agar siswa disekolah SDN 246 bulu-bulu menjadi lebih aktif dan jiwa sosialnya lebih baik sehingga ketika mereka berinteraksi di teman sebaya, orang tua beserta seluruh yang mereka jumpai dapat memberikan kesan baik yang dapat ianggap cocok dengan cukuipan umurnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pegabdian dalam masyarkat (pkm) yaitu metode bimbingan kelompok dengan metode: tahap pertama yaitu melakukan perkenalan kepada siswa untuk menjalin suatu hubungan emosional yang baik sehingga mereka lebih terbuka dalam bimbingan kemudian tahapan selanjutnya melakukan diskusi kelompok daan mengenali probelm yang ada dan memberi arahan terkait hal yang dipermaslahkan dan tahap akhir yaitu melihat dampak setelah bimbingan tersebut. Dengan penerapan dasar-dasar Bk ini dapat dicapai atau dapat dikatakan bisa dijadikan sebuah bahan dalam pembelajaran atau penerapan di sekolah dasar.
