Methods of data analysis using non-parametric static analysis techniques Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney with α 0.05. Results: From the results of the study on 15 respondents, the results showed differences in the pretest and posttest in the intervention group, namely an increase in the quality of sleep for infants after treatment, namely a difference in the mean pretest 2.42 and the mean posttest 4.28 with the result P = 0.001 < α 0.05 .   Conclusion: From the results of research on 15 respondents, it was found that baby massage was effective in improving sleep quality in infants aged 3-12 months

Abstract

Background : One of the goals of child health efforts is to ensure the survival of children through efforts to reduce the mortality rate of newborns, infants, and toddlers. The most common cause of neonatal death in 2021 in Indonesia are Low Brirth Weight (LBW) conditions of 34.5% and asphyxia of 27.8%. Other causes of death include congenital abnormalities, infection, COVID- 19, neonatal tetanus, and others. Factors that influence the incidence of LBW are maternal factors including the presence of diseases experienced by the mother during pregnancy (pregnancy complications, one of which is due to anemia), maternal factors (geographical), namely maternal age and parity, social economic conditions, educational status of the mother. Purpose: to determine the factors that influence the incidence of low birth weight babies (LBW) Method: This research is a quantitative study using an observational analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach, with a sample size of 207 respondents. Bivariate analysis with Chi Square test. Results: The results of the analysis in this study showed that maternal age (OR = 1.836) and parity (OR = 0.950) were not risk factors for low birth weight in newborns, while the variable Hb level (OR = 15.782) and LILA size (OR = 9,538) is a risk factor for low birth weight. Conclusion: The results of this study are that the Hb level and LILA size in pregnant women are risk factors for low birth weight, while maternal age and parity are not risk factors for low birth weight babies

Abstract

Background : One of the goals of health efforts for pregnant women is to ensure the health of the mother and fetus through efforts to reduce maternal and newborn mortality rates. : The existence of problems in pregnant women, such as complications that can endanger the safety of pregnant women, is often caused by pregnant women not making Antenatal Care (ANC) visits. This can be seen from the failure to fulfill the K4 Coverage target in the Central Java region such as Grobogan Regency, 90.2%. Meanwhile, in 2023, there will be a K1–K4 Drop Out (DO) of 4.5 percent. This means that there are still 4.5 percent of pregnant women who do not receive fourth-term antenatal care. Purwodadi I Community Health Center, which is one of the Community Health Centers in Purwodadi District, Grobogan Regency, has low Antenatal Care (ANC) visits in 6th place, namely, the coverage of K4 visits in 2023 is felt to be still less than the set target of 95%. The lack of Antenatal Care is influenced by the lack of husband's support in terms of emotional support, facilities, information and appreciation, causing pregnant women to be disobedient in carrying out antenatal care during pregnancy.Purpose: To determine the effect of husband's support on pregnant women's compliance with antenatal care Method: This research is a quantitative study using an observational analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The study population was 98 third trimester pregnant women. The sample technique used accidental sampling with 46 respondents. Results: In this study, there is a relationship between husband's support and compliance with antenatal care examinations for pregnant women at the Purwodadi I Community Health Center in 2023, with a P value = 0.001. There are sub variables in this research, namely there is a relationship between emotional support (P value = 0.001), instrumental support (P value = 0.007), and appreciation support (P value = 0.034) with compliance with antenatal care examinations for pregnant women at the Purwodadi Community Health Center I Year 2023. Meanwhile, there is no relationship between informational support and compliance with antenatal care examinations in pregnant women with a P value of sign = 0.053. Conclusion: The results of this study conclude that husband's support consisting of emotional support, instrumental support, informational support, and appreciation support plays a role in increasing pregnant women's compliance with antenatal care. Health workers are advised to provide explanations and increase information about the importance of complying with ANC examinations during pregnancy at least four times. Husbands are also expected to provide extra support to pregnant women, such as providing the necessities needed during pregnancy and accompanying the mother when visiting ANC

Abstract

Background ; One of the causes of the pattern of infant mortality in Indonesia is that less than half of children aged 12-17 months do not receive breast milk. According to WHO in 2020, exclusive breastfeeding coverage is around 44%, while coverage in Indonesia is only 42% of babies receiving exclusive breastfeeding. Treatment given to increase breast milk production is giving ginger drink which contains galactogue which can increase breast milk production. Objective ; To analyze the effect of giving ginger drink on breast milk production in postpartum mothers.Methodology ; This research is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample of 22 respondents. Results ; Based on SPSS using the paired sample t-Test with a p-value of 0.000. If α <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of giving ginger drink on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in Ngembak Village. Conclusion ; Based on this research, there is an effect of giving ginger drink on breast milk production in postpartum mothers in Ngembak Village

Abstract

Background: Feeding rules are guidelines for feeding that include schedules, types, portions, and parental responsiveness in feeding toddlers. Mothers' knowledge of feeding rules plays an important role in shaping toddlers' eating patterns and nutritional status. Objective: To analyze the effect of knowledge of feeding rules on the nutritional status of toddlers aged 24–59 months. Methods: This was a quantitative analytical cross-sectional study involving 97 mothers of toddlers. Knowledge of feeding rules was categorized as adequate in 38 (39.2%) respondents, good in 36 (37.1%) respondents, and poor in 23 (23.7%) respondents. The nutritional status of toddlers was measured using the weight-for-age indicator based on WHO standards. Bivariate analysis used Somers' d test to determine the direction and strength of the relationship between ordinal variables. Results: The majority of feeding rules knowledge was in the adequate category (39.2%), while the nutritional status of toddlers was dominated by good nutrition (64.9%). Somers' d test showed a significant relationship between knowledge of feeding rules and nutritional status (d = 0.462; p = 0.001). The positive direction of the relationship indicates that the better the knowledge of feeding rules, the better the nutritional status of toddlers. Conclusion: Knowledge of feeding rules has a significant effect on the nutritional status of toddlers. Improving education on feeding rules can be an effective strategy for preventing nutritional problems in toddlers.
