Abstract

The recording of student attendance aims to monitor the student attendance quantity and educate students to be disciplined. Student attendance records that are currently done manually on the paper can be improved to increase the quality of the attendance data processing, service quality and system in the School. This study aims to build an Attendance application based on Android platform that can be used on the teacher's mobile device. Waterfall is the method which is used to develop the attendance application in this study. Then, to ensure the application performance, the attendance application will be tested by the blackbox testing method. The test results using the blackbox testing show that the features in the attendance application perform according to its purpose. This attendance application can facilitate the homeroom teacher to carry out the student attendance recording process daily and to create the student attendance data recapitulation.

Abstract

Searching is one of the important features on the website, but it is not uncommon for users to make typos when typing keywords. Typing errors of these keywords is usually referred to as typo. This study aims to build a system by providing suggestions for correcting typos in the search feature. Keywords search correction are obtained using the Damerau-Levenshtein Distance Approximate String Matching algorithm by to calculate the editing distance of each word in a keywords with each word in the Indonesian word dictionary. Testing was carried out as many as 40 experiments, with 10 keywords and 250 articles taken randomly. The test results show the Damerau-Levenshtein Distance algorithm is able to provide precision and recall values of 91.24% and 89.58% in providing keyword improvement suggestions. With the improvement of the system, each trial increases with precision value of 0.80 and recall value of 0.98

Abstract

The development of information technology and computers is currently very rapid, especially in the field of communication technology, namely smartphones. While the operating system is currently very well known by the public, namely the Android operating system. The city of Palangka Raya is one of the places of education that is the destination of prospective students from various regions. Then they have to find a place to stay while the study is finished and this process will waste a lot of time. So from that we need a facility or media to facilitate the search process of kos by utilizing smartphone technology and the Android operating system. The method used to design and build this application is the waterfall method. The design process is using flowcharts, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, database design and user interface design. Supporting applications are Sublime Text, Android Studio, XAMPP, MySQLyog and blackbox testing

Abstract

Today, technology is rapidly developing in various elements and kinds of society. Withthe use of technology makes the human mindset that manifests into modernization. Thecampus is one place where the student's education to develop the potential that existed to givebirth to students who are creative, crisis, responsible and moral, especially for students. With theuse of campus introduction technology to students will facilitate the learning process. One of theutilization of technology that is now widely used is android.One of them features Android LBS(Location Based Service) is one of the android features used to describe the technology used tofind the location of the device that the user by utilizing satellite facilities. One of the problems ofthe students is the lack of information about the room at Informatics Engineering, University ofPalangkaraya which relates to the subjects in Informatics Engineering. By utilizing the featureLBS (Location Based Service) on android will answer the existing problems so as to facilitatestudents Engineering University of Palangka Raya.The methodology used in development with Prototype According to Pressman, which hasstages of Communication and early data collection, Quick design, Formation of prototype,Evaluation of prototype, Repair prototype and Final Production. At this stage of analysis is madeFlowchart. At this stage of design also made the creation of Unified Modeling Language (UML).The programming languages used are Java, JSON, SQLite.Application of Space Presentation Faculty of Engineering, University of PalangkarayaBased Location Based Service is designed and built using a Prototype Pressman method, withmap plan designed through Google Earth Pro and Edraw Max 7 which is placed on Google MapAPI where data storage is made in online database Firebase and SQLite as local database withthe development of the application created using Android Studio.Implementation of LocationBased Services on Application of Space Presentation Faculty of Engineering, University ofPalangkaraya Based Location Based Service, which applies to the Google Map API with eachpoint of the room made marker that produces radius which varied where if an application userenter into each radius it will produce notification information room containing the subjects thatare in the room so that the lecture-related rooms can be known.

Abstract

The library is a building that contains a collection of books and other archivesin physical form neatly arranged in the building room, easy to find and use when neededby the reader.DDC (Decimal Dewey Classification) is the most widely used classificationsystem in the world. DDC is used to manage and provide access to a collection of booksin the library. The DDC is divided into ten main classes, which together cover the entireworld of knowledge. Consisting of ten main classes, one hundred divisions, and onethousand parts.Various problems found in the system are still manual, for example labeling andcategorizing books that are not suitable, therefore the authors chose this title to beappointed in the Practical Work College proposal because the author wanted to improvethe library work system, especially the Informatics Engineering Library of PalangkarayaUniversity. This application aims to improve the efficiency of library work. This libraryapplication was built using the PHP language (Hypertext Prepocessor). Dengandidukung oleh perangkat lunak seperti Net Beans, Photoshop dan XAMPP.

Abstract

Elementary school student needs to learn tips and tricks in calculation. The book "Speed Mathematics: Secret Skills for Quick Calculation." gives tips and tricks to help student learn the basics of the calculation quickly. Currently, the elementary school students need a facility to help student learn interactively.Multimedia application can facilitate the needs of children to learn interactilvely. The application can be used anywhere and anytime. This study tries to visualize the book Speed Mathematics: Secret Skills for Quick Calculation" to be a learning tool through a multimedia application for elementary school student. The methodology that used to develop the application is a multimedia methodology of Luther.The multimedia application that has built in this research provides an interactive material that helps students understand the basic concepts of calculation. For further development, the application can be developed by adding material contents and animations

Abstract

The need to entertain ourselves has increased ones need to travel, either inside or outside the country.This condition leads the travel agents increasingly promoting their tour packages. The website that isproposed in this reasearch attempts to provide the information of tour packages offered by several travelagents and the travel agents have a media to promote their tour packages widely. The travelers can alsoreview the travel destination on the website.The methodology used in the proposed website is UML-based Web Engineering (UWE). Thismethodology is consist of four (4) phases: Use Case Models, Models Content, Navigation Models andPresentation Models.The result using Blackbox Testing show that this website functionated as expected and can be used asa medium of information for travelers to book tour packages provide by registered travel agents.

Abstract

The designed online class is used to provide additional values to the learning process in theDepartment of Informatics Engineering of University of Palangka Raya. It basically does notreplace the entire learning process because the learning process is thus far implemented in theclassroom. Yet,the application of online classroom provides extra features, such as creating writtenmaterials directly on the web and uploading the materials in PDF or PPT which then can beobtained directly by students on the web. Students can upload their given assignments on the web aswell; therefore the lecturers no longer need to bring a stack of printed reports or papers of thestudent assignments.Modeling application of online class in this research aims at applying UML-based WebEngineering method (UWE) apart from waterfall engineering method which is often taught to thestudents of Department of Informatics Engineering of University of Palangka Raya.The result of this research shows that the website program on online class can be implementedby the lecturers and students majoring in Informatics Engineering by applying model application ofUML-based Web Engineering method (UWE).

Abstract

High internet usage in Indonesia brings a number of data user opinions. Useropinion data can be processed into information that is useful for decision making, datasearching and researching for production and marketing strategies. This researchconducted a survey on some Indonesian Sentiment Analysis research articles. Some of thesestudies have different topics and data sources, butuse Sentiwordnet as a lexical database.The results of this survey show the performance of Sentiwordnet can improve classificationaccuracy in the Sentiment analysis system for Indonesian text.
