Android is a widely used of technology. Location Based Service (LBS) is an android feature to find the location of user?s device by utilizing satellite facilities. Problems faced by the students in Informatics of Faculty of Engineering are the limited number of lecturing rooms and the lack information of the use of those rooms. LBS feature on android will answer those existing problems. The methodology for development is Prototype by Pressman which has saveral stages namely (1) communication and initial data collection, (2) quick design, (3) formation of prototype, (4) evaluation of prototype, (5) improvement of prototype and (6) final production. Flowchart is made at analysis stage as well as Unified Modeling Language (UML) at the design stage. The language programs are Java, JSON, SQLite. Map plans are designed through Google Earth Pro and Edraw Max 7 placed on the Google Map API where data storage is made in the Firebase and SQLite online databases as local databases with application development created by Android Studio. Application of Location Based Service (LBS) in Faculty of Engineering of University of Palangka Raya is applied the Google Map API by each marker point being made which generates various radius. When the application user enters into each radius, it will produce a notification of room information that contains lectures taking place in the rooms. Therefore, the rooms associated with lectures is identified

All that requires a media to understand each other and understand one another. The media is language. Language is a medium for communication so cooperation will be created in various aspects. English is the connecting language used as a medium of communication between countries in the world. But some people find it difficult when learning English. The difficulty experienced is due to a lack of understanding of grammar, one of which includes tenses. Learning media as a means of improving the quality of education is very important in the learning process. The research methodology used is waterfall method as an application development methodology. The first step to do is to analyze the needs of the system made, including library research, data collection, consultation, and design. From this analysis a system design using usecase diagrams, activity diagrams and class diagrams is made as a system design to be made. After the system is designed, the next step is to write the program code. At writing the programming language program code used is java, android studio and genymotion as an emulator. Blacbox test results show the software can find out the functions that are not correct, interface errors, performance errors and functionally produce the expected results.

Transport service or usually called travel1 is an inter-city transportation that many people use in Palangkaraya to travel among the cities. However, many people do not know the location of transport services in Palangkaraya and the informations obtained is still limited. Thus a system that provides computerized geographic information is needed. This study discusses the mapping of locations of transport services, location search, location data filters and the determination of the shortest path using the Dijkstra algorithm. For system development, it will apply the waterfall method. It is expected that the availability of a web-based system as a place to provide geographic information on the location of travel services is presented using the Google map API. In this study, the testing results for determining the shortest route on the public transport route can be determined by the Dijkstra algorithm. The transportation route is considered as a directed and weighted graph; the point represents a stop, and; side is as a vehicle lane. In the testing, firstly the user inputs the starting point on the map then looks for the destination on the destination search map, the system will display the initial shortest route output to the destination.

The designed online class is used to provide additional values to the learning process in theDepartment of Informatics Engineering of University of Palangka Raya. It basically does notreplace the entire learning process because the learning process is thus far implemented in theclassroom. Yet,the application of online classroom provides extra features, such as creating writtenmaterials directly on the web and uploading the materials in PDF or PPT which then can beobtained directly by students on the web. Students can upload their given assignments on the web aswell; therefore the lecturers no longer need to bring a stack of printed reports or papers of thestudent assignments.Modeling application of online class in this research aims at applying UML-based WebEngineering method (UWE) apart from waterfall engineering method which is often taught to thestudents of Department of Informatics Engineering of University of Palangka Raya.The result of this research shows that the website program on online class can be implementedby the lecturers and students majoring in Informatics Engineering by applying model application ofUML-based Web Engineering method (UWE).

The selection of outstanding students at SMA Muhammadiyah in Central Katingan Districtis conducted to appreciate the excellent students in order to be more motivated and activein learning activities. Building a website-based information system can apply the waterfallmethod and Weighted Product Method (WP) in its manufacture. The software developmentmethod used in making the support system for the students selection is the weighted productmethod (case study: SMA Muhammadiyah in Central Katingan District) . This waterfallmethod according to Sommerville (2011) includes 5 (five) stages namely requirementdefinition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration andsystem settings, operation and maintenance.Application testing is conducted using the blackbox testing method, where the results of thetest can see that the overall website-based decision support system is functions properly.However, it is expected that this application can continue to be developed and optimized forits use in the future, especially in terms of available features.

There are several factors causing wildfire such as human error, gas leak, and electric short circuit. Those causes should be rapidly controlled. In case of that urgency, the tools to detect immediate fire is needed to give earlier warning quickly and automatically. In designing the detector,the use of several supporting components is also needed to construct the series of board Microcontroler ATmega16, temperature sensor LM35, fire sensor Flame V2, Modem Wavecom, and Alarm Bazzer, and the additional technology in the form of sms. The results of the prototype is to provide eralier warning via sms and alarm, the warning contains the recent conditation of the temparature. If the system of the micro-controller detects the abnormal temperature from the both sensor, the detector will send the notification to the user. Firthermore, the user directly receive the information and can give the quick responses to protect or to overcome the fire.

Today the development of technology has been increasing rapidly as well as the use of android smartphones in the field of information systems. It is familiar among the public because it can help in getting the information in a fast and accurate way particularly in an emergency situation. Human needs for information, one of them is information of health facilities in collaboration with Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) or Agency of Social Security. The purpose of this study is to produce an Android-based application that can facilitate the public in getting information of health facilities in collaboration with BPJS in Palangkaraya. The method applied in the system development in this study is the Waterfall model which consists of five stages, namely, need analysis, system of design, program code writing, program testing, and program implementation. In addition, in creating process, the program uses Android studio software with java programming language and XAMPP connection database, up to UML (Unifield Modeling Language) to depict the system to be made. From this study, the test result shows that the functionality of the BPJS health facility Geographic Information System (GIS) in Palangkaraya City is going well and is in accordance with its function. This android-based application system can display online maps of BPJS health facility locations as well as detailed information from BPJS health facilities in Palangkaraya
