Abstract

Problem: Adolescent girls are very susceptible to anemia, especially those who have menstruated. Anemia in adolescents is caused by nutritional deficiencies, especially iron and folic acid. Due to poor knowledge of diet or incorrect understanding of the body's need for macro- and micronutrients, this intake is low. Anemia in adolescent girls is still a major health problem because its prevalence is still above 20%, namely 21.7%. The Aim Of The Research: This study aims to determine the effect of nutrition education on knowledge of anemia prevention among female adolescents at MTsN 02 Bengkulu City. Research Method: For this research, a quasi-experimental research design with a pre-test-post-test control group design was used. The population is all young women at MTsN 02 Bengkulu City with a sample of 112 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire, before being given education, respondents are given a pretest, then the education is given using the lecture method with leaflets and the animated video method, carried out in 3 meetings with a distance of 1 day and after the 3rd meeting they are immediately given a post test with the same questionnaire. Results: there is an effect of providing nutrition education using the animated video method on increasing knowledge of young women about anemia at MTsN 02 Bengkulu City, shown by a p-value of 0.018, which means a p-value <0.05. Conclusion: The animated video method has a significant impact in increasing awareness of young women about how to prevent anemia.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Vitamin A is the most important nutrient, vitamin A has various uses in various ways to reduce mortality and the risk of disease. The Ministry of Health establishes public health policies and Vitamin A supplementation programs in the field. The process begins with preparation, continues with the provision of vitamin A capsules, and ends with delivery to the intended recipients, namely infants and toddlers. The main objective of this study was to determine what variables are related to the provision of vitamin A in the Kuala Lempuing Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. After data collection, the number of valid samples that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria was 45 samples, based on the initial sample of 76 respondents selected using the Accidental Sampling technique. Based on the results of the analysis, several variables were found that were related to the provision of vitamin A and several variables that were not related. The variables of knowledge and the role of cadres were related (each p = 0.038 and p = 0.023), while the relationship (each p = 0.057), distance (each p = 1000), and family support (each p = 0.454) were not related. The function of cadres in providing vitamin A is significantly related to the knowledge factor. Vitamin A and the increasing responsibility of cadres to provide it to toddlers should be the subject of routine counseling. Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Distance, Family Support, Role of Cadres, Vitamin A  ABSTRAK Vitamin A merupakan zat gizi yang paling penting, vitamin A memiliki bermacam kegunaan dalam berbagai cara untuk mengurangi angka kematian dan resiko penyakit. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Jarak, Dukungan Keluarga, Peran Kader, Vitamin A

Abstract

Extrajudicial divorce (talak siri) remains prevalent within Indonesian Muslim society and poses significant legal challenges due to its incompatibility with the national family law system, particularly in terms of legal certainty, protection of women’s and children’s rights, and orderly population administration. This study aims to analyze the normative differences between Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) and Indonesian positive law concerning talak siri practices and to examine their legal implications. Employing a normative legal research method with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches, this study examines fiqh doctrines, Law Number 1 of 1974 on Marriage, the Compilation of Islamic Law, and relevant legal doctrines related to divorce. The findings reveal a fundamental disparity between the validity of divorce under fiqh and its recognition under Indonesian state law, resulting in dual marital status and legal uncertainty that adversely affect the civil rights of former wives and children, particularly regarding marital status, inheritance, and administrative recognition. This study highlights isbat cerai as a crucial juridical mechanism to bridge normative differences, ensure legal certainty, protect vulnerable parties, and maintain orderly population administration.

Abstract

Background: Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) remains a public health problem in Indonesia. Environmental factors, particularly the physical condition of the house, are suspected to play a role in the transmission of pulmonary TB. This study aims to analyze the relationship between housing physical conditionsincluding ventilation, humidity, lighting, occupancy density, type of flooring, and type of walls and the incidence of pulmonary TB using a systematic literature review approach. Methods: This study employed a systematic literature review by searching for articles in Google Scholar. A total of 20 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were reviewed. The selection process was conducted systematically based on PRISMA guidelines, followed by data extraction and descriptive analysis to identify patterns of association among variables. Results: The findings indicate that ventilation, humidity, lighting, and occupancy density are the factors most consistently associated with the incidence of ulmonary TB. Most articles reported significant associations (p < 0.05) between inadequate ventilation, high humidity, poor lighting, and high occupancy density and an increased risk of pulmonary TB. Houses that do not meet health standards contribute to a higher likelihood of transmission within households.Meanwhile, the type of flooring and type of walls generally did not show a significant association with pulmonary TB incidence. However, these factors may still act as supporting risk factors when combined with poor housing conditions and low socioeconomic status. Overall, housing physical conditions play an important role in the transmission of pulmonary TB within residential settings. Keywords: Pulmonary tuberculosis, physical housing conditions, systematic literature review.

Abstract

The rapid growth of healthcare services has significantly increased the generation of medical waste, posing serious risks to environmental and public health, particularly through water quality contamination. This study examines global trends in medical waste management and proposes a hybrid analytical framework combining bibliometric analysis using SCIMAT and predictive modeling based on artificial neural networks implemented in Orange. Bibliometric mapping was employed to identify dominant research themes, temporal evolution, and knowledge gaps in medical waste and water contamination studies from 2000 to 2023. Subsequently, a neural network model was developed to predict potential water quality deterioration associated with mismanaged medical waste, using simulated environmental indicators. The results reveal a strong research focus on incineration, infection control, and hazardous waste, while predictive modeling of water contamination remains underexplored. The proposed hybrid approach demonstrates high predictive accuracy and offers a robust decision-support tool for environmental health policy. This study contributes methodologically and substantively to sustainable medical waste management and water resource protection.
