Abstract

Hortikultura termasuk jenis komoditi tanaman pertanian yang banyak dibudidayakan oleh manusia. Sayuran adalah salah satu jenis tanaman hortikultura yang dianggap sebagai komoditi unggulan. Selada adalah salah satu jenis sayuran yang banyak dibudidayakan. Keberadaan tanah jenis organosol, menjadi tantangan untuk mendapatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi yang tinggi bagi tanaman. Tanah Organosol memiliki sifat asam, dan miskin unsur hara. Solusi yang digunakan adalah dengan pemberian Jakaba. Jakaba dapat menyuburkan tanah, dan membantu tanaman dalam mendapatkan unsur hara pada tanah, sehingga dapat menurunkan ketergantungan terhadap pupuk anorganik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektifitas pemupukan jakaba dan NPK untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi selada terhadap pemberian berbagai konsentrerasi jakaba. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk Rancangan Acak Kelompok perlakuan yang diuji pemberian jakaba Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 perlakuan yaitu pemberian 100% NPK, 35 ml/l jakaba + 50% NPK, 25 ml/l jakaba + 50% NPK. Hasil penelitian didapatkan pengaruh nyata pemberian jakaba terhadap pengamatan jumlah daun, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pengamatan panjang daun,lebar daun, dan bobot segar. Nilai rata-rata bobot segar yang paling tinggi ditemukan perlakuan 35 ml jakaba + 50%NPK dengan nilai rata-rata 118 gram.

Abstract

Papaya has significant business potential because demand continues to increase every year. The quality and quantity of papaya harvest really depends on quality seeds. The aim of this research is to evaluate the effect of various manures as papaya breeding media and analyze the feasibility of this business. This research was conducted at the Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic in March-May 2023 using a Completely Randomized Environmental Design. Treatment involves the use of chicken, cow and goat manure. The population used was 432 seeds with 3 treatments, each repeated 9 times, so there were 27 plots with 4 polybags per plot. Growth data were analyzed using the Anova test and the 5% DMRT test. Meanwhile, business analysis includes calculating total revenue, income, sales BEP, product BEP, price BEP, and R/C Ratio value. The research results showed that the use of various manures had a significant impact on plant growth, including plant height, leaf length and width, pH of the planting medium, and root length. However, there was no significant effect on leaf number. Business analysis revealed that treatment with Top soil, chicken manure, and husk charcoal gave optimal results with total revenue of IDR 680,000.00, income IDR 422,436.25, sales BEP IDR 126,028.96, product BEP of 31.68 polybags , the BEP price is IDR 1,515.08/polybag, and the R/C Ratio value is 2.64.

Abstract

The laying chicken business has developed very rapidly, but the community does not know much and understands about the factors that influence the production of chicken farms. The purpose of this study is to determine the income and the factors that influence income in Lima Puluh Kota Regency is feasible or not. The method of determining respondents by the census method. Data analysis method uses agriculture analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the total costs incurred by laying hens with an average of Rp. 2,147,620,427/ Period. The number of laying hens was obtained with an average value of Rp2,483,324,612 / Period. By using multiple linear regression analysis obtained the results of the study showed a coefficient of determination (R2) of 99.4%. The f test results were carried out with the result of sig 0.00 < 0.05 which means that the independent variables simultaneously affected income. T test results can be seen that the value of sig t where significant results obtained with a value of sig < 0.05 for the variable cost of seeds (X1) is 0.990, feed costs (X2) is 0,000, the cost of vitamins (X3) is 0.009, costs of cages (X4) is 0,000, and labor costs (X5) are 0,000, it can be concluded that the variables that have a partial influence on income are the variable costs of feed, vitamin costs, pen costs and labor costs.

Abstract

     Peningkatan produksi tanaman hortikutura sawi hijau secara khusus perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Masalah yang muncul dalam budidaya sawi hijau adalah pemakaian pupuk anorganik secara berlebihan, harga pupuk yang mahal, dan lahan suboptimal seperti tanah ultisol dengan kondisi bahan organik yang rendah dan keasaman yang tinggi. Teknologi pemupukan dengan aplikasi POC kulit pisang kepok dan 50% pupuk NPK untuk mengatasi permasalahan lahan. POC dari bahan baku kulit pisang kepok yang melimpah dan upaya mengurangi limbah, serta mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan ramah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi efek dosis POC terhadap perkembangan dan hasil produksi tanaman sawi hijau. Penelitian telah dilakukan di lahan Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh pada bulan Februari sampai bulan Maret tahun 2025. Metode penelitian satu faktor uji menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Perlakuan yang diuji adalah 100% pupuk anorganik NPK (P0), 300 ml/l/plot POC kulit pisang kepok + 50% NPK  (P1), 310 ml/l/plot POC kulit pisang kepok + 50% NPK (P2), 320 ml/l/plot POC kulit pisang kepok + 50% NPK (P3). Tiap taraf perlakuan dikelompokkan sebanyak 6 kelompok sehingga keseluruhan terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Konsentrasi POC 320 ml/plot + 50% NPK merupakan perlakuan terbaik, dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan, dan produksi pada tanaman sawi hijau. Aplikasi POC 320 ml/plot + 50% NPK sudah bisa menggantikan penggunaan NPK 100%.

Abstract

Hidroponik merupakan teknik budidaya tanaman tanpa menggunakan tanah, melainkan menggunakan air yang telah diperkaya dengan nutrisi dan oksigen dalam kadar tertentu. Selada hidroponik dikenal memiliki kualitas yang lebih unggul dibandingkan sayuran konvensional karena bebas dari pestisida dan lebih higienis. Peningkatan permintaan terhadap selada hidroponik memberikan peluang besar bagi pelaku usaha untuk mengembangkan pasar dan meningkatkan produksi. Keputusan pembelian merupakan proses yang dilalui individu dalam memilih dan membeli suatu produk berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu. Di Kota Padang, keputusan pembelian selada hidroponik dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, di antaranya harga, kualitas produk, promosi, dan kualitas pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan pembelian selada hidroponik di Kota Padang, dengan latar belakang meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pola hidup sehat dan kebutuhan akan produk pertanian yang aman dikonsumsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling, melibatkan 102 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga, promosi, dan kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangkan kualitas produk tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 0,610 mengindikasikan bahwa 61% variasi keputusan pembelian dapat dijelaskan oleh keempat variabel tersebut. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya strategi pemasaran yang komprehensif, khususnya dalam hal penetapan harga, peningkatan kualitas layanan, dan promosi yang tepat sasaran guna meningkatkan minat beli konsumen terhadap produk hidroponik.Kata Kunci : Keputusan Pembelian, Perilaku Konsumen, Hidroponik

Abstract

Development of green cabbage production on suboptimal land, one of which is ultisol soil. Efforts to increase production with inorganic fertilizer, namely NPK, have a negative impact on agricultural land or reduce soil fertility quality through continuous use. Efforts to reduce the use of inorganic fertilizer, one of the technologies is the use of biofertilizer microorganisms. Trichoderma sp as a biological fertilizer, its role as a biological control agent against pathogens, has a positive impact on the plant root system, growth and development and plant production. The aim of the research is to analyze the response of green cabbage plants to the application of NPK fertilizer and Trichoderma sp. Carrying out research on the Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic Campus, from February to April 2025. Field experimental research method with Randomized Block Design. Treatments consist of 100% application of inorganic NPK fertilizer, (P1); Trichoderma sp 10ml/liter water + 50% NPK fertilizer, (P2); Trichoderma sp 13 ml/liter water + 50% NPK fertilizer, (P3); Trichoderma sp 15 ml/liter water + 50% NPK fertilizer. Each treatment is grouped into six groups, resulting in a total of 24 experimental units. The application of 10 ml Trichoderma sp + 50% NPK is capable of enhancing plant growth and fresh weight production to a value similar to that obtained with the application of 100% NPK. Increasing the dose of Trichoderma sp applied can enhance the development of the plant's root system. The application of Trichoderma sp can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizer by 50%.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of thes study is to analyze the effect of land area, seed costs, fertilizer costs, pesticide costs, and labor costs simultaneously and partially on corn farming income in Ranah Batahan District, West Pasaman Regency. Methodology: The study was conducted in February 2025 using quantitative data. Sample of 93 farmers was calculated using the Slovin formula and selected using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling method. Data analysis with the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, statistical, and coefficient of determination (R²). Results: Land area, seed cost, fertilizer cost, pesticide cost, and labor cost simultaneously have significant effect on income with a significance value of 0.000. Partially land area, fertilizer cost, and pesticide cost have significant effect with a significance level of ≤0.05, while seed cost and labor cost do not have significant effect on corn farming income with a significance level of ≥0,05. The coefficient of determination of 41.4% indicates the variables in the study can explain farming income. Findings: Land area increases corn farmers' income, while high fertilizer costs reduce profits. Pesticide costs have a positive impact indicating the importance of pest control, while the insignificance of seed and labor costs indicates suboptimal input utilization. Novelty: This study analyzes the influence of production inputs for corn farming in Ranah Batahan District, focusing on specific local conditions that are rarely discussed in previous studies. Originality: This study offers the effectiveness of input use in increasing corn farmers' income. Conclusion: Production input from land area, fertilizer costs, and pesticide costs are important factors that affect corn farming income. Type of Paper: This article is the result of quantitative research that is explanatory in nature with a multiple linear regression approach.

Abstract

Harau is one of the sub-districts in Lima Puluh Kota Regency that has significant potential as a center for gambir commodity production, with a total land area of 16,708 hectares and a production volume of 10,823.66 tons. The productivity of gambir agriculture in Harau District is the lowest, which is 0.12 ha/kg. One of the smallest administrative areas (Nagari) in Harau District that experienced a decline in productivity was Nagari Solok Bio-Bio. In this study, the influence of capital factors (X1), price (X2), labor (X3), land area (X4), and production volume (X5) was studied simultaneously and partially on the income of gambir farmers in Nagari Solok Bio-Bio. The methodology used was multiple linear regression analysis and a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Based on the results of the study, the average income of gambir farmers per year in Nagari Solok Bio-Bio was IDR 41,889,095. Based on the results of the study, all independent variables, namely capital, price, labor, land area, and production volume, have a significant influence on the income of gambir farmers, both partially and simultaneously. With an Adjusted R-squared (R²) Coefficient of 0.667, the five factors contributed 66.7% to the variation in farmer income.Keywords: Gambir, Income, Multiple Linear Regression

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the intercropping pattern of green mustard and spring onions given Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) of rabbit urine on growth and production. The study used the experimental method with randomized Block Design (RBD). All treatments received fertilization with rabbit urine LOF at the same dose (50 ml/l water), and the treatments are P1 (monoculture of mustard greens), P2 (intercropping of mustard greens ₊ one row of spring onions), and P3 (intercropping of green mustard ₊ two rows of spring onions). Each treatment was repeated six times, so there were 18 treatment units. The growth and production components of green mustard and spring onions were the variables observed in this study. The data obtained were tested using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and further tested with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Furthermore, The effectiveness of planting patterns was evaluated using the Land Equity Ratio (LER) to compare land use efficiency with the economic benefits of the monoculture pattern. The results showed that the planting system with an intercropping pattern can increase (p<0.05) the growth and production of green mustard except for the variables of leaf length and root length (p>0.05). Meanwhile, the intercropping system of mustard greens, with both one row and two rows, provides higher land use efficiency than monocultures, with LER values of 2,132 and 3,334, respectively. It can be concluded that a planting system with an intercropping pattern between mustard greens and spring onions is an ideal and recommended combination.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen integrated agricultural community business through synergy between academics, business actors, and farmers. The program was implemented by the Agribusiness Management Study Program team of Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic in collaboration with Solok Radjo Cooperative and LemBoo Farm in Solok and Limapuluh Kota Regencies, West Sumatra. Implementation methods include discussion and action plan formulation as well as integrated agricultural activity demonstrations. Main activities encompass silage production from corn straw as alternative livestock feed, organic fertilizer production from cattle manure waste, and community business management socialization for integrated farming system development. Results demonstrate the creation of collective innovation integrating technical, social, and environmental aspects. Solok Radjo Cooperative successfully increased Arabica coffee added value through processing to green beans and obtained international certification and awards. Agricultural waste utilization into economically valuable products enhanced farming efficiency and sustainability. University tri-dharma synergy with communities strengthened knowledge transfer through student field studies and internships. This program proves that collective approaches can improve competitiveness, farmer welfare, and environmental sustainability in community-based agribusiness systems.
