Abstract

Differentiated Instruction and Mindfulness Workshop to Improve Teacher Competence in the Guru Penggerak Program The transformation of 21st-century education requires adaptive, inclusive, and student-centered learning approaches. However, teachers still face challenges in implementing differentiated instruction, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning in an integrated manner. This study aims to improve teachers’ competencies through an integrated workshop within the Guru Penggerak Program. The method used was a participatory workshop approach involving orientation, core activities, reflection, and evaluation stages. The results showed indications of improved teacher competence, with 88% active participation during orientation, 85% engagement in group discussions, and 82% ability to design differentiated instruction. In addition, 90% of participants reported increased focus and emotional regulation through mindfulness practices, while 84% expressed readiness to implement the approach in their classrooms. The evaluation results indicated that 92% of participants perceived the workshop as highly beneficial. These findings demonstrate that integrating differentiated instruction, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning through workshop-based training supports the development of teachers’ pedagogical, intrapersonal, and social competencies. Therefore, this integrated model can serve as a strategic and sustainable approach for professional teacher development

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by GeoGebra. This research was motivated by the low level of students' mathematical creative thinking skills, as indicated by the pre-cycle test results showing that only 1 out of 32 students (3.12%) achieved the minimum mastery criterion. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 32 students of class X.2 at SMAN 9 Mataram in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The learning process was carried out using the Discovery Learning model assisted by GeoGebra on the topic of Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SLETV). The results showed a significant improvement in students' mathematical creative thinking skills. Learning mastery increased from 3.12% in the pre-cycle stage to 87.50% in Cycle I, exceeding the predetermined success indicator of 75%. The improvement occurred because Discovery Learning encouraged students to actively discover concepts through investigation and problem-solving activities, while GeoGebra facilitated concept visualization and exploration of various solution strategies. Therefore, the Discovery Learning model assisted by GeoGebra can be considered an effective alternative for improving students' mathematical creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study is the lack of interest in learning that has an impact on the learning outcomes of class XI TKP SMK 3 Mataram students on the Circle material. To overcome this problem, the researcher used the Inquiry learning method with the aim of increasing the interest and learning outcomes of class XI TKP SMK 3 Mataram students. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of classroom action research (PTK). The data sources used were 25 students from class XI TKP SMK 3 Mataram. Data collection procedures include distributing questionnaires and learning outcome tests. The results of the study showed: (1) The average value of learning outcomes in cycles I and II was 41.2 and 84, while the percentage of completion in cycles I and II was 12% and 85.6% with very low and very high criteria. (2) The average interest in learning in cycle I was 39.09 with fairly good criteria. Thus, the results of this study indicate that the application of the Inquiry learning model to the Circle material can increase student interest and learning outcomes.
