Abstract

The increasing demand for digital transformation in the public sector has encouraged government institutions to optimize their performance through information systems. This study was carried out at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Banyuwangi Regency still faces challenges in monitoring employee tasks, which are carried out manually and prone to delays, lack of transparency, and imbalance of workloads. This research aims to design a web-based Employee Task Monitoring Information System (SIMANTAP) to support effective and accountable task management. The methodology adopted in this research was the Research and Development (R&D) framework, implemented through the waterfall development model for system development. The data were gathered using several techniques, namely interviews, direct observation, and a review of relevant literature. The system design process involved the preparation of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, as well as a database schema, and user interface prototypes using Draw.io and Figma. The outcome of this study is a system design which allows administrators, supervisors, and technical controllers to monitor, assign, and evaluate employee tasks in real time. This system is expected to improve transparency, workload distribution, and performance evaluation within DPMPTSP Banyuwangi. Beyond the conceptual contribution, the design also provides practical value by supporting daily task management in government institutions, making work supervision more efficient and accountable.

Abstract

Dinas pendidikan Kabupaten Bondowoso adalah salah satu instansi pemerintah yang menyalurkan layanan pendidikan kepada masyarakat. Pelayanan Pendidikan yang berupa perizinan mendirikan sekolah, perpanjangan izin operasional sekolah terutama di bidang PAUD yang terdapat pada Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Bondowoso Jawa Timur. Perizinan yang dimaksud berupa Tindakan administrasi negara yang memperkenankan atau memberikan izin suatu Tindakan kepada pemohon atau pihak lain yang berdasarkan peraturan perundang-undangan. Yang sebenarnya adalah suatu Tindakan terlarang, akan tetapi apabila yang dimaksud dilarang, maka harus dilakukan dengan syarat-syarat dan prosedur yang telah ditentukan untuk tujuan memberi perlakuan pembinaan, pengawasan, pengendalian kepada pihak pemohon izin. Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Bondowoso membutuhkan sebuah perangkat lunak yang khusus dalam melayani masyarakat untuk mengurus perizinan secara efisien.

Abstract

Determining the health status of the fetus is a crucial aspect of pregnancy monitoring to reduce the risk of complications and increase the safety of the mother and baby. The K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) method has been implemented as a classification technique in determining fetal health status based on cardiotocography (CTG) data. This study describes the use of the KNN algorithm to analyze various CTG parameters, including fetal heart rate and uterine contraction frequency, to classify fetal health status into three categories: normal, suspect, and pathologic. The implementation process involves collecting normalized data, selecting relevant features, and using the KNN algorithm with varying K values ​​to determine the most optimal value. The research results show that the KNN method with the right K value can achieve high accuracy in classifying fetal health status, with accuracy reaching up to 89%. These findings indicate that KNN is an effective and reliable method in supporting medical personnel to make decisions based on CTG, which can ultimately improve the quality of maternal and infant health care. In addition, the implementation of this method is relatively simple and can be integrated into existing health systems without requiring large computing resources. Further research is recommended to compare the performance of KNN with other machine learning methods such as Support Vector Machine(SVM) and Random Forest to identify the best method in this context. The use of larger and more diverse data is also expected to increase the accuracy and generalization of the model in various clinical conditions.

Abstract

Situbondo Inspectorate. Internship Report, Information Technology Study Program, Ibrahimy University. Supervisor: Ahmad Homaidi, M.Kom.The employee evaluation aims to provide recognition to the best employees in the form of consideration for promotion through a ranking process of employee performance. However, there is still no decision support application or system for the evaluation of the best employees. To address this problem, the author applied the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods with predetermined criteria, namely responsibility, communication skills, initiative, attendance, working age, and attitude. The AHP method is used to determine the weight of each criterion, while the SAW method is applied to determine the best employees by generating alternative rankings. This research is expected to produce criterion weights and generate alternative rankings for selecting the best employees. The system provides useful information in determining the best employees and facilitates the evaluation process. The reports generated by this system include decision result letters, decision result reports, employee evaluation reports, and employee ranking reports. Based on the User Acceptance Test, it can be concluded that users strongly agree with this decision support application and the implementation of the methods. This is evidenced by the 87.5% “strongly agree” result from the User Acceptance Test questionnaire. Keywords: Decision Support System, Best Employee, AHP, SAW.

Abstract

Video editing memegang peranan penting dalam membuat karya film. SMK IT Fathul Wahid Curah Kalak Jangkar Situbondo (SMK ITFW) memiliki jurusan DKV (Desain Komunikasi Visual) yang dalam pembelajaran memiliki tingkat kekurangan yaitu jumlah komputer yang ada tidak memadai untuk mendukung KBM (Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar). Maka, dengan diskusi yang intens ditemukanlah cara yaitu dengan menggunakan editing video dengan menggunakan Smartphone android milik para siswa dengan menginstalasi program aplikasi CupCat. Dengan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan dampak solutif menemukan hasil yang memuaskan, karena para siswa mampu melakukan editing video dengan baik yang menghasilkan beberapa film. Bentuk kelebihan dari penggunaan Smartphone android dalam melakukang editing video yaitu para siswa dapat mandiri dan mampu melakukan editing yang tidak terbatas waktu dan lokasi. Hal positif lainnya, para siswa dapat terlepas dari ketergantungan dari komputer yang dimiliki sekolah. Pada tahap pengembangan, para siswa dimotivasi untuk terus berkarya dan mengevaluasi dari film-film yang telah dihasilkan. Kata Kunci: CapCut, video editing, konten, film, Smartphone

Abstract

Attendance recording and payroll management are important elements in maintaining discipline and operational efficiency in madrasahs. Currently, Madrasah Aliyah As'adiyah Meneng Ketapang uses a manual system based on attendance sheets and spreadsheets, which are prone to errors and data manipulation. To address this issue, this study designed and developed a geolocation-based attendance and payroll information system accessible via mobile and web platforms. Key features include location validation within a 20-meter radius, selfie photo verification, fake GPS detection, and automatic payroll calculation based on attendance and teaching hours. The system was developed using the Waterfall model through field observations, interviews, and literature reviews. Evaluation using Blackbox Testing involving actual users showed that all system functions operated as expected, with no significant errors identified. This system improves accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in the attendance and payroll processes. However, this research is limited to small-scale madrasahs and Android-based platforms. Future development should include better fraud detection methods and integration with broader academic management systems to enhance scalability and functionality.

Abstract

Mental health is an important aspect that affects an individual's life, impacting productivity, social relationships and overall quality of life. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that one in four people worldwide will face mental health challenges. With the increasing incidence of conditions such as depression and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), effective detection and intervention methods are urgently needed. Data mining, specifically using Decision Tree algorithms, presents a promising approach to address this challenge. This study utilizes a quantitative methodology to classify depression and CFS patients using a public dataset. The data collection from Kaggle included variables such as demographics and clinical evaluations, consisting of 1,000 records and 15 predictive attributes. Data preprocessing addressed noise, specifically missing values, to ensure model accuracy above 80%. A Decision Tree was implemented, displaying the interpretability of the method by partitioning the data based on the selected attributes. Evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score showed accuracy of 99% and precision and recall of 100%. The results emphasize the potential of the Decision Tree in distinguishing between depression and CFS, enabling early intervention through accurate patient identification. This study advocates the integration of such machine learning models into clinical practice to improve mental health diagnostics and management, by addressing an important aspect of public health.

Abstract

Credit card fraud is a serious problem in the financial industry that continues to increase with the development of digital transaction technology. This study aims to compare the performance of the K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) and Naive Bayes algorithms in detecting credit card fraud by considering various evaluation metrics evaluation metrics, including not only accuracy but also precision, recall, and F1-score. The dataset used was sourced from Kaggle, comprising a total of 10,000 transaction records, which included financial transaction attributes and user behaviour. The research process included data pre-processing, attribute selection, data normalisation, and the application of both algorithms using RapidMiner software. The test results showed that the KNN algorithm produced an accuracy of 98.43%, a precision of 98.53%, and a recall of 99.90%, while Naive Bayes obtained an accuracy 98.20% accuracy, 99.69% precision, and 98.48% recall. Although KNN showed slightly superior performance in detecting fraudulent transactions, the T-Test statistical test showed that the difference in performance between the two algorithms was not statistically significant. KNN has an advantage in recognising complex patterns, but requires greater computational time, while Naive Bayes is more efficient in terms of speed. This study concludes that the selection of a fraud detection algorithm needs to consider the trade-off between accuracy and computational efficiency according to system requirements.

Abstract

AMIK Ibrahimy has fieldwork courses every semester 4. This course is conducted to support the value of students and also becomes a requirement to participate in the Final Project. This practice is carried out by distributing participants to practices to several agencies determined by the committee. After that, the committee will also schedule an exam for the participants. However, in carrying out the field work practices, the committee needs a long time in the registration process to assess, this occurs because there is no specific information system designed according to the SOP that can help the committee. Based on some of the problems experienced, then to help minimize these problems, it is necessary to design a Reconstruction Information System Field Work in the hope that it can help expedite processing in the process of practices that have been quite time-consuming. This system is made using the waterfall method with several steps carried out starting from the Requirement to Maintenance. The results of this study are expected to help facilitate the process of fieldwork. The test results show that the system reconstruction results are in accordance with the requirements and can help minimize the problems that occur.

Abstract

Proses pengusulan dan pelaksanaan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat di Universitas Ibrahimy yang masih menggunakan model konvensional. Bahkan, sulit ditemukan dokumentasi pelaksanaan serta hasil penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian dengan judul aplikasi pengusulan dan pemantauan pelaksanaan penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat Universitas Ibrahimy. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall, sebagai salah satu metode dalam pengembangan sistem. Proses penerapan metode ini menerapkan kaidah-kaidah System Development Life Cycle. Penerapan metode ini dilakukan secara sistematis mulai dari tahap communication, planning, modelling, construction dan deployment, sehingga aplikasi yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat terorganisir dengan baik, karena proses pengusulan dan penilaian dapat dilakukan melalui sistem, serta seluruh data dapat terdata dengan baik dan segala berkas yang dibutuhkan sudah tersedia di aplikasi. Namun masih diperlukan perbaikan standar operasional prosedur dalam beberapa proses bisnis yang dilakukan, sehingga seluruh proses bisnis dapat dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi yang online, sehingga dapat menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien.
