Abstract

Speaking was a skill to give expretion, statetement, and convey thoughts, ideas, and feels by pronouncing articulation sounds or words. Speaking skills need to be trained from and early age, because speaking skills are very important for children so that they are easy to speak regularly and skillfully in the future, because speaking is one of the main communication tools. This research purpose to shown the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the teacher's role in developing children's speaking skills at Kindergarten Pembina 01 Air Haji, Linggo Sari Baganti District, Pesisir Selatan District. In the research used a method of qualitative with a approach in descriptive. This research uses techniques for data collection in shape of of observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique for data analysis was conducted by data collected, data reduced, data presented and make conclusions. According on the research result that has been conducted, it is said that the lesson plan in developing children's speaking skills is planned from the teacher in accordance with the RPPH and also the teacher uses the question and answer method, storytelling method, singing in developing children's speaking skills. The media used by the teacher is picture media, hand puppet media with fun learning strategies for children. And also the evaluation was conducted by the teacher to look development aspect in children regarding the level of children's speaking skills development.

Abstract

The success of Indonesia's health development is inseparable from the active participation of the community. One of the community-based health efforts that has been developed is the the elderly health care center . The level of cadres' ability in managing the health care for the elderly greatly influences the effectiveness of the health care, it is necessary to hold cadre training to improve the capabilities of the elderly Posyandu cadres. The results of interviews with the Community Service Team stated that the elderly health care are already running but are felt to be less than optimal, due to the small number of health care cadres and the limited knowledge of cadres. Service methods used for cadre training are lectures, role play, demonstrations as well as mentoring as well as monitoring and evaluation. The material provided was 6 material with activities carried out on June 2019 - September 2019 for 5 days in  RW 01 of Ulak Karang Selatan Village. After the training activities were carried out there was an increase in the average knowledge that is with an average of 86.3 and an increase in cadre skills with an average of 85.1 after the cadre training activities were carried out.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of children's lack of speaking skills which have not yet developed optimally. There are various ways that can be done to develop children's speaking skills through telling stories using media that can attract children's attention, such as using pop-up book media using test and observation data collection techniques. The aim of this research is to find out how effective the use of pop-up book media is on children's speaking skills. This research uses quasi-experiment as a quantitative method. The population of this study was all children in the Pembina Padang State Kindergarten, while the sample was 14 children in each class B1 and B2. The average pre-test score of the experimental group was 9.57 and the average post-test score was 19.07. The average pre-test score for the control group was 10.50, while the average post-test score was 15.00. The final data set from the effect size test shows a value of d > 1.00, with a value of d=14.42 which is classified as strong, which means that the use of story-based pop-up book media is effective in improving the speaking skills of young children.

Abstract

Abstract: Early reading proficiency is a crucial foundation for the advancement of early childhood literacy, necessitating suitable and engaging educational resources.  This study seeks to evaluate the efficacy of flannel board media on the early reading skills of children at Bhayangkari 05 Painan Kindergarten.  The research employed a quantitative method using a quasi-experimental design.  The study population comprised all 41 children at Bhayangkari 05 Painan Kindergarten, with a sample of 20 children selected by purposive selection approaches, including 10 children in the experimental group and 10 children in the control group.  The research instrument comprised an oral assessment featuring indicators for identifying starting letters, differentiating vowel and consonant sounds, associating images with words, and demonstrating fluent reading skills.  The data analysis employed a normality test, a homogeneity test, and a hypothesis test utilising a t-test via the SPSS 26 software.  The findings indicated that flannel board media significantly influenced children's early reading skills, with a significance value of 0.022 (p < 0.05).  The experimental group exhibited an average increase from 11.80 to 15.50 (a difference of 3.70), whereas the control group demonstrated a mere gain from 11.20 to 12.50 (a difference of 1.30).  Flannel board media, as a visual and tactile resource, has demonstrated efficacy in enhancing early reading skills in children, aligning with the developmental learning features of early infancy.Keywords: Flannel Board Media, Early Reading, Early Childhood, Early Literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pada keterampilan motorik halus yang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa Pengaruh Maze Zoo Terhadap Keterampilan Motorik Halus Anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Harapan Kita Pesisir Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental design (nondesigns). Subjek penelitian ini anak yaitu kelas B2 yang berjumlah 15 anak didik yang terdiri dari 8 orang anak laki-laki dan 7 orang anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu tes perbuatan yang disusun dalam bentuk tes perbuatan untuk mengetahui keterampilan motorik halus anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan motorik halus anak di kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan media Maze Zoo memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dibanding sebelumnya yang menggunakan media maze Lka terhadap keterampilan motorik halus pada anak, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil data yang di analisis pada sebelum diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media maze zoo rata-rata nilai yang dadapatkan adalah 16,13 kemudian diberikan perlakuan treatment dengan diprolehnya rata-rata 17,77. Kemudian dilakukan test akhir (posttest) yang menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukannya analisis mengalami kenaikan dan peningkatan rata-rata yaitu 21,07, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan anak dalam penelitian ini memproleh hasil peningkatan dari yang sebelum dan yang sesudah dilakukannya perlakuan. Maka dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Maze Zoo memiliki pengaruh terhadap keterampilan motorik halus pada anak di TK Harapan Kita Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca awal merupakan fondasi penting dalam perkembangan literasi anak usia dini. Namun di Indonesia penguasaan kosakata sebagai komponen utama membaca awal masih rendah, serta keterbatasan bahan ajar yang menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan flashcard interaktif terhadap kemampuan membaca awal anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Alquran Matur. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimental. Sebanyak 30 anak TK Alquran Matur menjadi populasi. Lima belas anak diambil dari kelas B1 dan B2 yang dipilih  melalui total sampling. Pengumpulan data memakai lembar observasi, data dianalisis dengan memakai uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, dengan rata-rata post-test eksperimen sebesar 17,53 dan kontrol 12,93, nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 < 0,05, maka Ha di terima dan H0 di tolak. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang interaktif, yakni flashcard yang dirancang menggunakan aplikasi Canva yang dilengkapi warna dan suara, sehingga mampu meningkatkan partisipasi anak dalam kegiatan belajar. Dengan demikian, flashcard interaktif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan membaca awal anak terutama dalam pengusaan kosakata yang menunjukkan penilaian baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan masalah rendahnya literasi di Indonesia. Kurang efektifnya pengajaran dan kurangnya antusias anak untuk belajar literasi menunjukkan masalah dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh metode shared book reading terhadap emergen literasi anak. Pendekatan kuantitatif berdasarkan desain kuasi-eksperimental digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh anak TK Negeri Pembina Padang Pariaman. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 32 anak dari kelas B1 dan B4. Observasi, tes perbuatan, dan dokumentasi adalah metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Normalitas, homogenitas, dan pengujian hipotesis adalah beberapa uji statistik yang digunakan dalam analisis data. Temuan analisis data dikumpulkan sebelum uji-t dilakukan. Dari hasil temuan uji-t tingkat signifikansi (2-tailed) adalah 0,008 < 0,05. Temuan penelitian Ha diterima sementara H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode shared book reading lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan emergen literasi anak yang sedang berkembang. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan emergen literasi anak.

Abstract

Pengembangan Anak Usia Dini Holistik Integratif meliputi pelayanan gizi, pelayanan kesehatan, pelayanan pendidikan, pelayanan pengasuhan, dan pelayanan perlindungan. Pengembangan pendidikan anak usia dini holistik integratif direncanakan dan diterapkan secara sistematis di satuan PAUD untuk mengoptimalkan potensi tumbuh kembang anak secara optimal agar kelak menjadi anak yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing di masa depan. Permasalahan pada pengabdian ini belum adanya Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini rintisan di Desa Apar serta layanan posyandu belum terintegrasi dengan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Holistik Integratif. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, seminar dan pendampingan. Waktu pelaksanaan pada bulan Juni-November 2022. Sasaran Pengabdian yaitu orangtua, anak usia 3-4 tahun, guru dan kader posyandu. Hasil pengabdian sudah terlaksananya pendampingan PAUD HI di Desa Apar.
