Abstract

A zoo is a place to live or collect wild animals outside their natural habitat which can be controlled by the government or non-government, and functions as a breeding ground so that natural genetics is maintained. Apart from being a place of conservation, it is also a place of education and a place of recreation. The problem with zoos in Indonesia is that their management is not by the principles of animal welfare. This study aims to summarize the results of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by collecting reference articles related to the keyword "Implementation of Zoo Management Strategies based on Animal Welfare Standards". Management efforts must pay attention to the survival of animals by the principles of animal welfare, namely freedom from hunger and thirst; free from pain, injury, and disease; free from environmental discomfort, abuse, and violence; freedom from fear and depression; and free in expressing natural behavior. Pay attention to zoo management, both animals and officers or keepers according to their expertise. Strategy implementation using SWOT analysis, namely analysis that obtains useful strategies to implement or recommendations based on results that can maximize Strengths and Opportunities, by minimizing Weaknesses and avoiding Threats.

Abstract

Human activity is a major factor in the decline of primate biodiversity, including long-tailed macaques, which thrive in varied habitats, even near human settlements. This overlap can lead to conflicts for both humans and macaques. The objective of this study is to determine the distribution of long-tailed macaques through direct observation and potential distribution based on habitat suitability modelling using MaxEnt. Six environmental variables were selected based on the ecological traits of long-tailed macaques, including forest cover, population density, distance to roads, distance to forests, distance to conservation areas, and land use type. Moreover, 32 coordinate points were identified in Padang for locating long-tailed macaque and modelled using MaxEnt. The results indicate that long-tailed macaques are primarily distributed in areas with forest cover but are close to anthropogenic activities. The modelling reveals that the habitat suitability for this species in Padang tends to be low to moderate. The environmental variables that exert the most significant influence on their distribution are distance to roads and forest cover (53.3% and 20.1% respectively). Consequently, areas with a higher potential of habitat suitability required particular attention to manage conflicts and populations to avoid potential negative impacts that could arise.

Abstract

Learning concentration disorders are a fairly common problem in elementary schools and can have a significant impact on students' academic performance. At UPTD SDN 015861 Bunut Seberang, initial observations indicate that around 20–25% of students experience symptoms such as distractibility, difficulty focusing, hyperactivity, and decreased motivation to learn. Current interventions are limited, lack a structured system, and rely on teachers' subjective assessments. This study aims to develop an expert system based on the Certainty Factor method to detect learning concentration disorders more objectively and accurately. The research method uses a quantitative approach with stages of problem identification, data collection through observation and interviews, analysis, system design using UML, and implementation based on PHP and MySQL. The system processes student symptom data, calculates the confidence level of the diagnosis, and provides follow-up recommendations for teachers and parents. The implementation results show that the system can efficiently identify potential learning concentration disorders, assist teachers in decision-making, and serve as a model that can be adapted by other schools facing similar issues.

Abstract

Abstract: Community service is part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which emphasizes the importance of academic contributions in empowering the community. In the rapidly evolving technological era today, one of the main solutions to reduce the digital divide in society is through education and assistance related to the use of information technology. Therefore, this activity raises the theme 'Introduction to Designing Information Technology Systems Based on the Inspiration of God's Works in Designing the Universe'. Community service is part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which emphasizes the importance of academic contributions in empowering the community. In the era of rapidly advancing technology today, one of the main solutions to reduce the digital divide in society is through education and assistance related to the use of information technology. Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) in Gandasoli Village, Cikakak Subdistrict, began with field observations to identify priority issues faced by the community. The observations revealed that the main problem was waste management, particularly the practice of open burning, which produced thick smoke, polluted the air, and posed health risks. As a solution, the CSL students developed an innovation in the form of a low-smoke waste incineration technology (Insema) using used oil drums as simple incinerators. This program was designed, implemented, and evaluated independently by the CSL students based on the results of their field observations. The results of the experiment showed that this low-smoke incinerator could reduce thick smoke compared to conventional waste incineration. This work program demonstrates the potential of appropriate technology in supporting more environmentally friendly waste management, reducing health risks to the community, and providing sustainable alternative solutions that can be applied in rural areas

Abstract

Data Smeru Research Institute jika diuraikan lebih lanjut presentase tingkat penganggur di Indonesia yang berusia muda atau usia siap bekerja lebih banyak daripada jumlah penganggur di usia muda di dunia. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah masih rendahnya soft skill atau keahlian yang dimiliki oleh calon tenaga kerja di usia muda siap bekerja tersebut. Metode pengabdian terdiri dari 3 tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap penyampaian sosialisasi dan materi pengabdian, serta tanya jawab dengan mahasiswa baru. Sosialisasi ini sebagai wadah untuk memberi gambaran, pemahaman dan melatih 20 soft skill yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa Teknik Pertambangan Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa seperti meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi, integritas yang baik, kemampuan bekerjasama, etos kerja yang baik, memiliki motivasi yang baik, kemampuan beradaptasi, kemampuan analitik, kemampuan software pertambangan, kemampuan berorganisasi, berorientasi kepada hal yang detail, kemampuan memimpin, kepercayaan diri yang baik, berkepribadian yang ramah, sopan, bijaksana, indek prestasi yang memuaskan, kreatif, humoris, dan kemampuan berwirausaha bagi mahasiswa baru sampai dengan lulus sarjana S-1 sebagai sebagai dasar untuk mencapai kesuksesan dalam bekerja di industri pertambangan, industri di luar pertambangan, maupun akan menjadi Dosen Teknik Pertambangan kedepannya.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dalam pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkat pemahaman konsep dasar teknik eksplorasi di lapangan bagi asisten praktikum dan mahasiswa, dikarenakan praktikum teknik eksplorasi sangat penting bagi mahasiswa teknik pertambangan, jika asisten telah mampu menguasai konsep dasar teknik eksplorasi maka dapat membantu dosen dalam mengajar dipraktikum sehingga berjalan dengan baik, terarah, sesuai harapan, dan seluruh mahasiswa mampu melakukan serta menerapkan konsep dasar teknik ekslorasi di indutri pertambangan mineral, Batubara dan batuan setelah lulus S1 Teknik Pertambangan. Pembelajaran dan pelatihan Mata Kuliah Teknik Eksplorasi sebagai mata kuliah Wajib di Kurikulum Program Studi Teknik Pertambangan Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa sangat penting. Pemahaman konsep dasar teknik eksplorasi bagi asisten praktikum dan mahasiswa Teknik Pertambangan Angkatan 2022 sangat meningkat, mampu menguasai konsep dasar dan terarah setelah dilakukan pelatihan di lapangan dan ujian tertulis di laboratorium. Hal tersebut terbukti setelah pelatihan di lapangan para asisten mampu membantu dosen dalam menjelaskan dan tata cara eksplorasi kepada seluruh mahasiswa Teknik Pertambangan yang ikut serta pada saat praktikum teknik eksplorasi di Desa Lape, Desa Lopok dan Desa Pemasar. Meningkatnya pemahaman konsep dasar serta penerapan di lapangan ini menjadi bekal mahasiswa Teknik Pertambangan dalam bekerja di industri pertambangan terkhususnya di bidang eksplorasi mineral, Batubara dan batuan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the Effect of Service Quality of PatientSatisfaction At The Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr. Mohamad Saleh City of Probolinggo. The study type utilized in this article is a quantitative approach, which tries to test hypotheses about the cause-and-effect relationships between the variables researched. A quantitative method is one that explains or describes something. In contrast, the quantitative method uses a survey approach for data collection. The survey is a quantitative study that is the same for many people. And then, the researcher records, processes, and analyzes all of the answers they get. A total of 100 patients were taken as samples for this study, and data collection was carried out using a questionnaire using the Likert scale given to patient respondents. The results of the analysis of this study can be shown that based on the results of the regression of service quality (X) of 33.037, it indicates It demonstrates that independent variables have no effect whatsoever on the evaluation findings for service quality. However, the Service Quality (Y) regression result of 0.362 shows a positive contribution made by Service Quality, indicating that a 1 point improvement in Service Quality will have a 0.362 point impact on Service Quality. In other words, the patient's pleasure rises as service quality improves.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine teacher competence and teacher professionalism commitment to organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) at SDN 3 Sungailiat. This research was conducted in a quantitative way. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The sample was taken through a survey. Data analysis was conducted through multiple linear regression analysis, t test analysis, f test analysis, and ditermination analysis. The results showed that teacher competence affects Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), as shown by the t-test value of 0.028, which is lower than the probability value of 0.05. Teachers' professional commitment also affects OCB, as shown by the t-test value of 0.000, which is lower than the probability value of 0.05.Teachers' competence and teachers' professional commitment, both X variables, make a considerable contribution, 78.6%. Other factors not examined in the study made a smaller contribution. The result is that teacher competence and commitment have a positive influence on OCB. The higher the competence and commitment of a teacher, the higher OCB they have. Suggestions for principals to continue to improve teachers' abilities and commitment to the school.

Abstract

YouTube is one of the leading platforms for personal branding and content monetization in the digital era. However, many creative individuals and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actors still lack optimal strategies for managing YouTube channels professionally. This community service program aimed to enhance participants' capacities in content production, channel management, audience engagement, and monetization strategies. The program involved 15 participants, with 80% showing significant improvement in technical understanding after training. A total of 5 YouTube channels were successfully optimized based on the training materials, with view counts increasing by 2–3 times within two weeks of implementation. A digital training module titled “Basic Video Production and YouTube Content Management for Beginners” was also developed and distributed. Additionally, the program targeted non-productive communities through training on digital literacy and responsible social media usage. Overall, this initiative effectively strengthened participants’ abilities to use YouTube as a platform for branding and sustainable income generation, while also supporting the advancement of technology based digital literacy.
