Abstract

The endeavor to enhance rice productivity in Tangerang district, nestled within the confines of Banten Province, has unfortunately not been paralleled by a corresponding improvement in the well-being of its agricultural community. Subjectively, prosperity is often perceived through the lens of familial harmony, while on an objective scale, it is defined by the fulfillment of fundamental human needs. This study sets out to meticulously examine the correlation between the characteristics of farmers and their managerial competencies on the welfare levels of farming households engaged in the cultivation of lowland rice. Specifically, the investigation is concentrated within the Sukamulya District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. The methodology embraced in this study is predominantly explanatory-descriptive, drawing insights from an amalgamation of primary and secondary data sources. The focal points of analysis encompass a triad of variables: farmer characteristics, managerial capacity, and farmer welfare. Leveraging Inferential Statistics, with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analytical framework, the research delves into the intricate interplay between these variables. The empirical findings unearth a direct correlation between farmer characteristics and their managerial prowess. Furthermore, it underscores the consequential impact of farmer characteristics, channeled through managerial capacity, on the overall welfare of farmers. The augmentation of household welfare within farming communities predominantly hinges upon the adept management of resources, proficient business acumen, strategic planning capabilities, organizational adeptness, and adaptive resilience demonstrated by farmers and their managerial capacities.

Abstract

The creation of this work is driven by the author’s profound interest in hornbills, particularly given the alarming rate of their extinction. The author’s objective is to convey the aesthetic significance of this animal to the broader community. The Sumatran hornbill, with its distinctive and striking characteristics, including its large beak, robust claws, and vibrant plumage, serves as the subject matter for this study. Through the meticulous application of acrylic paint on canvas, the author has crafted twelve paintings that meticulously capture the physical attributes of the bird and its natural habitat. Furthermore, these paintings depict the hornbill’s omnivorous lifestyle. The author employs a combination of three distinct techniques: plaque, chiaroscuro, and bravura. These techniques work synergistically to create a dynamic, contrasting, and vivacious portrayal of the hornbill within the paintings. The resulting twelve paintings, each bearing a unique title that reflects the author’s interpretation of the hornbill, provide an in-depth understanding of its physical characteristics, habitat, and behavior. Additionally, these works contribute to the advancement of the art form through the author’s unique perspective and creative expression.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan investasi usaha tani hidroponik di Kota Serang dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tiga usaha tani hidroponik dipilih sebagai objek penelitian yaitu Allisa Farm, Raico Farm, dan Graha Hidroponik Center. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), dan Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio) serta sensitivitas usaha tani hidroponik terhadap perubahan suku bunga bank dan harga jual komoditas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga usaha hidroponik yang dianalisis tidak layak untuk diinvestasikan karena memiliki nilai NPV negatif, IRR lebih rendah dari tingkat diskonto yang diterapkan, namun layak secara ekonomi karena R/C Ratio lebih besar dari 1, dan hasil analisis Payback Period menunjukkan hanya Allisa dan Graha Hidroponik Center yang layak, serta usaha pertanian hidroponik di Kota Serang tidak sensitif terhadap perubahan suku bunga dan harga jual. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi seseorang yang ingin memulai usaha pertanian hidroponik di Kota Serang. Sehingga dapat menghindari ketidakefektifan dalam usaha pertanian hidroponiknya.

Abstract

Di Indonesia tie-dye disebut jumputan. Kain jumputan terkenal dan dikagumi banyak orang karena pada proses pengerjaannya murni hand made dan hasil motifnya unik. Batasan masalah penelitian ini adalah pengaruh penggunaan media tutorial terhadap minat belajar siswa pada materi ikat celup teknik jumputan siswa kelas V SDS Muhammadiyah 6 Medan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui minat belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis video tutorial dalam ikat celup teknik jumputan, dan mendeskripsikan hasil pembelajaran menggunakan video tutorial siswa kelas V SDS Muhammadiyah 6 Medan. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah Research and Development (R&D). Subjek penelitian yang digunakan peneliti yaitu Probability Sampling dengan tujuan peneliti mengambil keputusan yang menjadi perhatian penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDS Muhammadiyah 06 Medan pada kelompok kecil berjumlah 18 orang. Dari hasil keseluruhan karya siswa diatas, terdapat perbedaan antara karya sebelum dan sesudah adanya media pembelajaran ikat celup teknik jumputan yaitu yang paling menonjol dari intensitas warna, yang mana warna yang dicelupkan kurang meresap dengan baik dikarenakan dalam proses pewarnaanya peserta didik menggunakan air biasa sehingga warnya yang dihasilkan kurang pekat masih terdapat bercak–bercak putih pada kain. Pembuatan video tutorial ikat celup teknik jumputan siswa kelas V SDS Muhammadiyah 6 Medan dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Penggunaan video tutorial dalam pembelajaran ikat celup teknik jumputan dianggap sebagai metode yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa, juga membantu guru dalam memberikan pemahaman secara audio visual dalam proses belajar mengajar.

Abstract

This research was conducted to produce an advertising video concept that is attractive, creative and economically valuable. This research is based on the desire to produce a creative and innovative product that can be applied as a promotional medium that can be useful for building the economic activities of the Medan City UMKM group. This research aims to produce a method for producing video advertisements for UMKM products as branding media for Medan City UMKM. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. The process of searching for data and information was carried out using in-depth interviews with videography experts, Medan city UMKM, and Medan city UMKM product consumers as informants. Apart from that, literacy studies were also carried out such as journals, newspapers, magazines and other materials containing information about branding and UMKM. The research results concluded that in introducing and promoting a product or brand, the use of promotional videos could be an option. Publication of Medan City UMKM products through advertising video media can be done as an effort to increase brand awareness. Promotional videos are able to convey messages well so that they get the desired response.

Abstract

This Community Service Program has been implemented well. Partners of this activity are Artiar Bakkery, Pintusona Village and Martauli Elisabet Household Business in Pinsona Village, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this PKM is to solve several problems faced by partners. In this service activity the implementation team tries to create a creative and innovative idea to provide added value to the cassava chip household business through improving product quality, namely by providing counseling and training on the application of science and technology. One of them is by changing the way of production by using modern equipment so that production capacity increases. Marketing of cassava chips with safe and attractive packaging so as to increase the selling price and expand the marketing area through online marketing. With this PKM activity it can improve partners' lives financially and partner products can be accepted in the market so that they can compete with similar products in the market.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate teaching materials in the form of printed books and e-books for the Ornamen Nusantara course, focusing on the ornamental design of the Hulu Keris Melayu Tumbuk Lada. The development process employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results indicate that the teaching materials are valid (78,75%), practical (82,15%), and effective (88,53%). Their use has been shown to enhance students’ understanding of traditional ornamental richness; particularly the Melayu Tumbuk Lada ornament; and to encourage the preservation of local cultural values. More broadly, the findings contribute to strengthening cultural identity in art education and support the development of creative industries based on cultural heritage.

Abstract

Opinion LKPD Lampung still has not received a unqualified  opinion in the 2015-2021 fiscal year period. The aim of the research is to test and analyze the influence of regional government size and level of efficiency on local financial statement opinions in the Lampung Regional Government.The observation population of the population in this study is all local governments in Lampung Province, there are 16 regional governments (districts and cities). The research uses secondary data, explanatory descriptive research using binary logistic regression analysis tools. The research period is from 2015 to 2021. The results of testing the first hypothesis show that regional government size has a positive effect on local financial statement opinion, meaning the hypothesis is accepted. The second hypothesis of the level of efficiency shows a negative influence, thus the hypothesis is rejected. Even though the size of the regional government is not large in terms of asset value, it does not necessarily mean that the local financial statement will not receive a unqualified opinion. the results of measuring the level of regional government efficiency concluded that it was not efficient, it does not necessarily mean that the local financial statement did not get a unqualifie opinion.

Abstract

The results of the research are that the main strength factor is having agricultural land land that is very adequate for developing entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector. The main weakness factor is that many people have not participated in training to develop business management skills. The main opportunity factor is the government's increasingly serious efforts to increase the number of entrepreneurs, both in the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors. And the main threat is the free flow of trade which causes losses if people are unable to compete. The strategy for developing an entrepreneurial spirit is a progressive strategy, which means the community is strong and has the opportunity to develop an entrepreneurial spirit. And the most priority strategy is to encourage Human Resources who have the potential to have educational knowledge, skills and attitudes.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the health problems that is still prevalent in Indonesia. The problem of stunting is a concern for all government officials, from ministries to village heads. Regional Partnership Service Partners (PKW): Head of Pagar Jati Village and Village Midwife. The problem faced by the Head of Pagar Jati Village is that toddlers are categorized as stunting. The objectives of PKW: (1) to conduct socialization of stunting prevention, utilization of local food and understanding of nutrition; (2) training and assistance in preparing healthy and hygienic menus from local food sources, as well as practicing processing local food for family menus. The method of implementing PKW is through: socialization, training, and assistance. The results of the activity show that the community empowerment strategy through the DASHAT program has been implemented in accordance with the empowerment concept by the Unimed PKW team. It is hoped that mothers will have strong motivation in meeting toddler nutrition and improving mothers' attitudes and actions in providing balanced nutrition to stunted toddlers. So that Pagar Jati Village, Lubuk Pakam District, Deli Serdang Regency can be free from Stunting.
