Abstract

This study aims was describing students' mathematical literacy abilities based on mathematical habits of mind after being given Quick on the Draw learning with the SPUR approach. This research was a qualitative research. Subject of the research were students of class VII SMP Negeri 5 Borong. The results of the study show that (1) Quick on the Draw model with quality SPUR approach in improving students' mathematical literacy skills (2) Students with high mathematical habits of mind had excellent mathematical literacy skills, namely students were very capable of mastering the components of communication, mathematics, reasoning and argument, as well as formulating and solving problems. Students with mathematical habits of mind were showing good mathematical literacy skills. Students were able to master the components of communication, mathematics, and formulate and solve problems. Meanwhile, those that had not been mastering well are representation, reasoning and arguments, and the use of symbols, formal language, techniques, and operations. Students with low mathematical habits of mind show that literacy skills were still not good. Students only master the communication component well enough. Meanwhile, the other components had not been mastering properly.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is the ability to solve mathematical problems and is one of the abilities that students must have in order to be skilled in working on math problems. There are factors that support student success in solving problems, including self-efficacy. This study aims to describe the problem solving abilities of students who have high, moderate, high self-efficacy and low seen from the dimensions of magnitude, strength, and generality in mathematics learning with the MMP model with the MiC approach with local cultural nuances.. This research uses a mixed method research type with a concurrent embedded design. Based on the three stages of learning quality, MMP learning with the MiC approach to local culture nuances is quality learning. In the problem solving aspect, students with high self-efficacy were able to understand problems, plan problem solving, implement problem solving plans, and re-examine them with true and complete. Students with moderate self-efficacy are able to understand problems, plan problem solving, but are less able to carry out problem-solving plans and re-check. Students with low self-efficacy are able to understand problems and plan problem solving correctly but incomplete, inadequate in implementing problem-solving plans, and in rechecking, unable to use other methods.

Abstract

Berdasarkan model terbaik tersebut diperoleh hasil peramalan volatilitas saham sebesar 0,07629 dan apabila dana yang dialokasikan oleh investor saham sebesar Rp 200.000.000, 00 maka nilai VaR yang diperoleh sebesar Rp 85.615.826,00.GARCH-M is an expansion of the GARCH model that entered conditional variance into the mean equation. ARIMAX - GARCH is combination of ARIMAX model and GARCH model. Both models can be used to solve the problem of heteroscedasticity on data. The purpose of this research was to find the best model for forecasting of the risk of investing in stocks. The method of this research was problem formulation, data collection, data processing and analysis, and conclusions. In the analysis and discussion include descriptive statistics, stationary test, estimate and determine the best models of both models, comparison of both models, and stock volatility forecasting. The results of this research obtained the best model for forecasting of stock volatility is GARCH (1,1) - M with MAPE value = 118.0299 smaller than MAPE value of ARIMAX (2,1,2) - GARCH (1,1) = 191, 3115. Based on the best model is obtained forecasting of stock volatility is 0.07629 and if the fund allocated by investors are Rp 200,000,000.00, so the value of VaR obtained Rp 85.615.826,00.

Abstract

This research aims to discover mathematics learning on Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning assisted by effective problem cards on students' mathematical connection abilities, describing students' mathematical connection skills based on responsibility for TSTS learning and describing students' responsibilities in TSTS learning. The method used in this research is a mixed method. The population in this research were students of class VII A - VII B on one of junior high schools in Semarang, based on random sampling technique, it was selected that class VII A as the experimental class and class VII B as the control class. The results of the research show that; Students 'mathematical connection ability by using the TSTS model can reach KKM (minimum criteria of mastery learning) and classical completeness, the mathematical connection ability of students by using TSTS learning is better than students' mathematical connection skills by using expository learning. (3) Subjects with high responsibility were able to achieve three indicators of mathematical connection ability well, subjects with moderate responsibility have differences in achieving mathematical connection indicators, subjects with low responsibility were able to achieve one of mathematical connection indicator.
