Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of GRDP, HDI, Economic Growth, and Unemployment Rate on poverty levels in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The method used the Random Effect Model as the selected model through a series of model selection tests and classical assumption tests. Regression results using the selected model show that of the four variables that cause poverty rates, only the HDI variable negatively and significantly affects poverty rates. Meanwhile, the other three variables (GRDP, economic growth, and unemployment rate) do not significantly affect poverty. The result suggests that the West Nusa Tenggara government should increase the HDI through stimulus programs in terms of education and health to provide more human resources, create more jobs for the lower and middle class to overcome unemployment and reduce poverty level, and expand the scope of GRDP and development in the economic structure sector to reduce the poverty level.  Keywords:GRDP, HDI, panel data, random effects models

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine e-marketing strategies for tourist destinations in East Lombok, especially the Sembalun tourist attraction. The research method used is qualitative research using primary data obtained through observation and interviews. Data analysis using SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that there are several weaknesses in Sembalun tourism, namely that e-marketing is not maximized because the majority of management is still personal. Strengthening e-marketing needs to be improved where this tour has a good opportunity to be visited by tourists again through digital promotional activities. Strengthening this e-marketing strategy can be done by training human resources who are actors in the tourism sector so that they can utilize social media and online platforms in creating promotional content to expand the reach of promotions to people in various regions. Promotions carried out on social media are the most effective alternative to implement because of the speed and ease of delivering information. It can be concluded from this research that in increasing tourist visits, the e-marketing strategy is an appropriate alternative to be implemented and understood by Sembalun tourism managers.

Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses a community service program carried out in Penujak Village, Central Lombok, focusing on strengthening regeneration and innovation in the development of the pottery tourism village. The main problems faced include the declining interest of the younger generation in pottery, limited product innovation, and weak marketing strategies. The objectives of this program are to increase youth involvement, enhance creativity and product innovation, and expand the promotional reach of the pottery tourism village. The methods implemented include pottery socialization in schools, a Pottery Intensive Class (PIC), pottery painting competitions and art exhibitions as part of the Pottery Art Festival, website redevelopment, and the installation of cultural signboards. The results show a 78% increase in the interest of Penujak’s younger generation to try pottery-making, the establishment of digital promotional media, and the creation of broader interactions between artisans and tourists. In conclusion, this program not only contributes to the preservation of local traditions and cultural identity but also strengthens Penujak Village’s appeal as a culture-based tourism destination and opens opportunities for sustainable creative economy development within the community.
