Abstract

The low attitude of class XI Accounting at Prshanti Nilayam Vocational School in terms of association with the opposite sex needs special attention from the school. This can disrupt the development of students in terms of social relations and readiness to lead adult life. One effort that can be done is through counseling services provided by counselors at the school. In this study, modeling techniques were applied to intervene in students' attitudes in getting along with the opposite sex. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness of treatment through modeling techniques for students who have low opposite sex relationships. The sample in this study amounted to 22 students where it was determined by purposive random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is the t test. The results of the t test are known that the tcount> t table is 3.789> 2.073, so that it is known that there are differences in students' self-heterosexual scores before and after the treatment. Furthermore, the effectiveness test results are ES = 0.8 (Very High). So it can be concluded that modeling techniques are effective for developing attitudes with the opposite sex in students

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik permainan melebih-lebihkan dan teknik kursi kosong model konseling Gestalt terhadap ?self-order? siswa. Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, buku harian dan kuesioner ?self-order?. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif (t-test). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu kelompok eksperimen I menghasilkan = 151,33 < = 153,63 dimana t hitung = 1,823 > t tabel = 1,67. Kelompok eksperimen II menghasilkan = 143,08 < = 154,42 dimana t hitung = 3,358 > t tabel = 1,72. ?Treatmen? teknik kursi kosong dan teknik permainan melebih-lebihkan model konseling Gestalt didapatkan perbedaan = 10,25 > = 2,29, dimana t hitung = 3,842 > t tabel = 3,225 dan F = tidak homogen. Kelompok kontrol di?treatmen? dengan model konvensional menghasilkan = 141 > = 139,4, dimana t hitung = 2,285 > t tabel = 1,67. Kemudian ?treatmen? kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol didapatkan perbedaan = 4,74 > = -1,6 dimana t hitung = 3,80 > t tabel = 3,05 dan F = tidak homogen. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik permainan melebih-lebihkan model konseling Gestalt efektif terhadap ?self-order? siswa kelas X MIA 1, teknik kursi kosong model konseling Gestalt efektif terhadap ?self-order? siswa kelas X IB, terdapat perbedaan efektivitas teknik permainan melebih-lebihkan dengan teknik kursi kosong model konseling Gestalt terhadap ?self-order? siswa, terdapat perbedaan ?self-order? siswa kelas X MIA 5 antara skor ?pre-test? dan ?post-test?, dan terdapat perbedaan ?self-order? siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol.Kata Kunci : Model Konseling Gestalt, Teknik Permainan Melebih-lebihkan, Teknik Kursi Kosong, ?Self Order? Siswa This research is the ?quasi research? that purpose for know effectivenees ?the permainan melebih-lebihkan technique? and ?the kursi kosong technique? of the counseling Gestalt model toward the student?s ?self-order?. Proces of accumulation data in this research use the observation of paper, the interview of paper, the activity book and the ?self-order? kuesioner. Analysis Method of data that used is deskriptif kualitatif and deskriptif kuantitatif (t-test). The result of this reseach is the group of eksperiment I to result = 151,33 < = 153,63 with t hit = 1,823 > t tab = 1,67. The group of eksperiment II to result = 143,08 < = 154,42 with t hit = 3,358 > t tab = 1,72. ?Treatmen? of the kursi kosong technique and the permainan melebih-lebihkan technique of the counseling Gestalt model to result different = 10,25 > = 2,29, with t hit = 3,842 > t tab = 3,225 dan F = don?t homogen. The group of control is treatmened with konventional model to result = 141 > = 139,4, with t hit = 2,285 > t tab = 1,67. Next, the treatmen ini the group of eksperiment with the group of control is resulted to be differen = 4,74 > = -1,6 with t hit = 3,80 > t tab = 3,05 dan F = don?t homogen. So, the result of this reseach, can be conclusion namely the permainan melebih-lebihkan technique of counseling Gestalt model efektif toward the student?s ?self-order? class of X MIA 1, the kursi kosong technique of counseling Gestalt model efektif toward the student?s ?self-order? class of X IB, be found the difference efektivitas the permainan melebih-lebihkan technique with kursi kosong technique of counseling Gestalt model toward the student?s ?self-order?, be found the difference the student?s ?self-order? class of X MIA 5 between pre-test scor dan post-test scor, and be found the difference the student?s ?self-order? between the group of eksperiment with the group of control.keyword : Counseling Gestalt Model, Permainan Melebih-lebihkan Technique, Kursi Kosong Technique, Student?s ?Self Order?

Abstract

Social anxiety in adolescence can interfere with the development process. Detecting of social anxiety is very important to preventive strategy. Purpose of this study is knowing fit criteria of the SAS-A in the Indonesian version. SAS-A in Indonesian version is tool to detect social anxiety in Indonesian adolescence. This study used quantitative research. Total of participants is 172 with 74 male and 98 female. Data collected by excel in google form and was analysis using the CFA approach. CFA is used for evaluation and constructs validation of SAS-A in Indonesian version using Amos 20. The Results of this study is  SAS-A in Indonesian version after being analysis factor confirmatory, it known that fit of 11 item and 7 item have been removed because it is not fit to measure construct factor. These findings suggest that the Indonesia version of the SAS-A is a developmentally appropriate instrument that can be used to examine adolescent social anxiety development. Limitations and suggestions for future research are discussed

Abstract

Low student self-confident will affect to the his/her development process in school. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral group counseling to increase self-confident of vocational high school students. The research design is one group pre-test – post-test design. The population is student’s X grade class at SMK Prshanti Nilayam Kuta. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique, in order to get 8 students as the sample. The data analysis using t-test. The results of this study showed that self-confident score was an increase after join in the group counseling activities. The results of hypothesis testing show that the value of t = 7,434 with a significance of 0.000 (<0.05) so that null hypothesis is rejected. These results indicate that group counseling with cognitive behavioral approach is effective to increase self-confident of vocational high school students.

Abstract

Sexual harassment behavior by students is an international phenomenon. So that, this article presents and describes the role of school counsellor in handling the phenomenon of student’s sexual harassment behavior in the school environment. This article is expected to provide knowledge and insight to school counsellor to help student’s (client) achieve optimum overall development, especially the result of sexual harassment acts. Sexual harassment behavior can cause (victims) to experience physical and psychological disorders. This pattern of behavior is in the form of verbal, non-verbal and physical. The school counsellor strategy for dealing with this behavior namely collecting information, providing treatment in the form of counseling sevices for victims and choaching for the perpetrators, and conducting evaluation and follow-up. Furthermore, school counsellor strategy to prevent this behavior namely through basic services and create a good relationship with students. Through this article, it is hoped that the understanding of school counsellor on the student’s sexual harassment behavior and the handling efforts can be increased, so it will be able to provide maximum service to the students to achieve optimum development.

Abstract

REDUCING STUDENTS’ ANXIETY THROUGH COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL COUNSELING. Anxiety experienced by students at school can later affect their academic success at school. For this reason, this study tries to describe students' anxiety and efforts to reduce them through cognitive behavioral counseling. Anxiety in students can be interpreted as a condition that is full of worries and fears, feeling depressed, not calm, feeling guilty, feeling insecure and chaotic-minded accompanied by physical tension to certain situations. The characteristics of students who experience anxiety are divided into three parts, namely physical, behavioral and cognitive. The steps to reduce student anxiety through cognitive behavioral counseling are 1) identifying and knowing the level of student anxiety, 2) carrying out cognitive behavioral counseling, namely: initiating counseling, discussing content in the session, checking the events of the previous week, Core counseling , assigning tasks for the next meeting, and evaluating the session. Then, 3) Follow up. This article is expected to contribute as a scientific literature in the field of guidance and counseling, especially for school counselor in dealing with student anxiety through counseling services using a cognitive behavioral approach at school.

Abstract

Counseling methods with integrated information and communication technology in schools are interesting to discuss. Recently the conditions of the COVID-19 Pandemic have made all educational activities in schools online, and in Indonesia. We predict the use of information and communication technology in high school students to be easier to implement. Because they are more familiar with information and communication technology than students at the primary school level. This qualitative study aims to describe the experiences of students in secondary schools receiving online counseling. The semi-structured interviewed involved eight students, both chat messages and video call session by WhatsApp application. Participant of study are students has experience attending online group counseling via video conferencing. Data on the benefits of online group counseling, experiences in cyberspace, and barriers were analyzed thematically. The findings in this study explain that online group counseling has provided a solution, and some students feel it is precious to help. Their insight and self-help increase on the issues discussed. It was so convenient for them that some students expressed relationship school counselor with students-client. Network problems and smartphone overheating are obstacles. The implications of the results of this study as a reference for improving the implementation of online counseling.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) a description of learning burnout, (2) a description of displacement behavior, (3) the relationship between learning burnout and displacement behavior in BK FKIP Undana students. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population is students, amounting to 483 students. The sampling technique used proportional stratified random sampling so that a sample of 80 students. The data collection technique is a questionnaire. Data analysis, namely descriptive and correlation analysis techniques with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results of this study include: (1) a picture of burnout learning for BK FKIP Undana students, very high category of 1 student (1.25%), high category of 43 people students (53.75%), low category as many as 33 students (41.25%), very low category as many as 3 students (3.75%). (2) description of displacement behavior in BK FKIP Undana students, very high category of 1 student (1.25%), high category of 54 students (67.5%), low category of 25 students (31.25%) ), very low category of 0 students (0%). (3) there is a relationship between learning burnout and displacement behavior in BK FKIP Undana students, where r value is 0.404 > r table with a significance of 0.05 = 0.219.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of counseling teacher home visits in dealing with student delinquency and the factors that influence the implementation of home visits for counseling teachers in overcoming student delinquency at Tumu State Junior High School, Amanuban Tengah District. South Central Timor. This type of research is phenomenalogy with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is guidance counseling teachers while the object of this research is the implementation of home visits in overcoming student delinquency. The informants in this study were guidance counseling teachers, totaling 2 people. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used was narrative. The results showed that: the implementation of home visits for Counseling Teachers in overcoming student delinquency at Tumu State Junior High School, Central Amanuban District, South Central Timor Regency was carried out by 2 counseling guidance teachers. each counseling guidance teacher prepares everything needed to carry out home visits starting from planning, implementing, evaluating, and following up. Home visiting activities carried out must also be carried out in collaboration with other school parties such as: Principals, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, and so on.
