Abstract

The purpose of research is to analyze the relationship between leadership of manager with staff housekeeping performance in Daima Hotel Padang. This study is a descriptive correlational study. The population numbered 30 people of staff housekeeping department, Informant selection techniques in the study using sampling  jenuh technique for 30 people of staff housekeeping department,Data collection techniques with a structured questionnaire based on Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the survey results revealed the percentage of incoming leadership of manager overall categorized very good (60%), staff housekeeping performance in Daima Hotel Padang overall as good (57%).The results showed that there is a Positive and significant relationship between leadership of manager with staff housekeeping performance in Daima Hotel Padang, It means that the higher the leadership housekeeping manager the performance staff of housekeeping departement also good Keywords: Leadership and Performance

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of food quality on tourist satisfaction and to see its impact on tourist loyalty at Padang Beach Tourism Object. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with Path Analysis method. The population in this study is the number of tourists visiting the city of Padang in 2021 as many as 1,002,270. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling method and using the Slovin formula, obtained a sample of 99 samples. Data was collected using a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that: 1) Food Quality variable had a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction variables with a value of sig0.000<0.005 and an r-square value of 0.628 means that 62.8% of tourist satisfaction depends on the quality of food available at the Padang beach tourism object 2) The tourism variable has a positive and significant effect on the tourist loyalty variable with a value of sig0.000<0.005 , 3) The food quality variable has a positive and significant effect on the tourist loyalty variable with a sig value of 0.000 <0.005, 4) the food quality variable has no significant effect on the tourist loyalty variable.

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of Food and Service Quality on consumer satisfaction with Gofood application services in Padang. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with the Double Regression method. The population in this research is the population of the city Padang that has ever used Gofood applications. Sampling techniques are carried out using the purposeful method Sampling is carried out using the Limeshow formula this is because the total population is unknown the number of samples and is sampled by 97 samples, Data collection is carried out using a Likert scale that has tested its validity and reliability, Research results sho1) The food quality variable has a positive and significant effect on the consumer satisfaction variable with a sig0.011 value <0.05 and an r square value of 0.578 (57.8%) is obtained. The variation that occurs in high or low consumer satisfaction is due to variations in food quality and food quality. services while the rest (42.2%) is determined by other variables that have not been studied. 2) The service quality variable has a positive and significant effect on the sig value of 0.000<0.05, 3) The food quality and service quality variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the consumer satisfaction variable with a sig value of 0.000

Abstract

Seribu Gonjong Tourist Village (SARUGO) which is located in Jorong Sungai Dadok, Nagari Koto Tinggi, Gunung Omeh District, Limapuluh Kota, West Sumatra is one of 50 villages that was named the best tourist village by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy. This achievement cannot be separated from the role of Pokdarwis in managing natural and cultural tourism. The Minangkabau social system, which is known to uphold a sense of togetherness, has an impact in developing programs for independence and improving the community's economy through community empowerment. Empowerment is defined as an effort to fulfill the desired needs of individuals, groups and communities, in controlling their environment so that they can fulfill their desires, including accessibility to resources related to their work and developing the potential of local resources. Based on the description above, this research has the objectives of (1) To analyze the role of the Community Empowerment-based Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) in developing natural tourism potential in Seribu Gonjong Tourism Village. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The stages of this research method are (1) Preliminary study of the research location, (2) Collecting data and profile of the SARUGO tourist village, (3) Developing instruments, (4) Data collection, (5) Analysis of findings, (6) Triangulation data, (7) drawing conclusions, and (8) preparing articles

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak pendidikan keluarga dan asal sekolah pada pilihan jurusan mahasiswa, dengan motivasi belajar sebagai variabel perantara. Menggunakan metode korelasi dengan bantuan aplikasi Smart PLS 3.0, studi ini melibatkan 140 mahasiswa dari Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket yang berisi pernyataan dengan menggunakan skala likert. Temuan menunjukkan latar belakang keluarga tidak berpengaruh langsung pada pemilihan program studi, tetapi memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar. Di sisi lain, asal sekolah terbukti berpengaruh langsung baik terhadap pemilihan program studi maupun motivasi belajar. Selain itu, motivasi belajar juga berkontribusi secara langsung terhadap pilihan program studi. Dengan demikian, latar belakang pendidikan keluarga dan asal sekolah memengaruhi pemilihan program studi secara tidak langsung melalui motivasi belajar diperoleh nilai dengan nilai P value 0.000 dan t-statistik 3.835. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga untuk pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Salah satu sektor ekonomi yang muncul di Nagari Maninjau yang menjadikan Danau sebagai sumber mata pencaharian adalah bisnis kuliner berbahan baku ikan. Produk kuliner ini dapat dikembangkan sebagai produk unggulan daerah yang memiliki keunikan dari segi bahan baku lokal yang khas dari Danau Maninjau. Hal ini sejalan dengan program One Village One Product (OVOP), sebuah program pengembangan potensi di satu wilayah yang diprakarsai Kementerian Perindustrian Republik Indonesia. Namun, untuk mencapai usaha kuliner berstandar OVOP, masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang ditemui, seperti masalah fasilitas produksi yang masih terbatas, kurangnya modal serta pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku usaha kuliner UMKM untuk melakukan branding dan pemasaran yang luas. Program Pengembangan Nagari Binaan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk kuliner Nagari Maninjau melalui pembinaan industri kecil menengah menggunakan pendekatan OVOP demi mendorong pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat. Mitra yang terlibat dalam program ini adalah Pemerintah Nagari Maninjau dengan beberapa UMKM yang mewakili setiap jorong yaitu UMKM Tapian Maninjau, UMKM Dapur Mak Itam dan UMKM Salero Mandeh. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui pelatihan, pendampingan, dan pengadaan alat produksi. Hasil Kegiatan yang telah dicapai pada tahun pertama adalah: 1)Pengadaan freezer sebagai pendukung produksi; 2) Sebanyak 50 resep olahan telah dilatihkan dan distandarisasi, 3) Semua produk dalam proses pendaftaran sertifikasi halal; 4) Desain merek dan kemasan telah dibuat.

Abstract

The limited use of practicum tools in the laboratory is a problem in learning Computer Networks. In addition to the limited number, prices, and regulations also limit their use. Whereas Computer Network learning is very dependent on practicum tools. For this reason, this research aims to create an application that is able to present practicum tools whenever and wherever students want to learn Computer Networks. The application is called AR-JarKom which stands for Computer Network-based Augmented Reality in Indonesian. The AR-JarKom application is made using a waterfall model with the stages of needs analysis, design stages, development stages, testing stages, and maintenance stages. The result of this research is an AR-JarKom application that is able to display 3D objects and videos of practicum tools from Computer Network learning. Computer Network learning tools or videos can be displayed only by scanning images of tools in the printed or digital version of the labsheet. The AR-JarKom application can be run on Smartphone devices with the Android operating system. This makes student mobility to learn Computer Networks better without having to rely on practicum tools in the laboratory. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to be one of the qualified options in increasing the effectiveness of Computer Network learning. In the future, the AR-JarKom application will continue to be developed to improve its capabilities and existence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the Pastry subject. One aspect related to this issue is the students' learning attitude. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between learning attitude and student learning outcomes in the Pastry subject at the Culinary Department of SMK Negeri 9 Padang. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research design with a population of 224 twelfth-grade students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample was selected using simple random sampling. The instruments used include a Likert scale questionnaire, which has been tested for validity and reliability, and documentation of students' learning outcomes. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results show that both learning attitudes and learning outcomes are in the moderate category. The correlation coefficient of 0.796 indicates a strong relationship, and the hypothesis test shows that the t-count (10.84) is greater than the t-table (1.995), so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Teaching Factory (TeFa) learning on the entrepreneurial interest of 12th-grade culinary students at SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman. The research employed a causal associative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 64 students. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 26.0 with a simple linear regression test. The results showed that: (1) Teaching Factory learning was categorized as fairly good (31.25%), and students’ entrepreneurial interest was also in the fairly good category (34.38%). (2) The regression test results indicated a positive and significant influence of TeFa learning on students' entrepreneurial interest, with a significance value of 0.010 (< 0.05). (3) The regression coefficient was 0.350, meaning that each one-unit increase in the TeFa learning variable could increase entrepreneurial interest by 0.350 points. The R Square value was 0.102, indicating that Teaching Factory learning contributed 10.2% to students’ entrepreneurial interest, while the remaining 89.8% was influenced by other factors.
