Abstract

PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya is one of the companies engaged in Coal mining with an IUP covering an area of 327.40 Ha, in actual mining activities using the Open Pit method with a production target in 2021 of 278,000 MT of Coal , suddenly the company decided to increase the production target in 2022 by 404,000 MT for the Open Pit so that a re-mine planning is needed to support production activities in 2022 and beyond, the mine Design begins by calculating the Volume of Overburden and Coal contained in the mining boundary area so that a Resgraphic is obtained which is useful for Designing Pit Limit., then this Pit Limit is the economic limit of mining, then the annual Sequence Design is carried out according to the company's production target in the next 3 years, making the Sequence using the sequential method, namely to Mining activities are carried out simultaneously in certain areas with different elevations. In Year 1, total OB production was 5,179,135.9 BCM and total Coal production was 251,748 MT with a total effective working hour of 2,520 hours. In Year II mining, the acquisition of OB was 5,116,000 BCM and Coal was 401,000 MT. Likewise with Mining Year III where the acquisition of OB is 5,093.00 and Coal is 401,000,. In the above annual Design, the total Volume of Overburden is 15,371,000 BCM and the amount of Coal is 1,201,000 MT, so that the remaining vs. 3,524,043 BCM for OB and about 219,976.7 MT of Coal .

Abstract

PT. Universal Port of Sumatra is a company engaged in port services that handles loading and unloading of coal. Distribution of coal at PT. Universal Sumatra Port does not take place every day, but depends on consumer demand, therefore coal accumulation occurs in the long term. PT. Universal Sumatra Port has never tested the quality of coal. Meanwhile, in the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree Number 1827 of 2018 it is explained that, in stacking activities, efforts must be made to maintain the quality of stacked coal. One of the efforts to maintain the quality of coal is by conducting quality testing. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the value of coal quality and rank (rank) of coal, as well as what factors can cause changes in the value of coal quality. To determine coal quality, proximate analysis was used with test parameters, namely, total moisture (TM), ash content (AC), volatile matter (VM), fixed carbon (FC), and calori value (CV). Based on the results of testing in the coal quality laboratory at PT. Universal Sumatra Port did not experience significant changes, namely the total moisture value of coal in stockpile 13.58 while on barge 15.21, ash content value in coal in stockpile 3.09 while on barge 3.27, volatile matter value in coal in stockpile 51.51 while on barge 51.11, and the calorific value of coal in stockpile is 5411.90 while on barge 5397.75. It can be assumed that coal at PT. Universal Sumatra Port is categorized at subbituminous rank B (based on coal classification according to ASTM).

Abstract

Based on data on stripping production overburden at the Central pit PT Saptaindra Sejati Jobsite Adaro Mining Operation (ADMO), stripping production overburden did not reach the target. This has an impact on operating costs incurred for stripping each BCM (Bank Cubic Meter) of thelayer overburden. To determine the potential for improvement of a production process and the effectiveness of using an equipment, it is necessary to carry out an analysis using the method Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). OEE is known as a totalprogram application productive maintenance that has the ability to clearly identify the root of the problem and its causative factors so as to make improvement efforts more focused. In the analysis process of the OEE formula, themethod is also used Six Sigma to make improvements to the OEE value. Where, Six Sigma is a method for solving problems and improving the overall process. Furthermore, adiagram is used fishbone to find the root of the problem in more detail and an evaluation is carried out by referring to the method formulation six sigma.After analyzing and improving with these methods, the EX350-0005A Li R9400 production exceeds the planned target. However, the OEE value of each digging tool is still <85%, it has not reached the world class OEE value> 85%, it can be concluded that the condition of the equipment is not good. Abstract

PT. Semen Padang is one of the company cement producers in Indonesia that are members of in the Semen Indonesia Group. For activity mining , PT. Semen Padang did mining limestone and silica in the Bukit Karang Putih area which became the IUP ( Mining Business Permit ) of PT. Semen Padang. The mining activity conducted by open mine ( quarry ). In to do operation production, PT. Semen Padang cooperates with PT. United Tractors Semen Gresik (UTSG). For the PNBP area of the company using 1 unit tool dig load Komatsu PC300-8LC excavator 4 units tool transport Scania P360 dumptrucks. On August, PT. Semen Padang has set a UTSG production target of 9,000 tons/ day . Whereas realization productivity tool load reached only 2,873 tons/ day and tools transport 1,591 tons/ day . This thing caused by time work tools mechanical actual that is not effective because existence obstacles that cause height loss time. As for some Obstacles observed that is happening queue in crusher area VI for 15 minutes , time circulate tool transport actual for 23 minutes whereas the plan is 15 minutes, and it looks lateness operational tool during not enough more 10 minutes. After calculated match factor value among tool load and tools transport obtained MF < 1, then tool load wait with time wait 44.8 seconds , while tool transport work full . Based on problem just now then one method used is Queuing Theory. PT. Semen Padang, has size arrival with limited number and because only served by one excavator unit then service first coming who will served first FCFS (first come first service). After application theory queue got correct MF value of 1.2 and an increase in productivity tool transport to 2,825 tons/day. Production results after repair increase to 31% of the production target. Because after applied queue theory target 9000 tons/ day not yet is reached, then in achievement of production targets writer assume for reduce time circulate tool load be 15 seconds and time circulate tool transport be 15 minutes, and add tool transport becomes 16 units for 2 work shifts at mining PT. Semen Padang. Obtained results productivity tool transport of 9,012 tons/ day . Percentage productivity to 100.14% of the production target.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk is a producer engaged in limestone mining, which is located in the village of West Palimanan, Gempol District, Cirebon Regency, West Java. The mining method used by PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk is an open pit mining system, using the Quarry mining method. From the results of the author's observations at PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk saw a lot of fragmentation resulting from blasting which resulted in boulder. The size of the boulder based on company standards is 50 cm with the percentage of rock fragmentation resulting from blasting 50 cm at PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk is still relatively high at around ± 30%, while the fragmentation expected by PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk < 50 cm with a blast yield of 80%. This study aims to design the optimum blasting geometry to reduce the percentage of boulder so that the jaw crusher specifications are met and do not increase the cost of renting the breaker unit again. The research method is carried out by providing the results of the analysis of the Kuz-Ram method. Then one of the proposed geometries is chosen which is better while the proposed geometry is given, namely Burden 2 m, Spacing 2.5 m, Stemming 2.2 m, Subdrilling 0.19 m, Level height 5,8 m, Depth of the blast hole 6.68 m, Powder column 4.4 m, Powder factor 0.59, Kuzram Fragmentation 20 %.

Abstract

PT. Semen Padang is a mining company that uses the open pit mining method, namely Quarry Side Hill mining, which is mining method carried out to excavate deposits of industrial minerals or non-mettalic minerals. The rock to be transported to the crusher must be blasted first. The quality of the blasting results will determine the success of the blasting activity. Explosives release a large amount of energy during an explosion, only 20-30% is used to crush and move rocks and the rest is wasted in the form of environmental side effects. One of the impacts of blasting activities on the environment in the area around mining is a flyrock. At 15:15 location PT. Semen Padang, precisely on front 5, is located close to one of the generator units which is also a spotlight, this unit is 63 m from the blasting location. The author finds several flyrock throwing directions that are not in accordance with the freeface direction, but sideways or in an unwanted direction and produce excess flyrock that can hit the generator unit or equipment behind or beside the blasting area which was thought to be safe before. Flyrock throwing distance analysis will be carried out using the RIchard & Moore empirical model and Ebrahim Ghasemi dimensional analysis model.

Abstract

PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya conducts mining using open pit mining and underground mining methods. With coal prices relatively rising, the company plans to expand mining area in Eastern Pit. The references in the pit expansion plan and strategic mining plan is to estimate and model resources. The estimation of resources at PT Allied Indo Coal Jaya uses a comparison of the Geostatistics method (OrdinaryaKriging) with the Conventional (Polygon) method. Which Geostatistics method is more favored because it considers spatiality. Ordinary Kriging tends to produce block estimates that are more evenly distributed or less varied than the actual levels. The methode Polygon is a conventional method and is commonly applied to deposits that are relatively homogeneous and have a simple geometry. From the results of estimating and modeling coal resources in the Pit Timur of PT Allied Indo Coal Jaya, the OrdinaryaKriging method provides total coal resource of 5,678,887.5atons and the Polygon method provides total coal resource of 6,537,342atons. Meanwhile, in the comparison of resource models from the two methods with original situation using correlation analysis, the value of the coefficient of determination in the Ordinary Kriging method was obtained more large compared to Polygon method.

Abstract

PT. Mineral Sukses Makmur is a company engaged in iron ore mining with an IUP area of 73.4 Ha. Overburden stripping production target of PT. Mineral Sukses Makmur in September 2022 amounted to 43,700 bcm while the realization was by using the Caterpillar 320D (01) Excavator and Caterpillar 320D Excavator (02) loading equipment of 28,024 bcm or 64% of the production target. Production of overburden stripping did not meet the target due to obstacles that caused high loss time on the digging equipment, according to field observation data. Additional productivity research on equipment working hours is needed so that the overburden stripping production target can function properly and maximize the effective working time of the loading and unloading equipment. One of the appropriate methods used to overcome this problem is the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, which is a method for measuring the performance of machines or equipment used in industry by considering various production losses. After that, a Fishbone diagram is used to identify the underlying causes and effects behind the production failure of overburden stripping. From the simple linear analysis equation, a simulation can be carried out to obtain the maximum loss time limit of the working hour constraints of the loading and unloading equipment that are accurate to meet the target of overburden stripping production. Then, analysis and efforts to reduce loss time were made to achieve a total production of overburden stripping of 58,059.52 bcm/month. This means that the planned production target of 43,700 bcm/month was met and even exceeded, with the OEE value of each digger being 26%. and 22%. However, the OEE value is still relatively low compared to the standard world-class OEE value, which is 85%.

Abstract

Production at PT. Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa, especially in the 4th quarter of 2021, has not yet reached the production target for both overburden stripping and coal getting. The production target was not achieved because the mining stage design at the company had not been maximized. For this reason, it is necessary to plan a mining sequence in the first quarter of 2022 to catch up with the production target. Data processing was carried out using the Minescape 5.7 software and Microsoft Office 2019. The result was a stripping ratio of 3.87 in the first quarter of 2022 with a plan for mining stages to be carried out mostly on the low wall section so that as much as 2,361,610 BCM of overburden can be produced. coal 609,840.23 tons. The digging equipment used is the Caterpillar 345 EXCZ Excavator, the Doosan 520 EXZ Excavator and the Doosan 800 EXCZ Excavator while the transport equipment used is the Hino 500 DTB dump truck, Mercy Axor DTMB, Hino 700 DTM and Terex TR50D.

Abstract

PT. Semen Padang is a mining industry closely related to the field activities of its workers. Each type of mining work has potential and hazard factors with various risks that lead to work accidents, especially in the crusher and belt conveyor areas. This study aims to identify the hazard risks, analyze the severity of each hazard risk and its risk category, and apply the HIRARC method in controlling the hazard risks found in the crusher and belt conveyor areas of PT. Semen Padang. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method using hazard risk analysis in the form of likelihood and consequence, as well as risk matrix analysis and the HIRARC method to determine hazard control. Based on the research results, it can be seen that 12 types of hazard risks were found in the crusher area and 8 hazard risks in the conveyor belt area of PT. Semen Padang from 2018 to 2021 with a hazard severity level of 60% in the medium category, 25% in the high category, and 15% in the low category. The HIRARC method applied in controlling these risks includes: Elimination, Substitution, Engineering, Administration, and PPE.
