Abstract

Tidak semua alat rehabilitasi dapat digunakan oleh pasien pascastroke yang baru saja sembuh dari serangan stroke bahkan mereka belum dianjurkan menggunakan media rehabilitasi dan hanya melakukan terapi dengan gerakan-gerakan sederhana dikarenakan keseimbangan tubuh mereka belum baik, kurangnya koordinasi anggota gerak tubuh, memiliki kelemahan otot dan masih memerlukan alat bantu gerak seperti tongkat dan kursi roda. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah merancang sepeda roda tiga tanpa pedal yang didesain sesuai kebutuhan pasien pasca stroke untuk proses rehabilitasi. Metode yang dilakukan adalah membuat pemodelan tiga dimensi dan dilakukan simulasi secara numerik dengan metode elemen hingga. Hasil perancangan adalah sepeda ini dirancang dengan ground clearance 153 mm agar pasien pasca stroke mampu mengangkat kakinya. Pasien dapat mengendarai sepeda dengan mengayunkan kaki selayaknya berjalan untuk melatih anggota gerak bawah seperti paha, lutut, dan kaki. Hasil simulasi metode elemen hingga pada rangka sepeda menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya tegangan maksimum sebesar 38,806 Mpa pada daerah sambungan seat tube dan down tube serta deformasi maksimum terjadi pada daerah sadel yaitu 0.399 mm. Berdasarkan analisa ergonomis, sepeda ini memiliki kenyamanan dan mampu meminimalisir adanya risiko cidera baik saat dikendarai di jalan lurus maupun berbelok.

Abstract

Energi angin menarik perhatian karena selain potensinya yang melimpah, tidak mencemari lingkungan, dan gratis. karena di wilayah indonesia kecepatan anginnya rata-rata rendah, yaitu antara 3 sampai 5 m/s, maka memungkinkan untuk dibangun pembangkit listrik skala kecil menggunakan turbin angin savonius. Beberapa alasan pemilihan turbin angin savonius karena bentuknya sederhana dan mampu menerima angin dari segala arah, sehingga banyak penelitian yang sudah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara modifikasi sudut antar bilah sudu turbin savonius tipe L sebesar 90o, 100o, dan 120o. Pengujian menggunakan lorong angin dengan variasi  kecepatan hembusan angin adalah  3,4,5, 6, dan 7 m/s.  Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan variasi sudut antar bilah sudu turbin savonius tipe-L maka semakin besar sudut antar bilah maka semakin bertambah besar putaran rotor turbin yang dihasilkan. Sedang berdasarkan kecepatan hembusan angin, maka semakin besar kecepatan hembusan angin akan semakin bertambah besar pula putaran rotor turbin.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of blade numbers on the performance of Archimedes Spiral Wind Turbines (ASWT), a low-speed axial flow turbine with an Archimedean spiral blade design. Experimental tests and numerical simulations were conducted to evaluate power generation and fluid flow behavior. Results revealed that a three-blade ASWT achieved optimal performance, producing 158.5% more power than the four-blade configuration. The findings highlight the significant influence of blade numbers on ASWT efficiency, offering insights for improving wind turbine design in urban renewable energy applications.

Abstract

Learning activities in the Study Group (KB) are fun and do not burden children, so teachers are required to develop learning media. The problems faced by partners are that partners do not yet have learning media to get to know marine animals and the need for training in the use of learning media for partners. Based on an analysis of the situation and conditions faced by partners, the solution offered is to create and train for the use of learning media to get to know marine animals using an RFID card. This community service activity was carried out by a team from STT Ronggolawe Cepu in collaboration with a team of servants from STIE Pelita Nusantara Cepu. The conclusion of this activity is the creation of learning media to get to know marine animals using an RFID card and partners get learning media to get to know marine animals so that teachers can more easily introduce marine animals to students. Partners also gain knowledge and can apply technology through learning media about marine animals that have been created.

Abstract

Abstract

Energi panas matahari sangat menarik perhatian sebagai energi terbarukan, karena keberadaannya sangat melimpah dan ada sepanjang masa, akan tetapi ada keterbatasan, yaitu hanya ada pada siang hari. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, perlu disimpan menggunakan penyimpan kalor agar bisa digunakan pada malam hari. Proses pada penyimpan kalor adalah proses pengisian yang dilakukan pada siang hari dan proses pelepasan yang dilakukan pada malam hari. Maka pada penelitian ini menggunakan penyimpan kalor tipe tube-and-shell, memakai paraffin sebagai material penyimpan kalor, dilakukan secara eksperimen laboratorium. Paraffin yang digunakan adalah paraffin yang dijual bebas (lilin), untuk mengetahui sifat-sifat paraffin maka dilakukan uji Differential Thermal Analysis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perubahan temperatur paraffin pada titik-titik pengukuran, dilakukan pada proses pengisian dan pelepasan kalor. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa, Pada proses pengisian kalor terjadi kenaikan temperatur paraffin pada bagian atas lebih cepat dari bagian bawah. Sedang pada proses pelepasan kalor terjadi penurunan temperatur paraffin pada bagian bawah lebih cepat dari bagian atas.

Abstract

Refrigerators are one of the common machines for Indonesian people. Refrigerators can be used to store foods and ingredients for longer shelf life. The temperature in the refrigerator and freezer is low because the heat is absorbed by the evaporator and then released into ambient air through the condenser. The heat transfer velocity from the condenser to ambient air depends on the convection heat transfer coefficient of air. This study was conducted experimentally by comparing the refrigerator's performance that use air-cooled condensers and water-cooled condensers. The equipment used is a refrigerator with a portable water bath. This study aims to know the temperature change speed in the storage room and freezer room, the temperature changes before and after the condenser was used, and the change of the temperature and pressure in refrigerant before and after the evaporator was used. The results showed refrigerator with a water-cooled condenser can give cooling process in the storage room faster, give freezing process in the freezer room faster, and enhance COP.

Abstract

Patients recovering from a stroke may not be able to use all rehabilitation equipment due to their poor muscle strength and coordination. This study proposes to design a self-propelled walking tricycle that is a non-motorized three-wheel vehicle in a delta configuration without a pedal. This study was conducted by considering the post-stroke patient needs. It was done using two analysis methods, finite element analysis, and rapid upper limb analysis, to justify the reliability of the design. The results show that the maximum stress is 38.8 MPa in the connection area of the seat tube and down tube, while the maximum deformation is 0.399 mm in the seat post. The tricycle is constructed with 153 mm of ground clearance. Therefore, patients can lift their legs and drive the tricycle by swinging their legs repeatedly, like walking. The proposed self-propelled walking tricycle can be considered as a rehabilitation tool that can train the lower extremities. It could be used for strengthening the muscles and improve body coordination for the recovery process.
