Abstract

Every learner has their own learning styles, and there are three types of learner; such as visual learner, auditory learner, and kinesthetic learner. This paper will talk about the three types of learners based on their learning styles, the classification of English Language Education Study Program students based on the three types of learners, and what should the teachers do to help them to achieve the greater knowledge while learning new things. The research using the VAK Learning Styles Self-Assessment Questionnaire obtained from Swinburne University of Technology. The result shows that from the total of 153 students, there are 47% visual type learners, 36% auditory type learners and 17% kinesthetic type learners.

Abstract

Scramble merupakan satu dari banyaknya pilihan metode pembelajaran yang berguna untuk meningkatkan fokus dan kecepatan berpikir siswa. Penelitian ini dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh metode scramble terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SD Nurul Islam Tawaeli. Penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis pre-eksperimen dan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD Nurul Islam Tawaeli, yaitu 12 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data melibatkan tes uraian dengan rubrik penilaian serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dan menampilkan rata-rata nilai kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sebelum penerapan model pembelajaran scramble (pretest) adalah 54,857, yang diklasifikasikan sebagai kurang baik. Setelah penerapan model pembelajaran scramble, rata-rata nilai posttest meningkat menjadi 89,58, Yang menandakan bahwa kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa berada dalam kriteria sangat baik. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan, diperoleh Thitung 12,95. Dari daftar distribusi t pada ? 0,05 dengan db = 12 -1 diperoleh nilai Ttabel sebesar 2,20099. Karena Thitung 12,95 ? 2,201 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SD Nurul Islam Tawaeli dengan menggunakan metode scramble.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan perencanaan yang mengintegrasikan proses pembelajaran guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk lebih mengembangkan keterampilan lietrasi siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 6 Kasiguncu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator and Explaining. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi tes kemampuan keterampilan literasi dan pengamatan observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan analisis data subjektif serta analisis data kuantitatif. Kajian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 4 pertemuan yaitu perencanaan, penerapan, observasi, dan analisis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pada tes awal hanya 11,11% siswa yang mencapai hasil belajar klasikal. Setelah dilaksanakan siklus I, hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 44,44% sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 94,44%. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining dapat lebih mengembangkan kemampuan belajar siswa

Abstract

Changes from age to age in human life indirectly encourage humans to follow the times where it cannot be denied that all things are based on technology, including the world of education. The problem in this research is the change in the learning process carried out online with the help of development technology. The online learning process makes students difficult, especially in science learning, where learning is mostly carried out with practicum. The purpose of this study is to develop a valid and practical Android-based Discon E-Module. This research is a research and development (Research and Development) with a 4D model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The population in this study were fourth-grade students of Elementary School Inpres 1 Tondo. The research instrument used tests and media validation questionnaire sheets, material validation, and user validation. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained that the media validity was in the very good category, the material validity was in the good and very good categories, and user satisfaction was in the very good category. So it can be concluded that the Android-based E-Modul Discon (E-Modul Disroid) that was developed is included in the very valid and very practical criteria. So that this module can be used in science learning, especially for practical activities in grade IV elementary.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is an effect of the use  of ethnoscience-based Kabeloa  dance on the learning outcomes of Dance Arts subjects in grade V of SDN 22 Palu. This research method uses a quasi-experimental research method. In this study, there are two groups that will be studied, namely the first group with treatment using the ethnoscience approach method (X1) and the other group with treatment using conventional methods (X2). The instrument of this research is a learning outcome test in the form of 15 multiple-choice questions. Data were analyzed using SPSS to find out the significant achievements between the two groups, the experimental group used the ethnoscience approach method while the control class used the conventional method. Based on the significant value  of the Independent Sample T-test is 0.000, with a significant value of the T-test < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) and a significant level of 5% (0.05), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of ethnoscience-based Kabeloa dance  on the learning outcomes of Dance Arts subjects in grade V of SDN 22 Palu.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in Civics class IV SDN 1 Sindue. The background of this study is based on the low student learning outcomes seen from the pre-test results, where only 41.37% of students reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This research method is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, with the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research sample amounted to 29 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed an increase in teacher and student activities from the “good” category to “very good”. Student learning outcomes also experienced a significant increase, from 41.37% in pre-action to more than 85% in cycle II. However, there are some limitations in this study. First, the research was conducted in a single class with a relatively small sample size of 29 students, which may not be fully representative of the broader population of students in other schools or regions. Second, the study was limited to two cycles, which may not fully capture the long-term impact of the CTL model on student learning outcomes. Additionally, the research relied on specific data collection techniques, such as tests and observations, which may have limitations in capturing all aspects of student engagement and learning. Further research with a larger sample size, longer duration, and a broader range of assessment methods is recommended to better understand the effectiveness of the CTL model in improving student learning outcomes. In conclusion, despite these limitations, the application of the CTL learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in Civics subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile through Cultural Arts and Crafts Education (SBdP) in Grade IV at SD Inpres Boyantongo. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the research consist of the Grade IV teacher and Grade IV students as supporting subjects to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile. The results of the study indicate that the application of the values of the dimensions within the Pancasila Student Profile in the Cultural Arts and Crafts Education subject has been effectively implemented. During the learning process, the teacher applied the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, which are Faith and Devotion to God Almighty, Global Diversity, Mutual Cooperation, Independence, Critical Reasoning, and Creativity. Religious values and manners are evident in the students' habits of praying and showing respect. In the dimension of global diversity, the teacher created an open classroom atmosphere conducive to discussion. Group activities demonstrated cooperation, while the dimension of independence was observed when students completed individual tasks. The challenges faced included limited learning resources and reading abilities. The teacher employed methods that encouraged active student participation and aimed to develop students' character comprehensively. The SBdP learning can serve as an effective medium for instilling the values of the Pancasila Student Profile if implemented consistently with support from all parties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen lingkungan belajar dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SDN 1 Lakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen lingkungan belajar memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap semangat dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Lingkungan belajar yang nyaman, aman, dan tertata dengan baik mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Namun demikian, manajemen lingkungan belajar di SDN 1 Lakuan masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, minimnya teknologi pembelajaran, dan kerusakan atau kehilangan alat peraga. Meskipun buku pelajaran tersedia, jumlahnya belum mencukupi untuk seluruh siswa. Kondisi ini berdampak pada efektivitas pembelajaran dan tingkat motivasi siswa. Dukungan dari kepala sekolah, guru, serta pengelolaan ruang kelas dan kebersihan lingkungan sekolah turut berkontribusi dalam menciptakan atmosfer belajar yang positif. Dengan demikian, peningkatan manajemen lingkungan belajar secara menyeluruh sangat diperlukan agar motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan secara optimal.
