Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the implementation of strategic management at SMPN Satap 2 Tellu Limpoe in Bone South Sulawesi. The approach and type of research are qualitative descriptive, with a case study design. The research data was obtained through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Analysis of the data used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. As for the validity of the data, researchers used the triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the strategy management SMPN Satap 2 Tellu Limpoe Tellu Limpoe has successfully achieved the goal of the 9-year compulsory education program well and has not succeeded in improving the expected quality of education. The implementation of management strategies implemented consists of four stages. First, the environmental observation stage consists of an internal environment which includes a lack of educators and education staff, incomplete administration, facilities that have not been used optimally, and lack of education funds. The external environment includes the economic background of students and teachers and the location of the school. Second, the strategy formulation stage starts with the creation of a vision and mission. Vision and mission based on observing internal and external environments aim to maintain and develop the existence of schools through several school programs. In the third stage, the implementation of the strategy in realizing the planned program can overcome the drop out rate, overcome the shortage of educators and education personnel, overcome the lack of infrastructure and education funds. Fourth is the evaluation stage which aims to determine the success of the program that has been implemented by the school.Keywords: Implementation, Strategy Management, One Roof School Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen strategi di SMPN Satap 2 Tellu Limpoe Bone Sulawesi Selatan. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan rancangan studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Sedangkan untuk keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen strategi di SMPN Satap 2 Tellu Limpoe telah berhasil mencapai tujuan program wajib belajar 9 tahun dengan baik dan belum berhasil meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang diharapkan. Impelemntasi manajemen strategi yang diterapkan terdiri dari empat tahap. Pertama, tahap pengamatan lingkungan terdiri dari lingkungan internalyang meliputi kurangnya pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, administrasi yang belum lengkap, sarana-prasarana yang belum digunakan secara maksimal, dan dana pendidikan yang kurang.Lingkungan eksternal meliputi latar belakang ekonomi siswa dan guru, dan lokasi sekolah. Kedua, tahap perumusan strategi bermula dari pembuatan visi-misi.Visi-misi yang berdasarkan pada pengamatan lingkungan internal dan eksternalbertujuan untuk mempertahankan dan mengembangkan eksistensi sekolah melalui beberapa program sekolah. Tahap ketiga, implementasi strategi dalam mewujudkan program yang direncankanmampu mengatasi angka drop out, mengatasi kekurangan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, mengatasi kekurangan sarana prasarana dan dana pendidikan. Keempat adalah tahap evaluasi yang bertujuan untuk menentukankeberhasilan program yang telah dilaksanakan oleh sekolah.Kata kunci: Implementasi, Manajemen Strategi, Sekolah Satu Atap

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of Islamic culture in MIN I Malang, the Islamic character developed in MIN I Malang, the obstacles in implementing Islamic culture in MIN I Malang, and to describe the efforts made by school institutions to overcome these obstacles. The research method was conducted by descriptive qualitative. Data is collected using structured interviews by taking the subject of teachers, school principals, and parents of students. The results show that the implementation of Islamic culture in schools begins with the construction of a system that directs the behavior of students with Islamic character through the habituation of Islamic behavior. Then supported by the implementation of the Koran, Kultum, and memorization of the Qur'an in the first fifteen minutes before school hours every day. Duha prayer, Dhuhr prayer, Friday prayer, and princess in school. The obstacle to developing Islamic culture in schools is the habit of parents who are sometimes not in line and the way to overcome them is by creating a Whatsapp group for students' parents.Keywords: Implementation, Islamic Culture, Character EducationAbstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui implementasi budaya Islami di MIN I Malang, karakter Islami yang dikembangkan di MIN I Malang, kendala dalam implementasi budaya Islami di MIN I Malang, dan memaparkan upaya yang dilakukan oleh lembaga sekolah untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur dengan mengambil subjek guru, kepala sekolah, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi budaya Islami di sekolah diawali dengan dibangunnya sistem yang mengarahkan perilaku siswa yang berkarakter Islami melalui pembiasaan perilaku Islami. Kemudian ditunjang dengan pelaksanaan mengaji, kultum, dan hafalan Al-Qur’an pada lima belas menit pertama sebelum jam masuk sekolah setiap harinya. Pelaksanaan shalat dhuha, shalat dhuhur, shalat jumat, dan keputrian di sekolah. Kendala dari pembasaan budaya Islami di sekolah adalah pembiasaan orang tua yang kadang tidak sejalan dan cara mengatasinya adalah dengan membuat grup Whatsapp bagi orang tua murid.Kata kunci: Implementasi, Budaya Islami, Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract

The Lombok Strait is one of the strategic choke points frequented by heavy maritime traffic, demanding effective maritime security assurance. To ensure thissecurity, careful maritime control and surveillance are necessary, especiallythrough the use of monitoring tools such as SONAR to detect foreign objects passingthrough the Lombok Strait. This research aimed to analyze the characteristics ofunderwater acoustic wave propagation patterns, particularly in the formation ofshadow zones, using the Bellhop method. Simulations of the Bellhop propagationmodel were conducted using the AcTUP v2.2L Toolbox. Temperature and salinitydepth distribution data from January 01st, 2023, to December 31st, 2023 obtained from Marine Copernicus were used in this research,. The calculation of soundpropagation velocity based on the Medwin empirical equation, with a focus onsource depths of 10, 100, 300, and 500 meters. The simulation results indicated thatthe Bellhop propagation model with a frequency of 100 Hz at a source depth of 300meters produced more shadow zones compared to other source depths. Thesefindings have significant implications for understanding the patterns of acousticwave propagation in the Lombok Strait, providing valuable insights for maritimecontrol and surveillance efforts in the region.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sumber Pucung. Masalah yang diangkat adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan kurikulum baru yang sesuai dengan tuntutan perubahan pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk menggambarkan pengaruh pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan efektif dalam memberikan pemahaman tentang prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka, sementara pendampingan berperan penting dalam membantu guru mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi kurikulum. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan yang terstruktur dan berkelanjutan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka, yang berdampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk melanjutkan program pendampingan sebagai upaya berkelanjutan dalam pengembangan kompetensi guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan kegiatan pra-literasi berbasis cerita bergambar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi awal anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan guru kelas dan anak usia dini sebagai subjek utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan cerita bergambar secara sistematis dalam kegiatan pra-literasi meningkatkan keterlibatan anak dalam aktivitas membaca sebesar 85%, dengan peningkatan kemampuan mengenali huruf dan kata sederhana mencapai 70% berdasarkan hasil asesmen formatif mingguan. Selain itu, interaksi verbal anak meningkat hingga 60% selama sesi diskusi setelah membaca cerita. Penggunaan media cerita bergambar terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, interaktif, dan bermakna. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa metode berbasis cerita bergambar memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam mendukung perkembangan fondasi literasi anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in reducing bullying behavior among seventh-grade students at a Faith-based Private High School, Gowa, Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative associative research design, the study examines the relationship between CBT implementation and changes in students’ behavioral patterns. The sample was selected using purposive sampling techniques, with data collected through validated and reliable questionnaires. The results of the t-test revealed a significant negative effect of CBT on bullying behavior, while the F-test confirmed the overall model's significance. These findings demonstrate that CBT can effectively restructure distorted cognitions and reduce aggressive tendencies in school settings. The intervention not only addresses the cognitive and emotional aspects of bullying but also supports the development of a healthier classroom climate. The study contributes to the growing body of evidence supporting CBT as a practical and impactful approach in school-based mental health and behavioral interventions. Further research is encouraged to evaluate the long-term effects and scalability of CBT within diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the promotion strategy of New Student Admissions (PPDB) through flagship programs in an effort to increase student acquisition at SD Kreatif Muhammadiyah Bangil. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, with data obtained through interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the study show that the main flagship programs of 3T (Tajdid, Tahfidz, Tamyiz) are the main attractions. Promotions are carried out through social media, open tables and visits to partner schools. The evaluation of this promotion strategy showed an increase in the number of students by 13% compared to the previous year. The 3T flagship program is the dominant factor in the decision of students' parents to choose a school. However, challenges still arise in the form of public perception of private schools and limited promotional competence in some teachers. It is necessary to strengthen communication strategies and collaboration with local communities to increase the effectiveness of promotions.

Abstract

General Background: In the era of the Merdeka Curriculum, authentic assessment has become pivotal in promoting real-world application of knowledge. Specific Background: Particularly in economics education, developing critical thinking is essential due to the complexity of economic phenomena. Knowledge Gap: While existing research explores either authentic assessment or Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), studies rarely integrate both within a specific subject context at the secondary level. Aims: This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and impact of HOTS-based authentic assessments on students’ critical thinking skills in economics. Results: Employing a descriptive qualitative method involving teachers and students at SMAN 1 Gerung, the findings indicate that while the cognitive aspects of assessment are systematically planned and implemented, the affective and psychomotor domains remain underdeveloped due to time and technical constraints. Novelty: This research introduces a context-sensitive assessment model tailored to economics education, incorporating HOTS indicators (C3–C5) and addressing local classroom challenges. Implications: The study provides practical guidance for educators to design assessments that cultivate analytical and reflective thinking, and emphasizes the need for comprehensive teacher training and systemic support to optimize critical thinking development.Highlight : Teachers systematically design HOTS-based authentic assessments to improve students’ analytical and evaluative skills. Implementation focuses mainly on cognitive aspects due to challenges in assessing affective and psychomotor domains. Students showed moderate improvement in critical thinking, signaling the need for broader instructional support. Abstract

In the context of education reform in Indonesia, curriculum innovation at the elementary level remains crucial to address local needs while aligning with national standards. Specifically, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Insan Kamil in Tumpang, Malang, has adopted a Grass Roots curriculum development model to integrate Islamic values with contextual learning. However, limited studies have examined the practical application and broader educational impact of this model within Islamic elementary schools, especially its relevance to global educational discourse. This study aims to explore: (1) the design of curriculum development using the Grass Roots approach, (2) managerial strategies in its implementation, and (3) institutional goals in applying the model. The results reveal that the approach empowers educators and communities collaboratively, emphasizing project-based learning that integrates core subjects with local wisdom and Islamic values. The novelty lies in its ability to bridge national curriculum standards with contextualized religious and cultural content, offering a distinct model of grassroots-driven education. This has implications for enhancing student engagement, strengthening local identity, and promoting sustainable, practical learning. The study recommends stakeholder collaboration and improved resource access to optimize this innovative curriculum model in Islamic elementary education. Abstract

AbstractThe rapid development of technology and the needs of the creative industry require the alignment of vocational school curriculum, specifically in visual communication design, with the demands of the job market. This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and challenges of industry-based curriculum using a competency-based training approach in producing competent graduates. This is a qualitative descriptive study using a case study design, with data sources including semi-structured in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis as data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques include the miles and huberman model, triangulation of sources, and methods for testing data validity. The research subjects consisted of three individuals: the curriculum vice principal, the program head, and the visual communication design teacher, with the school principal serving as the key informant. The research findings implementing an industry-based curriculum using a competency-based training approach involves synchronisation between the school and industry to formulate learning outcomes in the fields of content creation, reprographics, and branding. Learning is conducted using the project-based learning method integrated with field work practice and skill evaluation through competency-based skills testing in collaboration with industry. This implementation successfully enhances students' 21st-century competencies such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. This study emphasizes the importance of improving facilities, teacher training, and collaboration with industry to produce competent and adaptive graduates.Keywords:Competency-based training; Visual communication design; Industry curriculum; Student competency AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan industri kreatif yang pesat menuntut penyelarasan kurikulum SMK, khususnya di bidang desain komunikasi visual dengan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan tantangan kurikulum berbasis industri dengan pendekatan competency-based training dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan metode studi kasus (case study), sumber data menggunakan wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumen sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan miles and huberman model dan triangulasi sumber serta teknik untuk uji keabsahan data. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 3 orang, yaitu waka kurikulum, kepala program, dan guru pengajar desain komunikasi visual serta kepala sekolah menjadi informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum berbasis industri dengan pendekatan competency-based training ini melibatkan sinkronisasi antara sekolah dan industri untuk merumuskan capaian pembelajaran pada bidang content creator, reprographics, dan branding. Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan metode project-based learning yang terintegrasi dengan praktik kerja lapangan dan evaluasi keterampilan melalui uji kompetensi keahlian bersama industri. Implementasi ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi abad ke-21 siswa seperti kolaborasi, komunikasi, berpikir kritis, dan kreativitas. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan fasilitas, pelatihan guru, dan kolaborasi dengan industri untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten dan adaptif.Kata Kunci:Competency-based training; Desain komunikasi visual; Kurikulum industri; Kompetensi siswa
