Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekstraksi zat warna yang terkandung pada rumput laut merah dari jenis Gracillaria salicornia yang berasal dari perairan Pulau Enggano. Metode yang dilakukan dalam mengekstraksi yaitu dengan menggunakan larutan buffer fosfat dengan berbagai variasi rentang pH yaitu pH 5,6,7,8 dan 9. Kemudian akan dilihat serapan tertinggi dari zat warna Gracillaria salicornia pada variasi pH tersebut. Analisis gugus fungsi yang terdapat pada ekstrak diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan Spektrofotometer Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak zat warna Gracillaria salicornia mengandung senyawa fikoeretrin. Ekstrak Gracillaria salicornia dalam larutan asam hingga basa berwarna kuning kecoklatan dengan nilai absorbansi tertinggi pada pH 9. Serapan maksimum ekstrak Gracillaria salicornia berada pada panjang gelombang 210 nm. Berdasarkan hasil FTIR, memberikan indikasi ada empat jenis senyawa dalam ekstrak dan memiliki gugus fungsi yakni gugus hidroksi bebas dan terikat ikatan hidrogen serta gugus C=O.1Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Bengkulu

Abstract

Learning from texts can be said to be a common learning activity at all levels of education, including elementary school levels. One of the texts studied in elementary school is an explanation text. Explanation text is a text that explains what, why, and how a phenomenon occurs. The ability to understand text is needed in explanation text material because the text has a thinking structure that must be interpreted so that students are able to achieve the ability to understand text that has been determined as a learning goal. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and document analysis. The aspects studied were to determine the level of students' understanding of the explanation text including the structure of the content, language features, and the systematic preparation of the explanatory text.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media puzzle di kelas I A SD Negeri 1 Purwonegoro tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dan studi dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan dengan merefleksi hasil obeservasi terhadap proses pembelajaran dengan indikator keberhasilan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai minimal 80% kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila mengalami peningkatan, rata-rata kelas siklus I sebesar 72,06 meningkat menjadi 85,58 pada siklus II, sedangkan persentase ketuntasan klasikal siklus I sebesar 55,77% kategori cukup meningkat menjadi 84,62% kategori sangat baik pada siklus II. Hasil belajar pada siklus II sudah melebihi indikator ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 80%. Penggunaan media puzzle membantu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap materi pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik dapat meningkat.

Abstract

Many building materials that function as insulators to maintain indoor temperature stability during hot weather have been developed. One of them is porous ceramics applied to building walls as heat absorbers. Research related to the manufacture of porous ceramics began to emerge to find the optimal composition when applied as an insulator that can absorb heat well. In general, porous ceramics use activated carbon as a pore agent. Activated carbon can be obtained by carbonating agricultural wastes such as coconut shells, hazelnut shells, rubber fruit shells, rice husks, and cocoa shells. Research continues to develop in finding the best-activated carbon base material according to the required material characteristics. Researchers will take advantage of the abundant potential of local natural resources. The method used to make porous ceramics is to mix clay and activated carbon with a clay-carbon composition ratio of 100:0, 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40, and 50:50. The sample is made by mixing the two materials and then printed by dry pressing method with a load of 5 tons held for 10 minutes. After the sample is dried at room temperature, it is sintered at 900oC with a holding time of 3 hours. Next, the sample is characterized by determining density, porosity, and water absorption and then tested for thermal properties. After that, the surface morphology and elements in the sample are seen. The optimum composition of clay-carbon mixture is 70:30 grams.  Ceramics using activated carbon from rubber fruit shells are suitable as building construction materials as heat insulators because they can absorb heat up to 500oC.

Abstract

Penyakit infeksi merupakan suatu penyakit yang disebabkan karena virus, bakteri, protozoa ataupun jamur. Penggunaan antibiotik dalam pengobatan infeksi dapat menimbulkan efek samping dan resistensi. Daun pulutan secara empiris digunakan sebagai penurun panas, rematik, luka, bisul, dan sebagai antiseptik. Daun pulutan mengandung metabolit sekunder alkaloid, saponin, dan flavonoid yang diduga memiliki aktivitas antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak daun pulutan (Urena lobata L) terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus, menentukan Konsentrasi Hambat Minimum (KHM) dan Konsentrasi Bunuh Minimum (KBM) ekstrak daun pulutan (Urena lobata L) Terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah true experimental. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan metode difusi cakram dan dilusi cair. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan Kruskal-Wallis dan Mann Whitney. Hasil ekstrak daun pulutan memiliki aktivitas antibakteri pada konsentrasi 100% zona hambat 14,09 mm dan konsentrasi 80% zona hambat 11,09 mm. Nilai KHM terdapat pada konsentrasi 80% dan tidak memiliki nilai KBM. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan terdapat perbedaan bermakna p value 0,004 pada Kruskall Wallis dan pada Mann Whitney menunjukan p value 0,025. Dapat disimpulkan Daun Pulutan (Urena lobata L) memiliki aktivitas antibakteri kategori kuat. Nilai KHM terdapat pada konsentrasi 80% dan tidak memiliki nilai KBM terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of digital leadership on job satisfaction and team work effectiveness. The sample of this research is part of Ahmad Dahlan University staff. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Instruments are tested using Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Cronbach Alpha, while hypothesis testing uses Path Analysis. The results of this study show that there is a significant positive direct influence of digital leadership on job satisfaction (0,002) and teamwork effectiveness. (0,024).  The mediation that happens in this research model is partial mediation. The implications of this study are that the knowledge and digital skills of today's leaders have an important contribution to teamwork effectiveness and employee satisfaction. Of course, these findings are in line with the demands of managing organizations that advance digitalization without eliminating the human element.  Keywords: Digital Leadership, Team Work Effectiveness, Job SatisfactionAbstrak Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalis pengaruh digital leadership terhadap kepuasan kerja dan efektifitas kerja tim. Uji instrumen menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis dan Cronbach Alpha. Sedangkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Path Analysis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung digital leadership secara positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (0,002) dan efektifitas kerja tim (0,024).  Mediasi yang terjadi pada model penelitian ini adalah partial mediation. Pengetahuan dan ketrampilan digital pemimpin saat ini memiliki kontribusi penting terhadap efektifitas kerja tim dan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Tentu saja temuan ini sejalan dengan tuntutan pengelolaan organisasi yang mengedepankan digitalisasi tanpa meniadakan unsur manusia.Kata Kunci: Digital Leadership, Efektifitas Kerja Tim, Kepuasan Kerja

Abstract

This research analyzed about personality, worryness in getting job and entrepreneurial intentions. This research also analyzed the differences between students in personality, worryness in getting job and entrepreneurial intentions. The research's population are Economics Facilty's student in Ahmad Dahlan University. The research sample are student who studied entrepreneurship in Management Programme and Accounting Programme. Sampling technique which is used in this research are purposive sampling. Path analysis and two-way anova analysis are applied to answer the research problem. The conclutions of this research are 1) personality has a significant impact to entrepreneurial intentions and worryness in getting job, 2) worryness in getting job has a significant impact to entrepreneurial intention, and 3) there are no differences among students of Management Programme and Accounting Programme in personality, worryness in getting job and entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

Borax and formalin are chemicals that are often used as desfinfectants, corpse preservatives, cosmetics and so on. The misused use of borax and formalin can be detrimental to human life. Misuse of these two chemicals is often found in food. If borax and formalin enter the body it can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cancer and even death. The need to detect borax and formalin in food quickly and easily, so that the public can avoid the consumption of foods that contain these harmful ingredients. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and training to the community, especially housewives who are members of the Muslimah (Salimah) subdistrict of Bengkulu City to be able to detect borax and formalin on food using natural indicators, namely purple trumpet flowers and purple sweet potatoes.
