Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses administrasi Kerja Praktik (KP) dan Tugas Akhir (TA) di PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan Zona 4 Kota Prabumulih melalui penggunaan sistem informasi berbasis website. Sistem ini menggantikan metode manual sebelumnya yang menggunakan email dan Excel, dengan menyediakan fitur registrasi online, unggah dokumen, verifikasi, hingga monitoring kegiatan. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pelatihan langsung, simulasi penggunaan, dan evaluasi pemahaman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap penggunaan sistem serta efisiensi kerja administratif. Sistem ini juga memberikan kemudahan pelacakan data dan mengurangi risiko kehilangan data. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam peningkatan kompetensi pegawai dan optimalisasi proses administrasi KP/TA.

Abstract

Computer networks have now become a primary need for some people, be it to do work or other things. The same happened at the site office of PT. LEN Industri Palembang all employees are very dependent on public network connections or the internet to do work or communicate with sites or head offices. Sometimes the network is disrupted so that it does not allow employees to do their work. Therefore, researchers will implement policy-based route based failover which aims to separate traffic and also failover as a backup connection, this can be implemented using a built-in tool from MikroTik, namely Netwatch and also 2 ISPs that work in a way when ISP 1 experiences interference, traffic will be diverted to ISP 2 or vice versa and by using policy based route traffic on the network can be separated so that it is not Make the network choked or full traffic.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi teknis siswa magang SMK di Universitas Bina Darma melalui pelatihan Network Management System (NMS) berbasis Zabbix. Pelatihan difokuskan pada pemahaman konsep monitoring jaringan, instalasi dan konfigurasi Zabbix Server, pembuatan host, penerapan template, serta analisis data performa server dan jaringan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi awal, penyusunan materi, pelatihan langsung, pendampingan praktik, dan evaluasi akhir. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami dasar-dasar monitoring jaringan dan dapat mengoperasikan fitur utama Zabbix seperti dashboard, grafik performa, dan sistem notifikasi. Pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan keterampilan praktis peserta dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur TI, serta mendukung kesiapan mereka memasuki dunia kerja di bidang jaringan dan sistem informasi.

Abstract

This research analyzes the implementation of a site-to-site Virtual Private Network (VPN) between buildings at Universitas Bina Darma using two protocols: Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) and Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP). The objective is to evaluate network performance based on Quality of Service (QoS) parameters, including delay, throughput, packet loss, and jitter. The study employs an experimental method by configuring VPN connections on MikroTik devices installed in each building and conducting tests using the iperf3 application. The results show that L2TP provides a lower average delay (6 ms) compared to PPTP (18 ms) and achieves higher throughput, reaching 95.8 Mbps at 100 Mbps bandwidth. In contrast, PPTP records lower throughput, with an average of 71.9 Mbps and TCP throughput of only 3.8 Mbps, but demonstrates better stability in terms of packet loss (0–0.0046%) and jitter (0.8–1.4 ms). In conclusion, PPTP is more suitable for stable data transmission, while L2TP is preferable for high-speed communication, and the choice of protocol should be adjusted to specific network requirements.

Abstract

The Bina Darma Campus has experienced rapid growth in recent years, resulting in increased complexity in managing various aspects of campus life. One of the problems that arises is the increase in demand for information services and assistance for students. To overcome this challenge, developing a chatbot website is the solution. Chatbots can increase efficiency in providing information and better interaction experiences to users. This research aims to develop a chatbot website that can be used by the Bina Darma Campus. This chatbot is designed to provide information about class schedules, campus facilities, administrative procedures, and other general questions frequently asked by users. The methodology used is the spiral method, which consists of 5 stages, namely planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Then, the chatbot was developed by applying natural language processing technology and integrated with the campus information system. After that, a chatbot trial was carried out with the participation of students. Statistical analysis is used to interpret research results. The research results show that the development of a chatbot website for the Bina Darma Campus was successfully implemented efficiently. Chatbots are able to provide fast and accurate responses to user questions, which then results in a high level of user satisfaction with the experience of interacting with the chatbot. Apart from that, chatbots have also succeeded in reducing the workload of administrative staff in providing routine information to users. These findings indicate that chatbots have the potential to improve the overall efficiency of campus services.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa SMK dalam menerapkan sistem keamanan jaringan melalui Wazuh File Integrity Monitoring dan integrasi Suricata dengan notifikasi Telegram. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode hands-on training yang meliputi penyampaian konsep dasar keamanan jaringan, instalasi dan konfigurasi Wazuh Agent, implementasi FIM, pemasangan Suricata sebagai IDS, integrasi log Suricata ke Wazuh, serta pembuatan Telegram Bot untuk notifikasi real-time. Siswa juga melakukan simulasi serangan, seperti perubahan file dan port scanning, untuk menguji kemampuan sistem mendeteksi ancaman. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu memahami cara kerja FIM, membaca log keamanan, mengidentifikasi aktivitas jaringan mencurigakan, dan menerima peringatan otomatis melalui Telegram. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan berbasis praktik ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan kompetensi siswa serta memberikan pengalaman langsung terkait implementasi sistem keamanan modern berbasis open-source. Model pelatihan ini dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan keamanan siber di dunia pendidikan dan industri.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan optimalisasi Website OPD Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Daerah (Balitbangda) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan sebagai media informasi inovasi daerah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui program magang mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan keterlibatan langsung dalam pengelolaan website. Optimalisasi difokuskan pada pembaruan profil instansi, konten berita, data organisasi, visi dan misi, serta indeks inovasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa website yang telah dioptimalkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas informasi, aksesibilitas, dan transparansi dalam penyebaran informasi inovasi daerah kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menuntut ketersediaan infrastruktur jaringan yang andal dan berkapasitas tinggi. Fiber optik menjadi media transmisi utama yang digunakan oleh penyelenggara Internet Service Provider (ISP) karena keunggulannya dalam hal bandwidth, kecepatan, dan stabilitas. Namun, pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap prinsip dasar fiber optik, penerapan topologi jaringan, pengujian menggunakan Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), serta mekanisme perawatan jaringan masih perlu ditingkatkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada mahasiswa Universitas Bina Darma Palembang agar memiliki pemahaman teoritis dan keterampilan dasar terkait jaringan fiber optik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri ISP. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan simulasi pengujian. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep fiber optic.
