Abstract

Abstract: This study is based on the low learning outcomes IPS of class students VA SD Negeri 81 Pekanbaru. The KKM determined by the school is 73. Of the 26 students, only 7 students (26,92%) attained the KKM, while the students who had not reached the KKM were 19 students (73,08%) with an average grade is 67,69. This study is aims to improve learning outcomes IPS of class VA SD Negeri 81 Pekanbaru by applying the model of learning cooperative, make a match’ type. Activity teachers on the first cycle of the first meeting obtained 66,7% with enough category, at the second meeting increased to 79,2% with good category. Furthermore, second cycle of the first meeting of teacher’s activity also increased to 83,3% with good category too and second cycle at the second meeting increased to 91,7% with very good category. While the activity of student in first cycle of first meeting get 62,5% with enough category, at second meeting of first cycle increased to 75% with enough category too. While in the first meeting of the second cycle of student activity increased to 83.3% with good category and at the second meeting of second cycle increased to 87.5% with very good category. Learning result data obtained from the average basic score is 67,69 which is increased to 16,48% with an average is 78,85 on the first cycle. On the second cycle increased to 23,57% with an average is 83,65. In the basic score of social sciences learning classical completeness students are 26,92% (not complete). After applied model of cooperative learning make a match’ type in first cycle of classical completeness of learning student increase with classical completeness is 76,92% and in second cycle classical completeness learning student increase again with classical mastery is 88,46%.Keywords: Cooperative learning model make a match type, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that the students' science learning outcomes are low and there are still many students who have not reached the minimum completness criteria that has been set that is 65. From 26 students only 10 students (38.5%) reach minimum completnes criteria and 16 students (61.5% ) did not reach the minimum completness criteria. This research is a classroom action research conducted on the fourth grade students of SDN 15 Pangkalan Nyirih. The Research Instrument consists of Learning Tool used in this research based on Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) or known as Curriculum 2006. Learning tools consist of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheets. The first meeting of the first cycle of teacher activity is the average activity of teachers observed in cycle II has increased compared to the cycle I. At the first meeting of the cycle I the average teacher activity 71.28% in either category, at the second meeting the average activity teachers increased to 78.58% in very good category.At the third meeting of cycle II the average of 82.14% of the teachers activity was very good and at the fourth meeting with the average activity of 85.71% in the Very Good category. The first meeting of the first cycle of student activity average of 62.5% with sufficient category, at the second meeting the average activity increased to 70.83% with good category.In the third meeting of cycle II the average student activity 83.33% in very good category and at the fourth meeting increased compared to the previous meeting with the average of 87.5% student activity with very good category. Student learning outcomes after preliminary student data above minimum completeness criteria only 10 people (66.42%) after cycle I increased up to 15 people (70.19%) after the second cycle increased more than 20 people (76.73%) the average of students acquired by class in the initial data is only 38.46 and after the first cycle increased by an average of 57.69 and in the second cycle increased more up to 76.92. This means that the classic value obtained by students has been above the minimum completeness criteria that has been set.Keywords: Think Pair Share Learning Model (TPS), Science Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the low learning result for third grader students of Primary School 94 Pekanbaru on science. It can be seen from the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning is 75 and there were 6 out of 31 students who passed the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (19.36%) and those who did not reach the Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning were 25 students (80.64%) with average score is 60.96. This study aims to improve the learning result of science through inquiry learning model for third grader students of Primary School 94 Pekanbaru. This type of research is classroom action research. Moreover, the data collection techniques are learning result test and observation sheet. The test is used to collect the data such as student learning result and the observation sheet is used to collect data on teacher and student activities. The pre-test that has passed score is 19.36%. Meanwhile, the post-test in the first cycle improves about 45.16% and the improvement in the second cycle is 83.87%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of inquiry learning model can improve science learning result of third grader students at Primary School 94 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Inquiry Learning Model, Science Learning Result
