Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap teori behaviorisme Albert Bandura, serta implikasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Dibutuhkan adanya kajian mendalam untuk membedah teori behaviorisme Bandura, yang merupakan tokoh ­­baru dalam perkembangan teori belajar yang telah lama dianut oleh para pengajar ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka, mengandalkan sumber bibliografi berupa buku dan jurnal ilmiah hasil penelitian yang berkaitan, menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif untuk membaca data dan menganalisis pemikiran berhaviorisme Bandura. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program pembelajaran observasional (modeling), yang lebih dikenal dengan social learning theory dan personality psychology, serta program-program yang berpijak pada konsep stimulus-respons, yang dikemukakan oleh Bandura, mempunyai implikasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab.  Implementasi yang dapat digunakan di antaranya adalah: penyajian materi banyak dengan ḥiwār, peniruan idiom, pembiasaan, dengan tidak mengajarkan qawā’id secara terpisah. Kemudian, kesemua tujuan pembelajarannya dapat dicapai dengan optimalisasi lingkungan bahasa (bī’ah/environment).

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the educational value of tolerance contained in bahs al-masāil activities in traditional Islamic boarding schools. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which took place at the Pesantren Al-Anwar in Rembang and the Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah in Yogyakarta, with the object of research being the students from the pesantren who actively participated in the bahs al-masāil forum. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that there are at least four values ​​of tolerance education in bahs al-masāil activities, namely: mutual respect for the opinions of others shown by the bahs al-masāil participants; helping fellow participants in finding 'ta'bīr related to the problem being discussed from the reference book; upholding peace after leaving the baul masāil arena which is full of disputes; and justice realized by the moderator in leading the bahs al-masāil forum

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and describe the reasons, processes, and implications of learning Naḥwu-Ṣarf from the book Alfiyyah Ibn Mālik with interpretive approach at Pondok Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta. This study used a qualitative approach, where data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out by reducing, interpreting, presenting, and drawing conclusions. Data testing is done through triangulation. The results of the study show that: (1) The reasons for practicing interpretive learning are because textual understanding of naẓm is the main paradigm of learning, as well as the content behind the textual meaning that is intriguing; (2) the process involves extracting the original meaning of the text, the original meaning intended by the author, extracting the implicit meaning behind textual understanding, and relating it to other things; and (3) It has implications for increasing the students’ interest in learning participation, as well as inculcating the knowledge values to students’ life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan mendeskripsikan proses, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta implikasi dari pengimplementasian pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran qawā’id bahasa Arab di Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif, dengan dua jenis data, yakni data primer dan data sekunder. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi, penafsiran, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan melalui teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Alasan dipraktikkanya pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran qawā’id adalah supaya santri terlibat secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, membiasakan santri untuk menerapkan kaidah bahasa Arab yang telah dipelajari, membiasakan santri untuk membaca literatur berbahasa Arab, santri dapat memperoleh penjelasan yang lebih mendalam; (2) pembelajaran interaktif mata pelajaran qawā’id melibatkan adanya kegiatan timbal balik, kesempatan berkontribusi, bervariasinya cara pemecaran masalah, sumber belajar bervariatif, perbedaan keterampilan, membaca dan menulis, serta adanya tantangan dalam pembelajaran; (3) faktor pendukungnya ialah sumber referensi memadai, adanya program sorogan, belajar kelompok, adanya tantangan, penilaian tidak hanya berdasar ujian tulis, program Munaqosyah, serta kompetensi pengajar. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya ialah kondisi fisik santri, terlalu larut malam, serta kurangnya rasa percaya diri; (4) implikasi pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran qawā’id ialah meningkatnya gairah dan minat santri, mendidik untuk memperoleh pengetahuan melalui usaha sendiri, kemampuan bekerjasama, serta adanya kesempatan berkontribusi.

Abstract

The function of pesantren is indeed as a place to gain religious knowledge (tafaqquh fi ad-dīn), but it cannot be denied that pesantren have great potential in the economy. Considering this potential, pesantren should prepare their cadres to become reliable and skilled resources in order to realize the economic independence of the pesantren. It is not enough for the development of santri resources to be equipped with entrepreneurship skills alone and without managerial skills, especially financial management skills. Therefore, santri need to obtain good financial literacy education so that they are competent in increasing the economic independence of the pesantren. This study aims to provide an overview of financial literacy education for santri in welcoming the economic independence of pesantren. As a conceptual scientific article, this study relies on exploration of various sources related to financial literacy and economic independence of pesantren. Based on the studies that have been conducted, it is concluded that financial literacy education for santri as an initial step towards the economic independence of pesantre can be carried out in three stages, namely: the introduction stage through the introduction of concepts and financial literacy material adapted to fiqh al-mu'āmalāt material; the application stage through extracurricular activities and khidmah in pesantren, and the development stage through programs to increase environmental involvement and pesantren collaboration with the community, leaders, institutions, and business actors.

Abstract

Teachers are expected to be able to evaluate the learning process and also be able to develop evaluation tools or instruments used in the learning process. Test items are considered appropriate if they are valid and able to measure the level of suitability and reliability or consistency. The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of the test items and the mathematical ability of the XII grade students of the State Vocational School in one of State Vocational School in Semarang District. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that describes the quality of the mathematics test items made by the teacher and the students' abilities in mathematics. The subjects in this study were 126 student response patterns to the test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions totaling 20 items for class XII students. Rasch model was used to analyze this research with the help of Winsteps 3.73 software. A total of 20 items were tested, there was only one item, namely item number 7, which did not fit, which means it does not function normally to measure students' abilities. The ability of students who are relatively weak with Person Reliability of 0.48. The results showed that the quality of the test items was applicable. This is indicated by the Item Reliability value of 0.95 which means that the items are very good for evaluating students' abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal Albert Bandura's theory of behaviorism and its implications in learning Arabic. An in-depth study is needed to dissect Bandura's theory of behaviorism, which is a new figure in the development of learning theories that have been long held by these teachers. This research is a library research, relying on bibliographic sources in the form of books and scientific journals from related research, using descriptive analysis methods to read data and analyze the thinking of Bandura theory. The results of this study indicate that observational learning (modeling), better known as social learning theory and personality psychology, and programs that are based on the concept of stimulus-response, proposed by Bandura, have implications in learning Arabic. The implementations that can be used include: the material presentation of many with ḥiwār, imitation of idioms, habituation, by not teaching qawā'id separately. Then, all learning objectives can be achieved by optimizing the environment of the language (bī'ah).

Abstract

This research aims to reveal and describe the implementation of sorogan in learning qirā'ah kitab kuning at the Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study type. There are primary and secondary data sources, which are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using method triangulation techniques and source triangulation. Data analysis was carried out using inductive techniques and presented using descriptive techniques. The findings from this research are that the implementation of sorogan at the Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakarta is only mandatory for students at the beginning and middle levels, in groups of 3-5 people per supervisor, and the reading provided is adjusted to the class. Supporting factors for the implementation of sorogan are the suitability of sorogan with traditional pesantren, the synergy of pesantren administrators with the education board, the sufficient number and skills of supervisors, the uniform knowledge of students, and the accessibility of learning support references. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the lack of consistency of supervisors, less than optimal preparation of students, unstable motivation to learn, and the many activities outside the pesantren that students also have to participate in. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as evaluation material for the management of the Pesantren Al-Luqmaniyyah Yogyakakarta, as well as consideration for other pesantren that are or will be implementing the sorogan method in their learning systems.

Abstract

The discourse on 'iddah and 'iḥdād is still an interesting topic for discussion, both by academics, activists, and lay people. In fact, it is not uncommon for female influencers and activists who do not actually have a deep understanding of fiqh discourse to also comment on this matter. Therefore, it is appropriate for this discourse to return to refer to Ushul Fiqh experts, such as Saif al-Din al-Amidi. This research aims to reveal the resolution of 'iddah and iḥdād cases in modern society from the perspective of the kitab Al-Iḥkām fī Uṣūl al-Aḥkām by Al-Amidi, along with the methodology of its legal interpretation. The results of this research show that 'iddah is still mandatory for women who are separated from their husbands either due to divorce or death, even though there is technological sophistication that is able to ensure that the uterus is empty of the fetus. Regarding limitations (iḥdād) such as leaving the house and putting on make-up can be tolerated as long as these things are urgent to do and are directly related to the needs of life and those of their family.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of triangulation as a method for testing data validity in Living Qur’an research within student papers. This research employs a qualitative approach, which, in terms of its background, falls under library research. Data were obtained from the repository of students’ final assignments at PTIQ Jakarta University as the research sample. Data collection was conducted using documentation techniques, followed by content analysis. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that only a small portion of student papers related to the Living Qur’an explicitly mention triangulation as part of their data validation process. However, triangulation techniques have been implicitly applied in student research. The types of triangulation used mainly include methodological triangulation and source triangulation. Nevertheless, inconsistencies in its application have been observed, which may raise doubts about data validity and lead to premature conclusions. Apart from these two types, time triangulation and theoretical triangulation have not been widely utilized and, in fact, tend to be entirely absent.
