Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept to integrate and connect all electronic devices using the internet network, so that they can develop such as smart homes, smart buildings, and more complex ones, such as smart cities. The purpose of this research is to design a monitoring system for air temperature and humidity using NodeMCU as a controller with DHT11, DHT22 sensors and a monitoring system using a web-based platform. This system integrates internet and cellular communication which will be sent via a microcontroller to the website so that it can be monitored remotely and as a backup line when the internet connection is having problems, researchers can view data via cellular or SMS. As result, Where after designing and testing the tool, the two sensors can function properly by displaying results that are not much different from monitoring using conventional methods. Abstract

The designed tool is capable of automatically opening the cover of the garbage box when it detects the presence of the user around it. They also performed tools testing and cost analysis for this research. The results show that this tool can work well and can help in waste management. Nevertheless, further testing of ultrasonic sensors and ports is needed to identify and correct any problems that may arise. Further development of program codes is also needed to improve the accuracy and reliability of the system in responding to proximity objects. Lastly, security and reliable aspects of systems in everyday use need to be taken into account, as well as environmental factors that may affect system performance. Thus, this automatic trash tool is expected to help manage garbage more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to provide knowledge about mobile applications for queuing systems that are expected to make it easier for patients who will check their health or seek treatment at the Health Center. The methods used in this activity include interview methods with the Health Center to find out the source of the problem that is the basis for this community service activity. Furthermore, a socialization method is carried out, where in this socialization activity an explanation will be given to both the Health Center and patients about the use of the application that will be designed. The results of this activity are socialization regarding the Mobile application for the patient queuing system along with socialization of the procedures for using the application. Where after the implementation of this activity is carried out, the application that will be designed will make it easier for patients and patients no longer need to sit and queue for a long time when going to the Sako Health Center for treatment.

Abstract

Hearing impairment was considered a significant barrier to understanding verbal communication. Therefore, an alternative communication medium in the form of sign language was required to bridge interactions between Deaf and hearing individuals. One of the sign languages used in Indonesia was the Indonesian Sign Language (BISINDO). The advancement of deep learning technology provided a great opportunity to develop an effective and accurate BISINDO alphabet classification system. This research was conducted to evaluate and compare the performance of two Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures, namely ResNet50 and MobileNetV2, in classifying BISINDO alphabet images consisting of 26 classes from A to Z. Model training wa carried out over 100 epochs and was analyzed using metrics such as training and validation accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix. The training process used a dataset that was divided into 80% training data and 20% validation data, and include image preprocessing steps such as resizing and rescaling. The evaluation results showed that ResNet50 achieved 86.42% training accuracy and 98.64% validation accuracy with 98.80% precision, 98.69% recall, 98.57% F1-score, and 31 misclassifications. In contrast, MobileNetV2 showed superior performance with 99.99% training accuracy, 99.65% validation accuracy, 99.69% precision, 99.65% recall, 99.61% F1-score, and only 8 misclassifications. Based on these results, MobileNetV2 was recommended as a more effective and efficient architecture for BISINDO alphabet image classification compared to ResNet50.

Abstract

This study aims to create and test a microstrip array antenna with eight elements that works in the 2.0–2.8 GHz frequency range. We use CST Studio Suite to run simulations that check performance metrics like return loss (S11), VSWR, gain, and radiation pattern. The results show that the antenna has a return loss of -24 dB and a VSWR of 1.13 at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, which means the impedance is very well matched. However, the radiation and total efficiencies at 2 GHz and 2.8 GHz are still low, so the design can't handle the highest frequencies in the working range. The 126 MHz bandwidth should be able to cover channels 1 to 13 in Band 40 (2300–2400 MHz), but the antenna needs to work better at frequencies above 2.4 GHz to be helpful for all applications. Compared to other studies, this antenna's gain and efficiency are still not as good as those of other phased array antennas. This study is the first step towards creating a possible digital beam steering system that adaptively aligns signals to user movement to reduce interference in mobile environments.

Abstract

Food safety is a critical issue that has a direct impact on public health. Illegal addition of hazardous substances such as rhodamine B, melachite green, methanyl yellow, formalin, borax, and sodium hypochlorite are still commonly found in food products sold in the market. This research project aims to develop a tool for detecting hazardous substances in Internet of Things (IoT) based foods using a threshold method that refers to BPOM regulations. The threshold method refers to BPOM regulations. This system integrates two sensors: The TCS3200 sensor is used for RGB color analysis, and the HCHO sensor detects volatile compounds detecting volatile compounds. Test results show that this tool achieves 96.67% accuracy in identifying hazardous substances without producing false positives. The novelty of this research lies in combining both sensors into one system with real-time notification via Telegram. Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi (PT) di Indonesia terdiri dari Universitas, Sekolah tinggi, Akademik, Institut dan juga Politeknik, dimana perguruan tinggi tersebut terdapat di berbagai wilayah Indonesia. PT di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan berjumlah 265 yang telah terdaftar di website resmi forlap dikti. Dari jumlah tersebut 137 berada di Wilayah Kota Makassar. Aplikasi berbasis Geograpich Information System (GIS) dapat membantu publik untuk memberikan informasi tentang titik lokasi yang lebih akurat serta memberikan informasi terkait perguruan tinggi baik dari segi Akreditasi, Jurusan dan juga situs resmi perguruan tinggi. Agar aplikasi tersebut dapat digunakan, diadakan kegiatan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi, untuk operator LLDikti IX. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi serta meberikan update informasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi tersebut, setelah dilakukan uji coba oleh peserta, layak untuk digunakan oleh publik, dan aplikasi tersebut dapat membantu publik untuk mengetahui PT di wilayah LLDikti IX.

Abstract

Visual-based food classification and recipe recommendation systems remain underexplored in the context of local culinary traditions. To address this gap, a system was developed using the EfficientNetB1 architecture of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), integrated with a Large Language Model (LLM) to generate South Sumatran recipes from food images, adapting suggestions to classification results. The model was trained using transfer learning on eight food ingredient classes selected for their prevalence in local cuisine. It achieved a validation accuracy of 98.2% and a test accuracy of 98%, with average precision, recall, and F1-score all exceeding 98%, indicating consistent and reliable performance. The system was deployed as a web-based application, DapoerKito, allowing users to upload food images, receive classification results, and obtain generated recipe suggestions. LLM-generated recipes are produced instantly, matched to ingredients, and shown in a clear format. These findings demonstrate the value of integrating computer vision and language generation in an AI-based platform that supports usability and cultural relevance. In addition to its technical capabilities, the system contributes to the digital preservation of regional culinary heritage through interactive AI. This CNN–LLM integration offers a novel approach for advancing food AI with diverse ingredients, personalized nutrition, and multilingual support.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem e-voting berbasis blockchain dengan autentikasi biometrik sidik jari serta penerapan protokol zero-knowledge proofs sebagai pengamanan tambahan terhadap data pemilih dan hasil suara. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi dalam sistem pemungutan suara elektronik konvensional adalah rendahnya kepercayaan terhadap keamanan data dan potensi manipulasi hasil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup perancangan sistem dengan arsitektur client-server, implementasi teknologi blockchain untuk pencatatan suara yang terenkripsi, serta integrasi biometrik sidik jari menggunakan BiometricPrompt API pada Android. Selain itu, sistem diverifikasi dengan kode OTP melalui email institusional sebagai bentuk validasi ganda pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan keamanan yang tinggi karena setiap data suara tersimpan secara permanen dan tidak dapat diubah di jaringan blockchain. Autentikasi biometrik juga memastikan bahwa setiap pemilih terverifikasi secara unik sehingga tidak terjadi pemungutan suara ganda. Dengan demikian, sistem e-voting ini dinilai layak diterapkan untuk lingkungan akademik dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk pemilihan umum berskala lebih besar.

Abstract

Klinik Pratama Pataraja saat ini masih mengelola pengarsipan dengan pencatatan surat masuk dan keluar serta penyimpanan arsip masih dicatat menggunakan buku expedisi secara manual, sehingga karyawan mengalami kesulitan saat mencari arsip dan memiliki potensi kehilangan dari arsip tersebut. Maka dari itu dibutuhkan sebuah aplikasi yang memudahkan pengelolaan arsip untuk mengelola data semua jenis surat yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat dan keuntungan yang diperoleh dari penggunaan sistem pengarsipan surat elektronik di Klinik Pratama Pataraja, seperti peningkatan efisiensi operasional pengurangan biaya, dan peningkatan akurasi informasi serta menganalisis tingkat efisiensi dan efektivitas pengarsipan surat secara elektronik, termasuk waktu akses informasi, pengurangan kesalahan pengarsipan dan optimalisasi pemanfaatan sumber daya untuk meningkatkan produktivitas klinik. Data ini diperoleh melalui perancangan, analisis sistem, perancangan proses, perancangan basis data, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasi dan Agile. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Pengarsipan Surat Secara Eletronik Pada Klinik Pratama Pataraja Lanud Sultan Hasanuddin Kabupaten Maros berhasil diimplementasikan dan sangat baik digunakan dengan nilai kuesioner penilaian 92,7%.
