Abstract

Self-efficacy is a person's belief in his ability to solve planned activities.  Self-efficacy reflects a person’s confidence in their ability to perform tasks creatively and optimistically. The elements to Self-efficacy are mastery experience, vicarious experience, social persuasion, affecative physiological states. Creative thinking is ability to find new ideas originally that are surprising to define it, and also valuable in sensitivity, and the factors are fluency, flexibility, originality, sensitivity, and elaboration. Learning at class need self-efficacy and creative thinking based, the both have relation that influence. Researcher will reveal it at writing skill learning. This study aims at investigating the relationship between self-efficacy and creative thinking of university students at writing skill learning. The method uses quantitative with correlation of two variables with paired sample test. The subject of the study is 53 third semester students of Arabic Language Education Department of Arabic Literature Faculty of State University of Malang Indonesia at writing skill class. Its coefficient correlation is 0,799 and p-value 0,000. The result of this study indicates significant correlation between self-efficacy and creative thinking at writing skill learning. The Fact, self-efficacy increased so creative thinking increased much and otherwise. The Teacher has important role of writing skill learning as facilitator or instructor so that the students like the learning and enhancement of trust.

Abstract

This research is designed as a research action performed to improve students' understanding of Arabic vocabularies by taking several actions aimed at improving (1) Students’ motivation in practicing self regulated learning, (2) Students’ readiness before entering class, and (3) Students’ involvement in teaching and  learning process. The subject of the research was the first semester female students of C-26 mubtadi' class in the Special Program of Arabic Language Learning. This research is conducted in a dynamic and complementary process consisting of four important cycles, for example: planning, action, observation, and reflection. From the analysis, it is revealed that there were some actions that positively affected the students' understanding of Arabic vocabularies.

Abstract

Digitalisasi dan bangkitnya generasi internet memberikan tantangan dalam bidang pendidikan. Siswa generasi Z cenderung menggunakan waktu mereka dalam kegiatan yang terkait dengan teknologi internet daripada fokus pada pembelajaran. Reward and punishment dianggap sebagai salah satu strategi yang efektif untuk memotivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan reward and punishment dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa generasi Z di MTS.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode  eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan reward and punishment berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini berdasarkan uji F, bahwa nilai F hitung  3.413 > nilai F tabel 3.35, Selanjutnya uji T diperoleh nilai Sig. (X1) sebesar 0.015 dan nilai Sig. (X2) sebesar 0.030 < 0.05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan reward and punishment yang tepat dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dengan syarat diterapkan secara bijak dan proporsional.

Abstract

The latest worrying phenomenon in society is the increasing polarization and extremism, which affects the behavior of the younger generation, including among students. To counteract this negative influence, Al Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School in Tuban implements language activities. Al Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School in Tuban implements language activities as a strategy to foster moderate character. This study aims to analyze the implementation of language activities and their impact on fostering the moderate character of students. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that Arabic speech fosters moderate character in students by promoting values of tolerance, nationalism, and anti-violence through practice and speech materials. Arabic debates, through the process of practice and debate themes, foster values of nationalism, tolerance, and anti-violence. Arabic carving fosters pride in local culture and a sense of love for the homeland through craftsmanship. Through practice and thematic exploration, Arabic drama can instill tolerance and nationalism in students. Strengthen a sense of pride in various regional specialties, which are a reflection of local culture and love for the homeland. Overall, language activities at Al Muhibbin Tuban Islamic Boarding School not only function as a means of improving language skills but also as a successful effort to form moderate characters, which are expected to contribute to society. The daily attitudes of students who respect each other are a testament to this.

Abstract

The learning of Arabic language in Indonesia heavily relies on the role of native speakers, who incorporate linguistic variations into classroom interactions. This article aims to explore the experiences of native Arabic-speaking lecturers in selecting and using language variations during the teaching process at UIN Malang, Indonesia. It also compares these strategies with past teaching practices in their home countries and then examines their perspectives on the future direction of Arabic language education.  In this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach with a narrative inquiry method that emphasizing an individual's story or life experience as the primary data in the research. The research data collection technique uses a narrative frame and interviews. To analyse the data, the researcher used the following steps: 1) data collected through narrative frame and interviews, 2) selected and categorized the information to simplify its presentation, 3) the data was presented by organizing the classified information based on the lecturers' teaching experiences which following a temporal pattern, 4) drawing conclusions. The results showed that: 1) Fusha (Modern Standard Arabic) is prioritized in education for its clarity, consistency, and universal comprehension, despite the daily use of ‘Amiyah (Colloquial Arabic). 2) Native Arabic-speaking lecturers adapt their teaching in Indonesia by simplifying Fusha but strictly avoid Indonesian, emphasizing full Arabic immersion for effective learning. 3) Arabic language education continues to emphasize Fusha to ensure linguistic integrity, effective communication, and standardized learning, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in Indonesia has a crucial role, with various steps that can improve the effectiveness of its teaching. This article aims to find out the role of native Arabic speakers in the language learning process, the language and cultural gaps that occur, and learning reflections for the future. In this study, the researcher uses a narrative study method that makes a person's life experience the main data. The research data collection technique uses a story framework and interviews. To analyse the data, the researcher used the following steps: 1) The researcher collects data through story frameworks and interviews, 2) selects and classifies the information to facilitate its presentation, and 3) presents the data by processing the classified information based on temporal aspects and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) Arabic plays an important role in Indonesian education, which can be improved by involving native speakers in teaching. 2) The language and cultural gap between Indonesia and other countries can be overcome by simplifying the language and adjusting teaching methods and learning environments. 3) Reflection on curriculum development, facilities, and technological utilisation can support Arabic language acquisition, followed by high motivation to improve students' skills.

Abstract

ملخص البحث: البحث هذا يهدف إلى تطوير كتاب "القواعد الأساسية في علم النحو" الذي يمكن أن يُحسن مهارة الكتابة للطلاب في مدرسة المتواسطة هاشم الأشعري مالانج. المنهج المستخدم في البحث هذا هو "البحث والتطوير" (R&D) بنموذج ADDIE الذي يتكون من خمس مراحل: التحليل، التصميم، التطوير، التنفيذ، والتقييم. أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن إعداد كتاب قواعد النحوية على أساس التعليم المشروط لروبرت م. غاني من خلال خمس مراحل، وهي: تحليل الاحتياجات: توفير شرح منظم، أمثلة، وتدريبات بهدف تعزيز فهم الطلاب. التصميم: يهدف إلى توفير راحة للقارئ.التطوير: إعداد المواد بطريقة منظمة تبدأ بجذب انتباه الطلاب ثم تعزيز المادة، مع توفير أمثلة وتدريبات لتعميق فهم قواعد النحوية. التنفيذ: يطبق على 15 طالباً من الصف السابع "ج".التقييم: يتضمن التحقق من قبل خبراء المادة واللغة والتصميم لضمان جودة وفعالية كتاب قواعد النحوية. الكلمات الرئيسة: التطوير، الكتاب القواعد النحوية، تعليم المشروط ميلس غانية Abstracts: This study aims to develop a book of Basic Rules of Nahwu Science that can improve students' maharah kitabah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hasyim Asy'ari. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this study indicate that the nahwu book developer based on Robert Milles Gagne's learning conditions consists of 5 stages, namely: Needs analysis, providing structured explanations, examples, exercises, to improve student understanding. Design, to provide comfort for readers. Development, the material is carried out by compiling the material in a structured manner, starting to attract students' attention to the reinforcement of the material, providing examples and exercises to deepen understanding of Nahwu rules. Implementation, used on 15 students. Evaluation, validation by material, language, and design experts to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the nahwu book developed. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap: Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwah Pengembangan buku nahwu berbasis kondisi pembelajaran Robert Milles Gagne terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu: Analisis kebutuhan, menyediakan penjelasan terstruktur, contoh, latihan, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Desain, untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi pembaca. Pengembangan, materi dilakukan dengan menyusun materi secara terstruktur, diawali menarik perhatian siswa sampai penguatan materi, menyediakan contoh dan latihan untuk memperdalam pemahaman kaidah Nahwu. Implementasi, digunakan pada 15 siswa. Evaluasi, validasi oleh ahli materi, Bahasa, dan desain guna memastikan kualitas dan efektivitas buku nahwu yang dikembangkan.
