Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made various changes in all aspects of life, such as economy, social, politics, lifestyle and education. This can be seen from the government urging the public to limit their activities and enforce self-isolation so as to encourage increased access to technology. Technology has become a very important role and is needed in the current situation because the government urges to reduce social activities. Likewise in the field of education, with the Covid-19 pandemic, all learning processes at all education levels are conducted online. This is the basis for the findings of several previous studies related to the emergence of several new terms used by the government and socialized to the public related to pandemics. From those several previous studies, the researchers saw that there was no research related to the level of public understanding of new terms that appeared during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of student understanding of new terms that emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a survey method for students at University of Dehasen Bengkulu using a questionnaire. From the research result, it can be concluded that most students at University of Dehasen Bengkulu, specifically Physical Education Study Program do not know the new terms. This is because many of Physical Education students are in remote areas which are very affected by the weather and electricity, so accessing information on TV and the internet often faces obstacles.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate how is sport students’ in Dehasen University understanding toward learning Bahasa Inggris Profesi using YouTube. This paper used a quantitative approach by using a survey method. The object of this study is sport students in University of Dehasen Bengkulu. The sample of this study is 105 students which learn English by online learning. The teacher applies video in YouTube as material besides using Modul Bahasa Inggris Profesi in learning process. The data collection technique used percentage by the students’ answer of questionnaire in google form. The conclusion showed that sports students can improve their understanding in learning English by watching video in YouTube and also read Modul Bahasa Inggris Profesi. It can be seen from the percentage of each questions in questionnaire and also from the result of student learning in Middle Examination and Final Examination. Although students live in remote area, they still can access the video on YouTubes and gc by their smartphone because the schedule of online learning of English Subject flexible. Abstract

The world of sports is closely related to English, where PJOK teachers are currently encouraged to be more creative and innovative so that students' knowledge and skills can develop optimally, even when they are in elementary school, one of which is mastering related English terms. with English. sport. Unfortunately, there are still many PJOK teachers who make mistakes in pronouncing several sports terms even though the vocabulary is actually already common among the public and even has familiar meanings. The UNIVED Bengkulu Physical Education PKM Team provided activities to strengthen mastery of English vocabulary to the Teacher Working Group (KKG) of PJOK Talo Induk and Ilir Talo Seluma Regency at SDN 09 Seluma with the aim of correcting pronunciation errors and increasing the capacity and quality of the English language. PJOK teacher regarding the use of English vocabulary. English that will be used in learning for elementary school students. This service activity brought benefits to the PJOK Talo Induk and Ilir Talo Teacher Working Groups of Seluma Regency in improving their pronunciation and mastery of English vocabulary regarding sports terms. Through this activity, participants, namely PJOK teachers, were able to understand the meaning of English terms in sports. The results of receiving benefits from community service can be seen from the enthusiasm of the participants during the activity, namely being active and responding positively to the material presented by the service team.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of kicking variation training on shooting skills in futsal games on female extracurricular himajas players at Dehasen University, Bengkulu. This type of research is experimental research with a sample of 20 players. The results of the study showed that there was a significant effect of the influence of kicking variation training to various targets in developing the shooting skills of futsal players in the female himajas futsal extracurricular. The results were stated in the calculated t value of 4.35 and t table (0.05) (19) 2.093, and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, and a percentage increase of 27%, so Ha was accepted. The shooting pretest data of female himajas futsal extracurricular players in the very poor category were 3 players with a percentage of 15%, the poor category were 14 players with a percentage of 70% and the moderate category were 3 players with a percentage of 15% and in the good and very good categories there were no players who got this category. Then the posttest shooting data was obtained for the Himajas female futsal extracurricular players in the very poor category with a percentage of 5%, the poor category with a percentage of 5% and the moderate category with a percentage of 9 players with a percentage of 45% and in the good category with a percentage of 5 players with a percentage of 25% and there were no players in this category who were very good.
