Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between the patient's family knowledge about emergency levels based on triage with the satisfaction of the patient's family in the Emergency Department of Sumedang Regional General Hospital. Methods: The research method uses correlational quantitative descriptive research using a cross sectional approach. The population is a family of 72 patients and the sampling technique uses accidental sampling. Data collection techniques use primary data by distributing questionnaires. The data were analyzed using frequency distribution calculations and the Chi-Square test Results: The results showed that the knowledge of the patient's family about the level of emergency based on triage was not good (12.5%), quite good (61.1%) and good (26.4%). Research also shows that the satisfaction of the patient's family in the Emergency Department is less satisfied (1.4%), quite satisfied (66.7%) and satisfied (31.9%). Research shows that there is a significant relationship (p-value 0.002) between the patient's family knowledge of emergency levels based on triage and the patient's family satisfaction in the Emergency Department. Conclusion: The results of this study are expected to provide information for hospitals to further improve education or strengthening information through print or digital media about emergency levels based on triage in the Emergency Department in order to provide positive support for increasing patient family satisfaction.

Abstract

Indonesia has a high accumulation of patient visits to the Emergency Room (ER), thus caring in the ER requires more attention to produce better quality nursing services. This study aims to see the effect of nurses' motivation and workload on caring behavior in the ER. The research method used is quantitative, with a correlation analytic research design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 37 nurse and patient respondents using accidental sampling techniques. The instrument used was the Gadar Caring Scale (GCS-46) questionnaire with frequency distribution data analysis and the Spearman Rank statistical test. The results showed that more than half of the nurses' motivation (56,76%) was in a good category and almost half of the nurses' workload was in the heavy category (40.54%). On the other hand, the level of nurses' caring was almost entirely in the moderate category (94.59%). In addition, there was a correlation between nurse’s motivation and caring as indicated by the correlation coefficient (r) and p-value of 0.55 and 0.0237, respectively. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis between nurses' workload and caring gave r and p-values ​​of 0.11 and 0.5121, respectively, indicating that there was no relationship between nurses' workload and nurses' caring in the ER.

Abstract

Nursing services are a service that has a big impact on hospital services, so it requires a high level of patient satisfaction to maintain and improve hospital services. Based on a study of the situation of the Nursing Management Profession at one of the hospitals in the Majalaya region in 2023, the patient satisfaction rate for nursing services was 78%, still far from the expected target of 95%. The situation study informed that patients experienced anxiety in facing the process of health problems, including 70% experiencing feelings of fear, 78% experiencing tension, 75% experiencing worry and 79% experiencing emotional changes. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between anxiety and patient satisfaction regarding nursing services at one of the hospitals in the Majalaya region.  The research uses a quantitative research method, descriptive correlation design, cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used incidental sampling of 70 respondents. Data collection used primary data by distributing an anxiety questionnaire (SRAS) with a Cronbach Alpha value of 0.964 and a modified Kotler and Armstrong (2016) patient satisfaction questionnaire with a Cronbach Alpha value of 0.977. The results showed that 61.4% of patients' anxiety was mild, 18.6% moderate, and 20% severe. The research results also showed that patient satisfaction was 20% low, 60% sufficient, and 20% high. The results of the p-value analysis in this study were 0.000, which shows that there is a relationship (of 81%) between anxiety and patient satisfaction regarding nursing services at one of the hospitals in the Majalaya region. The lower the level of patient anxiety, the higher the level of patient satisfaction regarding nursing services. Efforts are needed to identify and handle patient anxiety (through educating the patient's needs and relaxing) during the process of nursing services in order to obtain patient satisfaction.Keywords : Anxiety, Nursing, Patient, Satisfaction, Service

Abstract

Background: Postpartum mothers often face problems such as perineal wounds, surgery, and conditions that need to be watched out for. Lack of knowledge about wound care and emergency risks can lead to serious complications that affect maternal health and infant care. Health cadres have an important role in disseminating health information, but are often under-trained in providing appropriate education and support to postpartum mothers. This hinders the dissemination of accurate information, which can lead to inappropriate wound and emergency care, risking postpartum hemorrhage, infection, and embolism. Purpose: To improve the knowledge and skills of health cadres (Posyandu cadres) in providing education on wound care and emergency care for postpartum mothers to reduce the risk of complications. Method: The activity was carried out on November 15, 2024 in Cileunyi Wetan Village, Bandung Regency, attended by 32 cadres. The methods used included lectures, questions and answers, and demonstrations with ppt, leaflet, and video media. Results: Shows that the majority of cadres, 84.4%, managed to achieve a good category after participating in education. The increase from 59.4% before education to 84.4% after receiving education reflects the success of the program in improving cadre competence, educational activities ran smoothly, effectively and conducively. Participants were able to answer questions correctly. It is hoped that cadres who have participated in this activity can pass on information to the wider community, especially postpartum mothers. Conclusion: Community service activities by providing direct education are very effective and have a significant influence on increasing the knowledge, abilities, skills, and self-confidence of posyandu cadre mothers regarding wound care and emergency handling for postpartum mothers. Keywords: Emergency; Health education; Postpartum mothers; Wound care Pendahuluan: Ibu pasca melahirkan sering menghadapi masalah seperti luka perineum, bedah, dan kondisi yang perlu diwaspadai. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang perawatan luka dan risiko kegawatdaruratan dapat mengakibatkan komplikasi serius yang mempengaruhi kesehatan ibu dan perawatan bayi. Kader kesehatan memiliki peran penting dalam menyebarkan informasi kesehatan, namun seringkali kurang terlatih dalam memberikan edukasi dan dukungan yang tepat kepada ibu pasca melahirkan. Hal ini menghambat penyebaran informasi akurat, yang dapat menyebabkan penanganan luka dan kegawatdaruratan yang kurang tepat, berisiko menimbulkan perdarahan postpartum, infeksi, dan emboli.   Tujuan: Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader kesehatan (kader Posyandu) dalam memberikan edukasi perawatan luka dan penanganan kegawatdaruratan pada ibu pasca melahirkan untuk mengurangi resiko komplikasi. Metode: Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 15 November 2024 di Desa Cileunyi Wetan, Kabupaten Bandung, dihadiri oleh 32 kader. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah, tanya jawab, dan demonstrasi dengan media ppt, leaflet, dan video. Hasil: Menunjukkan mayoritas kader sebesar 84.4% berhasil mencapai kategori baik setelah mengikuti edukasi. Peningkatan dari sebesar 59.4%% pada sebelum edukasi menjadi sebesar 84.4% pada sesudah mendapatkan edukasi mencerminkan keberhasilan program dalam meningkatkan kompetensi kader, kegiatan edukasi berjalan lancar, efektif dan kondusif. Peserta dapat menjawab pertanyaan dengan benar. Diharapkan kader yang telah mengikuti kegiatan ini dapat meneruskan informasi kepada masyarakat luas, khususnya ibu pasca melahirkan. Simpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan pemberian edukasi langsung sangat efektif dan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, kemampuan, keterampilan, dan kepercayaan diri ibu kader posyandu mengenai perawatan luka dan penanganan kegawatdaruratan pada ibu pasca melahirkan.

Abstract

Nurses providing nursing services are the largest health workforce and services in health services. The results of the situation study informed that nursing services at Majalaya Regional Hospital still found patients complaining about a lack of caring nursing services and a lack of caring leadership management for nurses. The aim of this research is to explore caring behavior in nursing services at the Majalaya Regional General Hospital. The research method uses a mixed methods sequential exploratory strategy. Primary data collection uses data collection techniques by means of in-depth interviews distributing questionnaires. The research sample used a purposive sampling technique, conducted in-depth interviews with 7 nurses and 6 patients and distributed questionnaires to 30 nurses and 30 patients. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis (collaizi's 7-step) and univariate data analysis to calculate frequency data distribution. The research results include caring leadership, caring behavior of nurses and caring services to patients. Health services (nursing) require the synergy of 3 aspects of the role, namely the caring leadership style of the head of the room in managing nurses continuously in the caring behavior of nurses towards recipients of caring services (patients).  There is a need to strengthen caring aspects for nurse leaders and nurses in the form of training and regular observation, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of caring in nursing services.

Abstract

Warga desa merupakan sasaran mendasar pemeliharaan kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia dalam target kesehatan nasional. Informasi ditemukan bahwa kajian situasi warga di wilayah Desa Sirnajaya tertinggi warganya banyak mengalami penyakit tidak menular salah satunya adalah hipertensi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melaksanakan promosi dan preventif kesehatan tentang pemberian pendidikan kesehatan hipertensi pada warga di wilayah Desa Sirnajaya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pemaparan materi, diskusi dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan warga di wilayah Desa Sirnajaya tentang hipertensi dari kurang baik menjadi baik. Diperlukan sosialisasi secara berkala yang melibatkan banyak masyarakat dan kader serta warga diharapkan mengaplikasikannya dirumah dan melakukan penyebarluasan informasi terkait hipertensi.

Abstract

Mahasiswa keperawatan merupakan calon generasi tenaga kesehatan terbesar dalam fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan sehingga memerlukan proses bimbingan praktik keperawatan terbaik dari Clinical Instructor. Cilinical Instructor merupakan perawat profesional sebagai pembimbing kegiatan pendidikan keperawatan dilahan praktik atau fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan memberikan tata kelola kesesuaian antara pembelajaran selama di institusi pendidikan dengan kenyataan dilahan praktik atau dunia kerja (fasiltas pelayanan kesehatan) yang masih mengalami kesenjangan dalam penerapan asuhan keperawatan yang dirasakan mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman Clinical Instructor dalam proses pembelajaran praktik mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik indepth interview hingga mencapai saturasi data yang melibatkan 6 (enam) partisipan yang merupakan perawat pelaksana yang bekerja di ruang rawat inap dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode The Collaizi’s 7-step. Terdapat 5 (lima) tema besar yang diidentifikasi dari analisis tekstual yaitu tema rekruitasi, dampak peran, tanggung jawab, problem dan solving. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari pengalaman Cilinical Instructor tereksplorasi berbagai hal yang dihadapi yakni selain menjadi berperan sebagai perawat profesional dengan beban kerja yang sudah besar, harus berperan juga sebagai pembimbing mahasiswa dengan berbagai keterbatasan pelaksanaannya. Oleh karena itu direkomendasikan kebijakaan tata kelola ketenagakerjaan untuk setiap fasilitas kesehatan dengan kesediaan menerima praktik mahasiswa keperawatan melalui persiapan pembimbing Clinical Instructor yang teorganisir dan sinergisitas pembimbing akademik dari institusi pendidikan yang bekerja sama dengan Clinical Instructor.

Abstract

Objective: Vaginal discharge in adolescent girls is an asset of future reproductive health that has the potential for infection and death. Sukabumi Health Office seeks to improve reproductive health, especially in adolescents and identified one of the schools in Sukabumi Regency as having reproductive health problems regarding vaginal discharge and hygiene of the feminine area. To determine the relationship between knowledge about vaginal discharge and vaginal hygiene behavior with the incidence of flour albus in adolescent girls in Senior High Schools in Sukabumi Regency. Methods: Quantitative research method, descriptive correlation type, cross sectional approach. The population is all adolescent girls in one of the Senior High Schools in Sukabumi Regency totaling 109 people, the sample is determined by the Lameshaw formula of 52 adolescent girls selected by random sampling. Data were taken using a questionnaire and using univariate frequency distribution calculation analysis and chi-square bivariate analysis Results: The results showed that almost half (28.8%) of adolescent girls had poor knowledge of vaginal discharge, almost half (38.5%) of adolescent girls had poor vaginal hygiene behavior and most (57.7%) of adolescent girls experienced vaginal discharge. There is a relationship between knowledge about vaginal discharge (p-value 0.038) and vaginal hygiene behavior (p-value 0.010) with the incidence of flour albus in female high school adolescents in Sukabumi Regency. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between knowledge about vaginal discharge and vaginal hygiene behavior with the incidence of flour albus in female adolescents and it is recommended to increase the strengthening of digital-based education by health centers by nurses and midwives about flour albus health education and vaginal hygiene behavior training programs
