Abstract

Farms and plantations have the potential to thrive in various Lampung locations, including Pesawaran, Pringsewu, South Lampung, Tulang Bawang, and Bandar Lampung city. Lampung Province has a reasonably significant and abundant potential for agricultural natural resources, including the potential for agricultural business development, as shown in the development of banana, corn, cassava, and oyster mushroom production. One of the manufacturers is Lampung Province. Poultry farming is one of the most popular enterprises in the livestock sector, because it can be started on a small size and scaled up to a large scale. Laiding hens, quail cultivation, ducks, and catfish farming are some of the livestock sub-key sector's commodities in Lampung Province. The goal of this research is to identify the potential of livestock and plantation businesses in various locations of Lampung, revenue and income, features of business feasibility, and whether or not business developments in these areas are practicable. This research method employs a quantitative description method. This survey activity employs a direct approach with observation and interview techniques as a data gathering instrument. The information gathered is both primary and secondary. Based on the findings of the identification of business opportunities in the livestock and plantation sectors conducted in various locations throughout Lampung, it can be concluded that all of the businesses studied in this study are viable to pursue in terms of BEP, ROI, R/C Ratio, and Payback Periods.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises, or BUMDes, are local business institutions that use village resources to enhance the village economy. However, in numerous locations where BUMDes already exist, some of these BUMDes are not working smoothly and are inactive. As a result, the construction of a BUMDes business unit must be tailored to the capabilities of the community. The purpose of this research is to explore more into the role of BUMDes for SMEs in agriculture and livestock. This study employed a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This study's data is derived from primary sources. While data gathering is accomplished by the use of observation, interviews, and documentation. According to the study's findings, BUMDes Purworejo and BUMDes Lugusari have been able to support the community's economy in their villages, where the majority of residents work in the agricultural and livestock industries. BUMDes Purworejo and BUMDes Lugusari contribute to the village economy through business units such as PAMDes, Quail Farms, Village Markets, and Pond Management Businesses.

Abstract

Manajemen merupakan hal yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam menunjang segala hal, terutama dalam pengelolaan administrasi sebuah desa. Dalam hal ini, tentunya sebuah desa memiliki permasalahan mulai dari sumber daya manusia, pengelolaan sumber daya alam, ataupun pengelolaan administrasi desa yang kurang optimal. Belum terlaksanaya pengelolaan administrasi desa yang optimal, menjadi salah satu pokok persoalan yang dihadapi aparatur desa di Desa Harapan Jaya, Kecamatan Way Ratai, Kabupaten Pesawaran, sehingga perlu adanya pelatihan dalam pengelolaan administrasi desa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan FGD. Adapun jenis pelatihan yang diberikan berupa pemberian materi manajemen administrasi desa yang dilaksanakan pada 08 Juni 2022 di balai desa Harapan Jaya. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini hasil yang dicapai yaitu peningkatan pemahaman aparatur desa dalam melakukan administrasi desa yang efektif dan efisien. Adapun saran setelah pengabdian ini adalah agar kedepannya para aparatur desa dapat diberikan pelatihan untuk pengembangan diri seperti skill penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pengelolaan administrasi pemerintahan desa.

Abstract

The struggle against the hegemony of rulers and extractive companies is still being carried out by indigenous people around the world. Samin is one of the indigenous populations that is still struggling to defend their territory from the establishment of a cement factory. Through the ideological strength and support from several parties, Samin was able to see a political opportunity to build a resistance movement. This study uses a social movement paradigm, by looking at political opportunities in the resistance movement. This study aims to determine the problems behind the birth of the Samin movement. The research methodology is carried out by in-depth interviews and participatory observation with informants and uses secondary data in the form of information made available in articles or books. The findings show that the active and open resistance carried out by the Samin community was caused by the influence of political opportunities in the reform era. Some actors can mobilize the masses, form organizations, and network broadly so that it is possible for resistance to occur. Actors are also good at raising issues around the destruction of nature, shifts in the social order, inappropriate laws, and threats to livelihood. There is influence from the ideology of past movements in the form of covert resistance which later transformed into modern movements.

Abstract

The large number of graduates are not channeled into the fields or expertise that they already have, there are limitations in finding job vacancy information for fresh graduate students so that an application or system is needed that can recommend them in selecting job vacancies to be taken. This research aims to find out the degree of effectiveness of jobstreet websites as a job search portal to the information needs of fresh graduation students in Bandar Lampung. The variables used are website effectiveness (X) as independent variable and information needs (Y) as the dependent variable, this type of research is exploratory research with a quantitative approach to its research object is a fresh graduate student in Bandar Lampung. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a sample of 100 respondents. It is descriptively analyzed using the SPSS version 26 program. The partial test result between the jobstreet website effectiveness variable and the information needs variable was a significance value of 0 0.001 with a t-count of t t-table of 13,310 > 1,661 so that it could be interpreted that there was a positive and significant effect between jobstreet website effectiveness and information needs. The regression coefficient is 0.189 which means that every 1% increase in website effectiveness (X) will increase the information requirement (Y) will increase by 0.189. The effectiveness calculation results show that the jobstreet website is considered to be very effective in meeting the user's information needs with an effectiveness score of 87%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence cognitive dissonance theory on consumer behavior towards purchasing luxury products. According to cognitive dissonance theory, a person will experience dissonance when there is a mismatch between their thoughts, beliefs, emotions, values, and attitudes. This study collected data from luxury product customers in Indonesia to assess the formation of cognitive dissonance in them using quantitative methods with 122 respondents as a sample. The data presented comes from the distribution of online questionnaires which are then analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and linear regression test forms. The research findings interpret that there is a significant influence of cognitive dissonance theory on consumer behavior in purchasing luxury products. The results of this study confirm that when consumers experience a mismatch between their thoughts, beliefs, emotions, values, and attitudes when buying luxury products, they will try to reduce the dissonance. This research provides important implications for luxury product marketers to understand consumer psychological factors, such as cognitive dissonance, and develop marketing strategies that can help increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

Pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) seringkali menghadapi tantangan karena faktor-faktor seperti kurangnya pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan kemampuan dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia, dan pemilihan usaha BUMDes yang tidak memperhitungkan potensi keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh desa, serta kurangnya keikutsertaan warga desa dalam menyampaikan aspirasi positif. Akibatnya, BUMDes tidak mampu memaksimalkan pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada pejabat desa tentang pembentukan BUMDes sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan potensi desa, mengidentifikasi potensi desa dan merumuskan bentuk usaha yang dapat dilakukan melalui BUMDes di Kecamatan Buay Bahuga, Kabupaten Waykanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Mentoring dan Pendampingan BUMDes Desa Buay Bahuga Kabupaten Way Kanan melalui diskusi dalam forum pertemuan desa dan menyusun rencana usaha. Selain dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pemangku kepentingan tentang pembentukan BUMDes, Hasil dari latihan ini dapat mengidentifikasi bentuk usaha BUMDes yang sesuai dengan potensi unggulan desa dan menyusun prioritas rencana usaha BUMDes. Rencana bisnis BUMDes yang telah memperhatikan aspirasi masyarakat dan potensi desa dapat memetakan potret desa yang lebih akurat, dan direkomendasikan untuk ditindaklanjuti dan dilaksanakan sebagai usaha ekonomi produktif yang dapat membantu dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Pengabdian berhasil membantu pengurus BUMDes untuk memetakan potensi desa dan membangun usaha dari potensi desa. Management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) often faces challenges due to factors such as a lack of knowledge, understanding, and ability in managing human resources, and the selection of BUMDes businesses that do not take into account the potential advantages possessed by the village, as well as the lack of participation of village residents in conveying positive aspirations. As a result, BUMDes is unable to maximize the economic growth of village communities. This community service activity aims to share understanding and knowledge with village officials regarding the formation of BUMDes in accordance with village needs and potentials, identifying village potentials and formulating forms of business that can be carried out through BUMDes in Buay Bahuga District, Waykanan Regency. The method used in this service is Mentoring and Assistance for BUMDes in Buay Bahuga Village, Way Kanan Regency through discussions in village meeting forums and preparing business plans. Apart from being able to increase stakeholders' knowledge and understanding regarding the formation of BUMDes, the results of this exercise can identify BUMDes business forms that are in accordance with the superior potential of the village and develop priorities for BUMDes business plans. A BUMDes business plan that takes into account community aspirations and village potential can map a more accurate portrait of the village and is recommended for follow-up and implementation as a productive economic venture that can help empower the village community's economy. Devotion succeeded in helping BUMDes administrators to map village potential and build businesses from village potential.

Abstract

 South Korea has successfully utilized digital media to promote its popular culture as part of its cultural diplomacy strategy. The popularity of South Korean culture in various countries, including Indonesia, emerged in the Korean wave or Hallyu phenomenon. This shows how cultural globalization can shape international relations and social dynamics in the digital era. This research aimed to analyze how the Indonesian government responds to the spread of the Korean wave and what aspects drive the government's response. This research used the concept of intersubjectivity (inter-subject interaction) in the perspective of constructivism according to Alexander Wendt and a qualitative approach with primary data collection techniques through interviews and secondary data through journals, previous research, archival documentation, and websites. The research was analyzed using six main steps according to Bryman. The results showed that the Indonesian government tends to give a positive and open response to the spread of the Korean wave while still paying attention to the regulations that apply in Indonesia. This response when analyzed using the concept of inter-subject interaction is driven by several aspects such as history, interaction, and interests. The results of the study are expected to provide an understanding of how the Indonesian government responds to the rapid development of foreign cultures while at the same time the government is faced with the challenge of maintaining the existence of local culture and popularizing the culture of its own country.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh social influence, brand image, dan social media marketing Instagram terhadap minat dalam menggunakan layanan telemedicine Halodoc pada generasi zilenial (gen z) di Lampung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode explanatory research. Penelitian ini melibatkan populasi Gen Z di Lampung dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk mengumpulkan 100 responden. Data primer dan data sekunder adalah sumber data yang digunakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa social influence secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat menggunakan layanan telemedicine Halodoc, sedangkan brand image dan social media marketing Instagram secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat menggunakan layanan telemedicine Halodoc. Namun, social influence, brand image, dan social media marketing Instagram secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap minat menggunakan layanan telemedicine Halodoc. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of social influence, brand image, and Instagram social media marketing on interest in using Halodoc telemedicine services in the zillennial generation (gen z) in Lampung. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method. This study involved the Gen Z population in Lampung using purposive sampling technique to collect 100 respondents. Primary data and secondary data are the data sources used. Data were collected through questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that social influence partially does not have a significant effect on interest in using Halodoc telemedicine services, while brand image and Instagram social media marketing partially have a significant effect on interest in using Halodoc telemedicine services. However, social influence, brand image, and social media marketing Instagram simultaneously affect the interest in using Halodoc telemedicine services.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing public awareness of environmental issues that encourage companies to adopt green marketing, including through green advertising strategies. This study aims to measure and explain the effectiveness of green advertising on The Body Shop cosmetic products using the Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share (AISAS) model. In addition, the AISAS model was chosen because it is relevant in mapping consumer behavior in the digital era, which includes attention, interest, information search, purchasing actions, and sharing experiences. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, with a survey method through a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses a non-probability method with a purposive sampling type. Data were analyzed using SPSS 27 and MS Excel software. The results show that green advertising of The Body Shop cosmetic products is considered effective in influencing consumers with an overall average score of 4.02, which is in the "Effective" category. This advertisement succeeded in attracting attention, building interest, encouraging information searches, influencing purchasing actions, and encouraging consumers to share information. These findings provide theoretical contributions to the green marketing literature and practical contributions to the development of more effective green advertising strategies.
