Abstract

The development of an automatic hydroponic system in the Senggarang area, Tanjungpinang began with regional observation and interviews at the Senggarang Village Office to identify existing problems and potentials. The purpose of developing hydroponic plants with automatic water fillers is to reduce public expenditure on buying food, especially vegetable ingredients, and minimize places to grow crops. The method used in the development of hydroponic plants with automatic water filling uses a descriptive method. The implementation of an automatic water filling system using Arduino Uno, relays, water pumps, and ultrasonic sensors has shown satisfactory results. The system works consistently by turning off the pump when the water level reaches 2-3 cm and turning it back on when the water level drops to 11 cm. The test results showed a stable reading with the pump off at a distance of 2.07 cm and on at a range of 11.17-11.63 cm prove that the system can work effectively without manual supervision.

Abstract

The Great Mosque of Central Java, in Semarang is one of the most well known places of worship and religious tourism destinations, attracting many visitors for both prayer and the enjoyment of its beauty. This study aims to analyze the comfort of pedestrian circulation within the Great Mosque of Central Java, particularly focusing on the path leading to the main prayer room. The research examines the impact of circulation patterns on visitor activities and how vehicle parking influences pedestrian movement around the mosque. Additionally, climate factors such as temperature, humidity, and solar radiation play a role in determining visitor comfort when entering the mosque. This study provides an overview of how these factors contribute to the thermal comfort of visitors in the mosque area.

Abstract

Pariwisata memegang peranan penting dalam mendukung perekonomian, melestarikan budaya, dan memberdayakan masyarakat, khususnya negara Indonesia yang kaya akan destinasi wisata. Sektor pariwisata saat ini masih menghadapi tantangan terutama pada kurangnya minat untuk membuat konten media sosial sebagai sarana promosi wisata. Tantangan ini bisa diatasi dengan solusi edukasi dan promosi wisata berbasis digital. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya pariwisata lokal dan memperkuat daya tarik destinasi wisata melalui pelatihan pembuatan konten media sosial. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ditujukan kepada warga setempat di Pantai Gaseng Tanjungpinang, Kepulauan Riau dengan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan konten media sosial untuk promosi pariwisata Pantai Gaseng. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari peserta yang aktif berdiskusi dan menghasilkan konten media sosial. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan wawasan peserta terkait potensi pariwisata lokal dan teknologi digital sekaligus mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi inklusif yang berkelanjutan. Meski demikian, sinergi dan kolaborasi antara pemerintah, pelaku usaha, dan Masyarakat juga diperlukan untuk dapat mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi digital yang mendukung pariwisata di Kota Tanjungpinang.
