Abstract

This study aims to reveal (1) the history of the establishment of the Fatuleu Kingdom in 1913, (2) the political, economic and social conditions of the Fatuleu Kingdom during the reign of King Kooi Thaiboko from 1913 to 1930. The research method used ihistorical research employing heuristic steps, historical criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The research findings indicate that (1) the history of the establishment of the Fatuleu in 1913 began with the Bipolo War and the defeat of King Sonbai by the Dutch. (2) The political structure of the Fatuleu Kingdom consisted of the following: the King (usif), Fetor (ate), Temukung, and the Community (to). The economic sector of the Fatuleu Kingdom community was very prosperous because it had abundant agricultural and livestock products, coupled with King Kooi Thaiboko's policy to build roads, bridges and open fields to improve the economy of his people.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) How was the history of the Kupang government under Resident Jacob Arnoldus Hazaart in 1807-1810, 1814, 1819-1832, (2) How was the development of Kupang in the political, social, cultural and economic fields under the government of Resident Jacob Arnoldus Hazaart in 1807-1810, 1814, 1819-1832. This study is a historical analysis carried out with the steps of determining the topic, heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of the study show, (1) Jacob Arnoldus Hazaart ruled as a resident in Kupang for three periods, namely from 1807-1810, 1814, 1819-1832. In 1810 the Dutch placed Jacob Arnoldus Hazaart as a resident in the Kupang region, (2) The development of Kupang in the political field, during the British occupation of Kupang (1812-1816) even though the region was under British control. Hazaart maintained the Dutch administration and played an important role in maintaining the stability of the government in the Kupang region, in the social field, the native people in Kupang were Helong, they interacted with other tribes in Kupang during the reign of the Hazaart resident.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve history learning outcomes by applying a tournament teamwork model using a treasure hunt medium. The type of research used was classroom action research (CAR). The results of the first cycle test showed that 21 students who completed the task had a presentation (60%), while 14 students who did not complete it had a presentation (40%). Based on the analysis of the 35 students who took the cycle II exam, 29 students completed their presentations (83%). From these results, the researcher stated that the classroom action study was terminated because the compliance target had been achieved, and it could be concluded that the application of the cooperative team tournament game model with treasure hunt media could improve history learning outcomes in 10th grade social studies students at SMA Negeri 3 Kupang Timur

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning activities and learning outcomes in history, particularly in the material on the arrival of Japan in Indonesia, through the use of the lottery card cooperative learning model. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). With the use of the lottery card learning model in this learning process, it can be seen that the classroom action research (CAR) conducted shows the percentage of scores obtained in each cycle. Thus, the conclusion of this study is that the use of the lottery card cooperative learning model can improve the history learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS 2 at Oinlasi State High School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the history of the Portuguese entry into Solor in 1561, the background of the resistance of the Solor people against the Portuguese in 1613-1645, and the course of the resistance between the Solor people and the Portuguese in 1613-1645. This study uses historical methods. The results of this study show that (1) The history of the Portuguese entry into Solor Lohayong in the 16th century AD (1561). (2) the background of the resistance of the Solor people against the Portuguese in 1613-1645 includes 3) The course of the resistance of the Solor people against the Portuguese in 1613-1645.
