Abstract

This study aims to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the SETS-based environmental pollution module with Islamic values ​​in improving students' scientific literacy. This type of research is research and development (R&D) that uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects to test the developed module were 39 students and three expert lecturers consisting of science material experts, Islamic religious material experts, and media experts. The research instruments were expert validation questionnaires, legibility questionnaires, gaps test questions, and scientific literacy test questions. The expert validation data analysis showed the average score on the feasibility aspects, which were considered very valid. The readability questionnaire analysis describes the module as having excellent readability. This result is in line with the results of the gap test analysis that the module is easy for students to understand. The N-gain values ​​for the three aspects of scientific literacy are 0.46, 0.45, and 0.38 in the medium category, while the other element is 0.26 in the low class. Based on the analysis results, the environmental pollution module SETS-based with Islamic values ​​was very suitable for learning. It was effective in improving three aspects of scientific literacy.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk peningkatkan kualitas praktik mengajar mahasiswa calon guru melalui mata kuliah Pengembangan Metode Pembelajaran (PM) 1 di IAIN Palangka Raya. Metode pengembangan instrumen penilaian praktik delapan keterampilan dasar mengajar digunakan sebagai pendekatan utama dalam kegiatan ini. Instrumen ini dikembangkan berdasarkan pedoman kurikulum mata kuliah PM 1 dan pedoman standar kompetensi guru, kemudian diterapkan dalam praktik mengajar mahasiswa. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa calon guru telah menunjukkan kemampuan yang memadai dalam sebagian besar aspek yang dinilai, namun masih terdapat area di mana perbaikan diperlukan, seperti dalam keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran serta mengelola kelas. Diskusi mendalam dilakukan untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kualitas praktik mengajar mahasiswa, dan langkah-langkah untuk meningkatkan kualitas praktik mengajar dibahas secara intensif. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan arahan yang berharga bagi pengembangan program pendidikan guru di IAIN Palangka Raya. Dengan meningkatkan kualitas praktik mengajar mahasiswa, akan tercipta calon guru yang lebih siap dan mampu untuk menghadapi tuntutan dunia pendidikan yang semakin kompleks. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini juga dapat menjadi model yang dapat diterapkan secara luas di berbagai institusi pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Social Media Marketing on MS Glow skincare buyinginterest in social media users in Serang City. The method in this study uses quantitative methods while collecting data using questionnaires that are directly distributed to respondents; the population in this study was 90 employees while sampling specific criteria including skincare buyers and Ms Glow skincare users at DP3AKB, resulting in a total of 79 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, followed by hypothesis testing using SPSS. This study also aims to prove the amount of influence social media marketing has on buying interest. The results obtained based on field findings as well as the results of the calculation, namely on the Effect of Social Media Marketing on Buying Interest in MS Glow Skincare on DP3AKB Employees in Serang City, that Social Media Marketing has a positive and significant effect on buying interest. This is indicated by a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. So H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted, meaning that the social media marketing variable positively and significantly affects buying interest

Abstract

Although there is an increasing amount of research on assessing teacher emotions in general education, there is still a lack of appropriate measurement tools to measure mathematics teachers' emotions. The aim of this research is to develop an instrument for mathematics teachers' emotions and produce a ready-to-use instrument. The analytical method used is Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The sample used consisted of 310 mathematics teachers. The sample involved teachers from several madrasah ibtidaiyah in DKI Jakarta. Confirmatory Factor Analysis produces 5 factors, namely, Love, Joy, Anger, Sadness and Fear which produces 29 fit items. Thus, this assessment instrument is valid and reliable for use as a measuring tool for mathematics teachers' emotions.

Abstract

Every child has the right to receive education tailored to their needs, including those with special needs. Many teachers still need help designing learning activities for inclusion classes. This research aims to analyze the readiness of PAUD teachers to hold inclusive classes. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach. The subjects of this research were 50 PAUD teachers. The method used to collect data was a questionnaire with the help of Google Forms. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. The questionnaire consists of five aspects and 42 statements, measured using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique is quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that most PAUD teachers understand the concept of inclusive education, although some require improvement through training. However, teachers' awareness of the importance of inclusive education needs to be appreciated. Despite the transition's uncertainty, ECCE teachers demonstrate readiness to adopt inclusive practices. The success of inclusive education requires systematic support that includes collaboration, training, and strategic approaches to overcome challenges and guide PAUD teachers toward success in implementing inclusive education. This research implies that PAUD teachers' readiness to facilitate inclusive classes is critical. This readiness is essential to create enjoyable learning activities.

Abstract

Abstrak Karya tulis ilmiah merupakan salah satu karya yang wajid di penuhi mahasiswa guna menyelesaikan pendidikan jenjang sarjana. Karya tulis ilmiah tersebut dapat berupa skripsi dan juga artikel ilmiah yang disusun berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari skripsinya. Akhir-akhir ini kecenderungan mahasiswa untuk memilih menyusun artikel sebagai pengganti sidang atau ujian skripsi semakin tinggi. Mahasiswa merasa lebih memilih menyusun artikel ilmiah daripada sidang skripsi. Sayangnya tingginya kecenderungan mahasiswa tersebut belum diimbangi dengan kemampuan mereka dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah yang baik dan layak untuk dipublikasikan. Dimana artikel ilmiah yang dihasilkan tersebut pertama minim referensi karena mengandalkan copy paste dari skripsi, tanpa diperpadat dan perkaya lagi dengan referensi yang sesuai dengan topik yang diangkat pada artikel ilmiah, kedua similiarity dari artikel yang dihasilkan sangat tinggi rata-rata di atas 50 %, disini terlihat bahwa mahasiswa sangat kesulitan dalam menyajikan ide atau dan memparafarse kalimat yang dirujuk dalam artikel, ketiga mahasiswa kesulitan mencari dan mencantumkan sumber primer dalam tulisan mereka, yang terjadi dalam satu naskah artikel banyak dicantumkan sumber rujukan sekunder yaitu kutipan pendapat si A dalam si B, dan seterusnya. Tiga point utama ini menyebabkan kualitas artikel ilmiah yang dihasilkan mahasiswa tingkat akhir masih sangat rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini tentu bertujuan  untuk  membantu dan memudahkan serta memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa bagaimana menulis karya ilmiah yang berkualitas  dengan memperhatikan teknik sitasi paraphrase yang baik Tahapan dalam kegiatan workshop ini yaitu mulai tahap koordinasi, tahap promosi, tahap pelaksanaan serta tahap evaluasi dan pelaporan. Kegiatan workshop ini dilakukan di kampus 2 FKIP Universitas Mataram pada tanggal 24 Agustus 2024. Berdasarkan hasil pretes dan postes terdapat peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa peserta Teknik Sitasi dan Parafrase Guna Menghasilkan Karya Ilmiah Yang Berkualitas serta berdasarkan hasil respon peserta terhadap kegiatan  workshop yang dilakukan rata-rata mahassiwa memberikan respon yang positif.   Kata kunci: sitasi; parafrase; karya tulis ilmiah Abstract Scientific writing is one of the works that students must complete in order to complete undergraduate level education. The scientific writing can be in the form of a thesis and also a scientific article that is compiled based on the research results of their thesis. Lately, the tendency of students to choose to write articles as a substitute for thesis defense or exams has increased. Students feel they prefer to write scientific articles rather than thesis defense. Unfortunately, the high tendency of students has not been balanced by their ability to write good scientific articles that are worthy of publication. Where the scientific articles produced firstly have minimal references because they rely on copy paste from the thesis, without being further condensed and enriched with references appropriate to the topic raised in the scientific article, secondly the similarity of the articles produced is very high, on average above 50%, here It can be seen that students have great difficulty in presenting ideas or paraphrasing sentences referred to in the article, the three students have difficulty finding and including primary sources in their writing, what happens in one article manuscript is that many secondary reference sources are included, namely quotations of A's opinion in B, and so on. These three main points cause the quality of scientific articles produced by final year students to be very low. This community service activity certainly aims to help and facilitate and provide students with an understanding of how to write quality scientific papers by paying attention to good paraphrase citation techniques. The stages in this workshop activity are starting from the coordination stage, promotion stage, implementation stage and evaluation and reporting stage. This workshop activity was carried out at campus 2 FKIP, Mataram University on August 24, 2024. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, there was an increase in the understanding of participating students on Citation and Paraphrase Techniques to Produce Quality Scientific Works and based on the results of participant responses to the workshop activities carried out, on average students gave a positive response Keywords: citations; paraphrasing; scientific writing

Abstract

This study explores waste management literacy in secondary school communities in Tangerang City, Indonesia, using the Knowledge, Attitude, Behavior (KAB) model within the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) framework. Adopting a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design, the research begins with a quantitative survey of 357 participants including principals, teachers, staff, and students from seven schools near the Rawa Kucing Landfill applying multiple regression and correlation analyses to evaluate relationships between knowledge, attitude, and behavior. Results show that while knowledge positively influences behavior, attitude unexpectedly correlates negatively, revealing an attitude-behavior gap. Although respondents generally hold positive attitudes toward waste management, these attitudes do not consistently translate into active engagement. The study's qualitative phase uses interviews to identify barriers contributing to this gap, uncovering individual, social, and structural obstacles such as inadequate facilities and established waste practices that hinder effective waste management. Advocating for a comprehensive approach, the study recommends providing schools with 3R bins and training, sustainable behavior modeling by teachers, alignment of municipal waste collection with school efforts, family reinforcement of waste practices, and curricular integration of waste management. This coordinated approach seeks to bridge the attitude-behavior gap and promote sustainable waste practices across school communities in Tangerang City.

Abstract

By utilizing technological advances, the Indonesian government has developed innovative online-based Samsat services, namely E-Samsat (Electronic One-Stop Single Administration System). This program was launched to increase taxpayer compliance and make it easier to pay motor vehicle tax without having to come directly to the Samsat office. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the E-Samsat program and the quality of tax services on motor vehicle taxpayer compliance at the Bandung II Soreang Regency Samsat Office. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data obtained by this research, apart from secondary data, also includes primary data, namely distributing questionnaires to 100 registered motor vehicle taxpayers in Bandung Regency. The results of this research show that the implementation of the E-Samsat program and the quality of tax services each have a positive and significant influence on motor vehicle taxpayer compliance. This research also shows that the government needs to increase socialization and education regarding E-Samsat to increase its adoption. In this way, the digital-based tax system can be further optimized.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of religious moderation and its indicators as formulated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, based on selected verses from the Qur’an and interpreted through the perspective of Tafsir Al-Munir. The research employs a descriptive-analytical method, in which the author gathers relevant Qur’anic verses and analyzes them using Tafsir Al-Munir as the primary source. Additional data are obtained from classical and contemporary tafsir literature, as well as other supporting scholarly works relevant to the topic. This study emphasizes the importance of balance in the lives of Muslims through the concept of wasathiyyah, national commitment, and the principle of tolerance. Violence and radicalism are considered threats to social harmony, while openness to local culture is encouraged as long as it remains in accordance with Islamic law. In conclusion, balance, tolerance, and appreciation of culture and nationalism are key to building a harmonious and religious society. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami moderasi agama secara umum dan indikator-indikatornya yang dirumuskan oleh Kementerian Agama RI berdasarkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an dan tafsir menurut perspektif Tafsir Al-Munir . Dalam penulisan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Penulis mengumpulkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang terkait, kemudian menganalisisnya dengan menggunakan kitab Tafsir Al-Munir sebagai sumber utama. Sedangkan data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dirujuk dari kitab-kitab tafsir dan buku-buku lain yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya keseimbangan dalam kehidupan umat Islam melalui konsep wasathiyyah, komitmen kebangsaan, serta prinsip toleransi. Kekerasan dan radikalisme dianggap sebagai ancaman bagi harmoni sosial, sementara keterbukaan terhadap budaya lokal dianjurkan selama tetap sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Kesimpulannya, keseimbangan, toleransi, dan penghargaan terhadap budaya dan kebangsaan menjadi kunci dalam membangun masyarakat yang harmonis dan religius.
