Abstract

Introductions : Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is one of the impacts caused by the use of IUDs, namely IUDs. The cause of UTI itself is dominated by the presence of microorganisms that infect the urinary tract. Pseudomonas is one of the bacteria that causes the third largest UTI after E. Coli and Enterococcus. Pseudomonas is capable of infecting the urinary tract when it is inserted, besides that the bacteria can also enter due to improper cleaning techniques. Mulberry leaves are believed to have antibacterial properties such as flavonids, tannins, alkaloids and terpenoids, which can inhibit the growth of bacteria. Methods : The method used in this study uses laboratory experimental methods, by measuring the cause and effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Using a post-test only control group design approach. Result : The results showed that there was an inhibition zone formed at the smallest concentration of 60% with the medium category of 8,4 mm and the widest inhibition zone was found at a concentration of 100% with the strong category of 12, 6 mm. The results of the analysis test using One Way Anova proved that there was a significant effect of giving mulberry leaf extract on the inhibition of Pseudomonas with a P value of 0.000. Pos Hoc’s test results showed the most influential concentration in each treatment, namely 100%. Conclusions : From the research results, it was found that concentrations of 100% were the most effective concentrations in inhibiting the growth of Pseudomonas bacteria.

Abstract

Introduction: Labor begins with the process of opening and effacement of the cervix. Opening and thinning depends on the contraction that occurs. More frequent contractions will speed up labor. If the contractions slow down, the length of labor will be slower. One effort to improve contractions is by doing body movements or light exercise through prenatal yoga. Prenatal yoga is an exercise program for healthy pregnant women to prepare the mother's physical condition by maintaining the condition of the muscles and joints that play a role in the birthing process. Objectives: the type of research carried out is quantitative research, with an experimental research design. The research design is in the form of a two group pre test and post test design. The population consisted of 50 primigravida pregnant women. The research sample was 40 respondents. With a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. The 40 respondents were divided into two groups, namely the RND control group and the Prenatal Yoga experimental group. Methods: Data analysis using univariate techniques in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate using the Shapiro Wilk test and independent T test Results: Data analysis using frequency distribution showed that the age of the research subjects ranged from 18-30 years, where the average age of the Prenatal Yoga group was slightly older than the RND group. Bivariate data analysis shows that the Independent Sample Test Results are ρ=2.11. Conclusions: There is a significant difference in the length of the first stage of labor in the active phase in primigravida between Prenatal Yoga and RND. So the use of prenatal yoga needs to be developed and given to mothers who are about to give birth.

Abstract

Childbirth in a woman begins when the uterus contracts with an increasingly frequent intensity. Labor that occurs in women who will give birth causes changes in the cervical area and affects the discharge of blood and mucus. Gymball is physical therapy or simple exercises using a ball. This exercise is applied to mothers who are pregnant, giving birth and postpartum. The ball used during labor in the active phase 1 has a big role in advancing labor, lowering the head or lowest fetal position, and reducing pain. The method used is a quantitative study, using a one group approach research design with a posttest only control design. In this design one group performs an assessment before and after being given treatment for a certain period of time. The population of mothers who gave birth was 40 respondents, with a sample of 34 respondents. With the sampling technique that is simple random sampling. Furthermore, prerequisite tests were carried out in the form of data normality tests and data linearity tests. If the prerequisite test is met, it can be continued with the T test. The results of the study obtained a pre-test normality test of 0.244 and a post-test of 0.200. The significance value is greater than 0.05 so that the data is normally distributed. The linearity test shows that the calculated value is greater than 0.05, namely p = 0.429. So that the prerequisite test is fulfilled. For the value of the T. test results of 0.000, p value <0.05, so there is an effect of gymball and herbal compresses on pain intensity. It is hoped that midwives and other health workers can apply non-pharmacological treatments, namely gymballs and herbal compresses to provide comfort to mothers who are giving birth.

Abstract

Abstract Knowledge is something that comes from the five senses and experience by reason that arises spontaneously. As for its nature consists of 3 things, namely, spontaneous, subjective and intuitive. Thus knowledge is also true/honest because it is in accordance with the existing reality. Growth and development is a dynamic process throughout human life. So that development monitoring needs to be done early on so that you can immediately recognize disorders in the development of movement, speech and language abilities as well as socialization and independence in children that take place optimally according to their age. Like children aged 4-6 years who are able to run and jump, jump with big steps, swing, climb, and even somersault. This is a correlation analytic study with a Cross Sectional approach and Simple Random Sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 70 kindergarten children aged 4-6 years and their mothers using questionnaires and KPSP. Furthermore, scoring, tabulating and statistical analysis were carried out. The results showed that 65% of mothers had good knowledge and 65% of Kindergarten children aged 4-6 years had developments appropriate to their age. Spearman rank statistical results 0.000 <0.005 level Sig. (2-Tailed) which means that there is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge about growth and development and the development of kindergarten children aged 4-6 years in Curahjati Village, Banyuwangi Regency in 2023. Good mother's knowledge about child growth and development will be able to monitor the development of her child. It is recommended to provide education to mothers about children's growth and development according to their age so that children's development is more controlled Keywords: Knowledge, growth and development Abstrak Pengetahuan merupakan suatu hal yang berasal dari panca indra dan pengalaman oleh akal yang timbul secara spontan.
