Abstract

Mikroba endofit merupakan mikroba yang hidup di dalam jaringan tanaman tanpa membahayakan inangnya. Mikroba endofit menghasilkan beberapa zat yang memiliki aktivitas biologis. Aspergillus salwaensis DTO297C1 merupakan salah satu jamur endofit yang diisolasi dari Chromolaena odorata. Terbukti bahwa 7 dari 18 fraksi etil asetat memiliki aktivitas penghambatan Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Escherichia coli ATCC 8739, dan Candida albicans ATCC 10231. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memurnikan fraksi-5. Pemurnian menggunakan kromatografi kolom dengan silika gel 60 dan n-heksana : etil asetat-metanol 20 % gradien eluen. Didapatkan 400 vial yang digabungkan menjadi 9 subfraksi, 5.1 – 5.9. Subfraksi 5.1 dan 5.6 dianalisis menggunakan Kromatografi Lapis Tipis dengan silika gel 60 F254 sebagai fase diam dan kloroform : metanol (9,5:0,5) sebagai fase gerak. Subfraksi 5.1 dan 5.6 memiliki senyawa aktif yang pada pemindaian UV λ254, positif pada penghilangan noda H2SO4 anisaldehida, dan subfraksi 5.1 positif pada FeCl3. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, Fraksi-5 ekstrak etil asetat Aspergillus salwaensis strain DTO297C1 memiliki beberapa senyawa bioaktif flavonoid, polifenol dan terpenoid/steroid serta telah berhasil dilakukan pemurnian dengan menggunakan kromatografi kolom dan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT)Mikroba endofit merupakan mikroba yang hidup di dalam jaringan tanaman tanpa membahayakan inangnya. Abstract

Guava (Psidium guajava L.) has been widely used by Indonesian people as traditional medicine. Guava leaves have been studied and show various pharmacological activities including antidiarrheal, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antimutagenic, anti-cough, antibacterial, antifungal, antiplaque, suppresses cardiac muscle inotropism, antidiabetic, antihypertensive, hepatoprotective and anticoagulant. In Indonesia, guava leaves have been formulated into several dosage forms. The guava leaves extract, as raw material of traditional medicine, should perform stability during storage period. This study aims to test the physical stability of guava leaves extract, which includes organoleptic, pH, and viscosity at different storage temperature and time susceptibility. Extraction was carried out by maceration method using ethanol 96% as solvent. Extraction is done until a thick extract is obtained. The extract was stored at 8oC (refrigerator temperature), 27oC (room temperature), and 70oC (oven temperature). Physical stability test was performed before storage period and at 1st, 2nd, 3rd week of storage period. Stability test results showed that ethanolic extract of guava leaves was stable at different storage temperatures. The results showed no differences on organoleptic, pH and viscosity test before storage period and at 1st, 2nd, 3rd week of storage period.  Key words: Physical stability, Guava leaves, Ethanolic extract

Abstract

The microsphere is a multi-molecule drug conveyance framework made to accomplish controlled drug conveyance to further develop bioavailability and dependability and target medications to explicit destinations at a given rate. Glutathione as a model for microspheres as dietary supplementation can restore GSH synthesis and lower oxidative stress and oxidant damage in the face of persistent hyperglycemia. The biomedical utilization of glutathione stays restricted because of its moderately short half-life, shaky properties, fast digestion, discharge, and high hydrophilicity. Hence, the motivation behind this study was to get ready GSH utilizing a microsphere with polysorbate 80 and sorbitan monooleate 80, beat skin obstruction capability, and research the properties and delivery profile of GSH-stacked alginate microspheres. It was to do. GSH microspheres were ready by ionotropic gelation technique. The produced microspheres were broken down in vitro for the proficiency of ensnarement (EE%), drug stacking (DL%), molecule size, yield, and medication discharge profile to acquire a streamlined plan. The pre-arranged GSH Microspheres had a high EE% going from (41.50 ± 1.12%) for F1 to (50.36 ± 0.86%) for F2, with little molecule sizes running (2.02 ± 0.09 µm) for F1 to (2.19 ± 0.16 µm) for F2, and drug stacking going from (5.81 ± 0.13%) for F1 to (6.15 ± 0.09%) for F2. The transition profile was tracked down in the scope of 0.018 ± 0.001 µg/cm2/h to 0.030 ± 0.002µg/cm2/h. GSH microspheres were ready by aerosolization utilizing the ionotropic gelation strategy. Abstract

Kegiatan Matching Fund sosialisasi pemberdayaan bunga matahari sebagai upaya dalam memanfaaatkan secara optimal bunga matahari. Bunga matahari memiliki banyak manfaat selain dikonsumsi secara langsung. Program matching fund ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta yaitu anggota Bumdes dalam memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam pengelolaan bunga matahari. Bunga matahari diambil manfaatnya melalui bijinya, yang nantinya akan dibuat atau dikembangkan menjadi minyak biji bunga matahari. Peran aktif anggota bumdes sangat penting dalam proses pelaksanaan sosialisasi pembudidayaan bunga matahari sebagai tindak lanjut pengembangan. Dengan demikian bisa terjadi perubahan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam memanfaatkan bunga matahari.

Abstract

Quercetin, like triterpenoids, decreases blood glucose levels. Quercetin has several limitations including low solubility, low percutaneous permeability, and low bioavailability. The formulation of quercetin preparations in a Nanostructured Lipid Carrier (NLC) system is one solution to increase its solubility. The quercetin NLC system was successfully formulated by the high shear homogenization method at a speed of 6000 rpm. The solid lipid glyceryl monostearate and  sunflower oil play important roles in the formation of NLC. The physicochemical characteristics examined in this study included the particle size, dispersion, viscosity, pH, and entrapment efficiency. The particle size of NLC quercetin ranges from 22.98 ± 0.008 nm to 41.04 ± 0.082 nm, with p-values < 0.05. The dispersion power of quercetin NLC ranges from 5.12 ± 0.11 cm to 7.01 ± 0.28 cm, p values < 0.05. The resulting pH range is 7.3 ± 0.01 to 7.4 ± 0.01, and the resulting viscosity is 223.7 ± 9.8 cps to 492.0 ± 0.0 cps. Entrapment efficiency range of (62.20 ± 0.245)% to (86.17 ± 0.287)% ( p < 0.05). The ratio of solid lipid concentration to liquid lipid concentration in NLC quercetin has a significant effect on particle size, dispersion, and entrapment efficiency.  Keywords: Nanostructured Lipid Carrier, Quercetin, Lipid, Glyceryl Monosterate, Sunflower Oil

Abstract

Salisilamida adalah analgesik turunan salisilat dengan pembentukan ikatan amida antara gugus karboksil asam salisilat dan gugus amina. Salisilamida mempunyai masa kerja yang cepat, memiliki kalarutan yang tinggi dan toksisitas lebih rendah. Salisilamida bersifat asam lemah dengan pK 8,2. Hal ini dikarenakan salisilamida memiliki jumlah molekul terion lebih banyak, dengan banyaknya molekul yang terion membuat salisilamida mudah terhidrolisis dan menjadi tidak stabil, sehingga dilakukan uji stabilitas salisilamida untuk mengetahui pengaruh pH terhadap stabilitas salisilamida. Dengan adanya penelitian ini dapat membantu proses pengembangan obat dan formulasi sediaan salisilamida. Sebelum dilakukan pengujian, diperlukan validasi metode dari analisis yang digunakan yaitu KLT – Densitometri. Validasi yang dilakukan uji spesifisitas, uji linieritas, uji akurasi, dan uji presisi. Hasil validasi uji spesifisitas Rs sebesar 12, uji linieritas r  sebesar 0,9990, uji akurasi  persen perolehan kembali sebesar 98,7 kurang lebih 2,5 dan uji presisi dengan KV rata – rata sebesar 0,32 persen, sehingga dikatakan metode ini dapat digunakan untuk uji stabilitas salisilamida. Uji stabilitas dilakukan dengan melarutkan salisilamida dalam dapar pH basa (7,0; 8,0; 9,0; 10,0; dan 11,0) dengan konsentrasi 0,02 M dan kekuatan ion 0,2 dan diletakkan pada waterbath shaker suhu 40 derajat Celcius. Masing-masing sampel diteliti kadarnya pada 0, 1, 2, 4, dan 6 jam. Sampel diamati dengan menggunakan Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT)-Densitometri. Pengamatan KLT – Densitometri dilakukan pada panjang gelombang 304 nm. Uji stabilitas yang diamati yaitu penetapan kadar salisilamida pada berbagai pH basa, penentuan orde reaksi, dan tetapan laju reaksi (k). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan degradasi salisilamida dalam dapar pH basa mengikuti orde satu. Kemudian salisilamida dalam berbagai pH basa didapatkan nilai tetapan laju reaksi berturut – turut sebesar 2,30.10-2 kurang lebih 1,22.10-2; 3,73.10-2 kurang lebih 1,89.10-2; 2,06.10-2 kurang lebih 0,54.10-2; 3,64.10-2 kurang lebih 0,39.10-2; dan 1,40.10-2 kurang lebih 0,28.10-2 jam-1. Dari hasil analisis statistik ANOVA one way dan Tukey HSD dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,05, diketahui bahwa pada masing – masing pH ditemukan adanya perbedaan bermakna nilai laju reaksi pada pH 8 dan pH 10 dan pada pH 11 nilai laju reaksi paling rendah dibandingkan lainnya. Rendahnya laju reaksi disebabkan efek resonansi dan resistensi serangan nukleofilik oleh ion hidroksida pada pH basa sehingga salisilamida menjadi stabil.

Abstract

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder disease characterized by blood sugar levels that exceed normal limits. The International Diabetes Federation shows that Indonesia is in the 5th position of the country with the most diabetes sufferers. The results of the 2018 Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) show an increase in the number of people with diabetes. Before someone is diagnosed with diabetes, that person may have a condition called prediabetes. Diabetes which is a non-communicable disease can be prevented by lifestyle changes. The prevalence of diabetes sufferers in East Java Province is 2.6% and occupies the 4th position with the highest number of sufferers in Indonesia. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) shows that the population in the city of Surabaya in 2022 will reach 2.9 million people, the size of the population also affects the possibility of the number of diabetics. Therefore, education is needed about prediabetes and efforts to prevent and control diabetes through a healthy lifestyle. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) is implemented to provide solutions to health problems, especially in educating partners in changing lifestyles to become healthier, in order to prevent the development of pre-diabetes.

Abstract

Massage treatment is part of traditional health services which can provide a stimulating and relaxing effect, improve the blood and lymph circulation system and strengthen other body systems, intended to improve health and fitness. Massage treatments generally use massage oil containing essential oils as aromatherapy. The use of essential oils in aromatherapy, especially through massage treatments, must be mixed with carrier oil in the form of vegetable oil such as sunflower seed oil. Pengalangan village is a sunflower agrotourism village with great sunflower potential but the results of sunflower cultivation are still less than optimal and are limited to sunflower seed food. Therefore, the team provides an Eco-preneurship solution with an effort to increase the selling value of the results of processing sunflower seeds in the form of oil to be processed into massage oil. This effort was carried out by providing material using the lecture method and continued with training in making massage oil for PKK cadres and village residents as participants. The end of this activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge by 16.8%, as well as an increase in participants' skills in making massage oil products independently.

Abstract

The implementation of this PKM (Community Service) activity is about how to manage finances well and carefully in the family, which was implemented in September 2023 targeting residents of Pengalangan Gresik village, East Java. Financial management in the household is an absolute thing that must be implemented and carried out, to avoid financial management mistakes in the family such as wasting money in buying things that are not necessary. The management not only from the permanent sources of funds but also the non-fixed sources of funds, as well as how to manage their expenditure. The aim of this community service activity is sharing and providing knowledge regarding money management in the family, especially for Pengalangan village residents. Gresik, East Java.

Abstract

Digital Marketing adalah istilah untuk pemasaran barang atau jasa yang terukur, ditargetkan, serta interaktif yang menggunakan teknologi digital. Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah memudahkan dunia bisnis, termasuk dalam hal keuangan. Produk serta layanan keuangan berbasis digital seperti fintech, semakin diminati oleh masyarakat. Salah satu faktor yang mendorong pertumbuhan industri fintech adalah perkembangan UKM. UKM semakin banyak yang menggunakan layanan digital untuk memudahkan konsumen dalam bertransaksi. Perkembangan usaha kecil menengah (UKM) yang terus bertambah juga menjadi pemicu terhadap berkembangnya industri fintech di Tanah Air. Tujuan penyuluhan ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh strategi penyuluhan 8 formula membangun bisnis di Desa Pengalangan Menganti. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalukan tahapan observasi, penyiapan materi, pembuatan pre-test serta post-test dan tahap evaluasi. Peserta dalam penyuluhan ini berjumlah 22 orang. Dari hasil pnyuluhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkat pengetahuan warga mengenai cara membangun bisnis dengan baik.
