Abstract

YouTube is one of the leading video-based social media platforms with a complex algorithm for recommending content to users. Understanding this algorithm is crucial for content creators to increase visitor numbers and audience engagement. This socialization activity aims to educate beginner content creators on video optimization strategies to enhance discoverability and recommendation by YouTube’s system. The socialization was conducted online via Zoom, utilizing presentations, interactive discussions, and simulations of YouTube Studio features. The results of this activity indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of key factors influencing the YouTube algorithm, such as watch duration, user interactions, and metadata optimization. Some participants who implemented the taught strategies experienced up to a 30% increase in video views within a month. However, challenges remain in maintaining content consistency and utilizing YouTube analytics effectively. Therefore, continuous mentoring is necessary to help participants refine more effective strategies. This socialization is expected to enable content creators to maximize the YouTube algorithm to enhance their channel visibility and growth.

Abstract

Software testing is one of the aspects in software design methodology. The author conducted research by taking a case study on the inventory stock information system in a goods delivery service business. The testing technique for this information system uses the black box testing method, with the Equivalence Partitioning technique. From the testing results, the author found irregularities in the database and conducted a more in-depth analysis of the class diagram. The diversity of software types suggests the importance of flexibility and improvisation during software testing, such as determining the appropriate test cases, selecting the appropriate testing methods, and determining the suitable testing environment. Software testing should also consider the effectiveness of resources, project scheduling and deadlines, user/client requests, the availability of testing infrastructure, and other parameters that may be more complex.

Abstract

Quality health services are an important factor in increasing patient trust in medical facilities and health workers. One of the crucial aspects is accuracy in providing drug recommendations that suit the patient's needs. Drug recommendations are influenced by various criteria, including effectiveness, safety, price, availability, and potential side effects. However, in practice, there is often a gap between the patient's expectations and the reality of the treatment received. This can affect patient satisfaction and perception of health services. To overcome these challenges, a Decision Support (SPK) is needed that is able to provide drug recommendations in a more objective, measurable, and structured manner. This study uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method because of its advantages in processing various complex and diverse criteria. SAW works by giving weight to each attribute, normalizing the data, and then calculating the preference value to determine the best alternative from several available drug options. The results of the study show that the SAW method is able to produce more structured and consistent recommendations than manual determination. In this study, the drug with the highest preference value, which is 92.00, was recommended as the top choice. These findings confirm that SPK and SAW-based approaches can be an effective solution in supporting medical personnel, especially in the selection of external drugs. In addition to improving decision accuracy, this SPK also has the potential to be further developed, for example by integrating into an electronic medical record (EMR) or based on a mobile application, so that its use becomes more practical and accessible. Thus, the implementation of the SAW method in SPK not only provides benefits on the technical aspect, but also contributes to improving the quality of health services as a whole.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terdapat pada Toko MAQIBOOBABY adalah pengolahan transaksi penjualan barang masih manual dengan menggunakan buku besar dalam setiap penbarangatannya, sehingga sering terjadi kesalahankesalahan yang akan menyebabkan kerugian bagi Toko MAQIBOOBABY dan pembuatan laporan kepada pemilik toko masih membutuhkan banyak waktu sehingga tidak efisien. Tujuan merancang suatu sistem informasi transaksi elektronik ini dengan tujuan untuk memudahkan admin dalam memproses pengolahan data yang ada saat ini. Perangkat aplikasi yang telah dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman Java NetBeans 8.0.2 dan penyimpanan data pada database MySQL dapat memberikan kelancaran dalam proses menginput dan penyimpanan data-data serta laporan-laporan yang diberikan kepada Pimpinan toko. Dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem yaitu Waterfall dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan tahapan-tahapan seperti rekayasa sistem, analisis, desain, coding, testing, dan maintenance. Hasil dari penelitian ini menciptakan suatu sistem informasi transaksi elektronik dapat memudahkan pihak toko dalam proses pengolahan data secara baik dan akurat dan pencarian data secara cepat serta proses transaksi elektronik yang lebih efisien.Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi, Transaksi, Elektronik, Java

Abstract

This program aimed to enhance the competencies of elementary school teachers in Depok City in developing interactive digital learning media using the Wordwall application. The activities were carried out in the form of training and direct mentoring, focusing on the creation and implementation of game-based learning media. The implementation methods included demonstration, hands-on practice, and guided assistance. The results of the program indicate that participants were enthusiastic and successfully created simple learning media using Wordwall. Based on observations throughout the activities, the teachers demonstrated improved skills and increased interest in integrating digital technology into the teaching and learning process. This program is expected to serve as an initial step in supporting digital learning transformation in elementary schools.

Abstract

Rapid urbanization in major cities has led to the decreasing availability of green spaces, exacerbating urban challenges such as the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect, high energy consumption in buildings, and air pollution. In response, green architecture innovations like green roofs and vertical farming present opportunities for reducing carbon footprints and improving urban sustainability. This study explores the potential for life-cycle carbon footprint reduction through the integration of green roofs and vertical farming systems in high-rise buildings, focusing on energy savings, environmental impact, and air quality improvements. Using Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, the research evaluates carbon emissions reduction, operational energy savings, and ecosystem benefits from different building scenarios. Simulation models were developed for conventional high-rise buildings and those incorporating green roofs and vertical farming. EnergyPlus, SketchUp, and SimaPro software were used for energy consumption calculations and carbon emissions modeling. The study analyzes various intervention scenarios-baseline (no vegetation), green roof only, vertical farming only, and a combined system-based on tropical climate data from cities like Jakarta, Surabaya, and Kuala Lumpur. Results reveal that the integration of both green technologies significantly reduces cooling demand, lowers CO₂ emissions, and improves urban microclimates by reducing surface temperatures and enhancing air quality. Policy recommendations and guidelines for adopting green construction practices in tropical regions are provided, alongside suggestions for future research on optimizing these technologies, conducting economic modeling, and evaluating multi-building approaches at a district scale.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran dikelas evaluasi belajar bagi kebanyakan siswa adalah hal yang tidak mengenakan, Dikarenakan siswa berhadapan dengan suasana ujian yang tegang dengan lembar soal mereka harus mengerjakan evaluasi belajar dengan berbagai macam perasaan. Kondisi suasana tersebut bisa diubah menjadi hal ujian yang menyenangkan dan menarik bagi siswa, Hal ini bisa jika para guru mau memanfaatkan aplikasi komputer. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi evaluasi belajar bisa dibuat menjadi sebuah ujian yang menyenangkan dengan membuat seperti permainan, memilih gambar, menyusun pola, yang bisa membuat siswa menjadi antusias dalam mengerjakan evaluasi belajarnya. Aplikasi Quiz Creator merupakan aplikasi yang mampu membuat ujian evaluasi belajar menjadi lebih interaktif dan mengasikkan. Penggunaan Quiz Creator dalam pembuatan materi evaluasi tidaklah sulit dan tidak diperlukan harus punya kemampuan khusus pemrograman. Penyuluhan dan workshop yang dilakukan kepada guru Sekolah Dasar diharapkan bisa membuat materi evaluasi belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan, sehingga dapat membuat siswa bergairah dalam menghadapi evaluasi belajar, dikarenakan evaluasi belajar dilaksanakan menggunakan aplikasi yang menyenangkan dan interaktif di kelas.

Abstract

Good and orderly management of student scores in each lesson is the hope of every teacher to make various decisions regarding their students easier. This goal may be realized if teachers have good computer literacy, especially in terms of using Microsoft Excel. However, many of them have still not maximized the use of this program. Based on estimation, it was concluded the teachers at SMA Putra Bangsa Depok had not maximized the use of Microsoft Excel for managing their students' scores. So, the community service team, through this community service, tried to provide education and disseminate knowledge regarding the optimal use of Microsoft Excel program that it could be used as a guide in maximizing of the objectives of implementing each activity which are expected to be achieved. The result provides an increase in teachers’ computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of a Google Earth training program for teachers at SMA Putra Bangsa Depok as part of an effort to develop technological skills in education. The training aimed to assist teachers in integrating technology into their teaching practices in line with Kurikulum Merdeka (Merdeka Curriculum), which emphasizes student-centered learning and the use of digital tools to enhance student engagement and understanding. The program included an introduction to Google Earth features, hands-on training, and an evaluation of the training outcomes. Although the training received positive feedback from the teachers, challenges such as limited time and inadequate equipment were identified. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct follow-up training sessions, provide ongoing support, and form a dedicated team focused on developing technology in education to ensure the optimal and sustainable use of this tool.

Abstract

Pendidikan di era digital menuntut integrasi teknologi sebagai komponen kunci dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru-guru di SMA Putra Bangsa Depok menghadapi tantangan dalam menyesuaikan kurikulum dengan kebutuhan siswa dan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi seperti Google Earth untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Karena itu, pelatihan ini diadakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menggunakan Google Earth dalam rangka mewujudkan pembelajaran yang tidak hanya menarik tetapi juga mendalam. Metode yang terstruktur, mulai dari observasi langsung untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru, wawancara untuk mendapatkan masukan langsung, hingga sesi presentasi, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi, berhasil menunjukkan hasil positif, seperti ditunjukkan dengan respon guru yang merasa lebih siap dan percaya diri dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ini dalam proses belajar-mengajar. Meskipun demikian, program ini masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu untuk mendalami semua fitur Google Earth secara menyeluruh dan kebutuhan akan infrastruktur teknologi yang memadai di sekolah. Untuk menjaga keberlanjutan dan kesuksesan program, pendekatan lanjutan berupa pelatihan tambahan, pendampingan rutin, dan evaluasi teratur masih perlu dilakukan agar penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran tidak hanya efektif tetapi juga sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka yang inklusif dan berorientasi pada hasil pembelajaran yang kompetitif.
