<![CDATA[This research aims to investigate the effect of application guessing game pic-pow strategy towards students’ speaking mastery at the first class of SMA Mathla’ul Anwar Menes. It employs the quantitative research with the characteristics of the true experimental design. It uses achievement test in collecting data involving orally pre and post tests. The findings reveal that application guessing game pic-pow strategy is able to help students to improve their speaking skill mastery. In the pre-test, the mean of experimental class is 38 and the mean of control class is 39, 13 while in the post-test the mean of experimental class is 92,75 and mean of control class is 79, 29. In the post test of t-test, the researcher can conclude that tcount ≥ ttable or 3, 0858 ≥ 1, 672 therefore Ha is accepted and there is a significant effect of application guessing game pic-pow strategy towards students’ speaking mastery.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim to be reached in conducting this study is to develop suitable English materials for the students of the Information System Department at Technology and Information Faculty of Mathlaul Anwar University so that they can study what they need to learn. The development will produce an English textbook (module) that is relevant to the objective of curriculum and the needs of the students. It is expected that lecturers and the students can take advantage of the product of the development. The design of this study is categorized under Research and Development (R&D) with analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the module is developed which is more valid, practical and effective. The analysis of the validity of the module can be seen from the aspect of content and presentation. The future suggestion for other researchers is to develop an English language module specifically for education. Students need a special book that is more relevant to be a reference for using English in the context of teaching. Because English is an international language, English course in the Information System Department is expected to contribute to all aspects of life, especially when the students graduate from university]]>

<![CDATA[The objective of this research is to examine the effectiveness of Speedy Grammar application on students' grammar mastery in simple past tense at the twelfth grade of a vocational school in Banten. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with achievement tests in collecting the data. Achievement tests included pre-test and post-test. This research was conducted at the twelfth grade of a vocational school in Banten. The samples of this research were 40 students that consisted of 20 students of experimental and 20 students of control class. The experimental class used Speedy English Grammar and the control class used English Grammar and Test application. The data were analyzed by using statistical of program SPSS 22. Based on the result of data analysis, the result showed that mean of post-test both experimental and control class different are 76.70 and 70.45 and for the result of t-test obtained sign score 0.000 ? ? = 0.05. The result indicated the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. It is concluded that Speedy English Grammar application was effective in improving students' grammar mastery in simple past test at the twelfth grade of a vocational school in Banten.]]>

<![CDATA[The research explored the correlation between proficiency in grammar and the comprehension of descriptive text within a group of 60 eighth-grade students in MTs Mathlaul Anwar Bakung. between proficiency in grammar and reading comprehension. These results suggest that improving students' grammar proficiency may contribute to better understanding of descriptive text, but other factors should also be considered in order to enhance overall comprehension skills. Additionally, further research is needed to explore the specific factors that may influence reading comprehension of descriptive text in order to develop comprehensive strategies and interventions.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to investigate the utilization of Google form in Statistics course at English education department, teacher training and education faculty, University of Mathla’ul Anwar. The researcher conducted qualitative research with literature study design. The methods used were bibliographical searches and learning descriptions using Google Forms. The source of literature investigated were journal articles, continuous article, books and articles relating with Google Form as learning media. The participants of the research were 6th semester students of English Education Department. So far, Google Forms are more often used for evaluation or assessment of learning, even though it also can be used as learning media to teaching a specific material by attaching videos and graphics to support material explanation. Google forms is cheap and effective learning media because it does not need more quota to access and specific application, it merely has to have a Google account.]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to investigate the effect of using Instagram short video media towards student’s vocabulary mastery at the seventh grade of Babunnajah junior high school Menes-Pandeglang in the academic year 2021-2022. This research used quantitative approach and quasi-experimental method with achievement test in collecting data. Achievement test include pre-test and post-test. Short Instagram videos are used as learning media to help students master vocabulary. Jagobahasacom is the Instagram account used as the video source. The experimental class for this research was seventh grade B, and the control class was seventh grade A. Each class has 20 students, for a total of 40 samples in all. The experimental class's mean score on the pretest was 62.15, while the control class's score was 59.45. Following the acquisition of posttest results, the experimental class had a mean score of 70.65, whereas the control class received a score of 66.3. Hypothesis testing is done by comparing T-table with T-count. The results obtained from hypothesis testing are -1.686 > -3.068, this result indicated that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. As a result, hypotheses test indicated that there is significant effect of using Instagram short video media towards student’s vocabulary mastery at the seventh grade of Babunnajah junior high school Menes-Pandeglang.]]>

<![CDATA[This researcher aims to know the effect of poster media on students’ vocabulary mastery at eighth grade students of MTs Masyariqul Anwar Caringin. This research uses quantitative approach, with pre-test and post-test experimental and control group design. The data collecting technique used is triangulation which consists of pre-test, treatment and post-test. The experimental class for this research was VIII E and control class was VIII G. Each class has 30 students, for a total sample is 60 students. The experimental class mean score on the pre-test was 54,60, while the control class mean score on the pre-test was 51,60. On the other hand the post-test result is, the mean score of experimental class was 72,56 while the mean score of control class was 56,53. Hypothesis calculating was done by using SPSS 22 Version. The result obtained from hypothesis test is 0.00 < 0.05 it means that there is significant effect of using poster media to students’ vocabulary mastery at the eighth grade of MTs Masyariqul Anwar Caringin.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research was to investigate the significant effect of an English grammar application on the students’ grammar mastery in a present perfect tense lesson at the twelfth grade of SMAN 1 Banjarsari. The research approach used a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental method with an achievement test to collect the data. The achievement tests were pre- and post-tests. The population was 216 students, and the sample of this research was 70 students, which consisted of 35 students from the control class and 35 students from the experimental class. The control class used a simpler application, whereas the experimental class used an English grammar application for the treatment. The data was analyzed using the statistical program SPSS 22 version. Based on the data analysis result, it was determined that the different mean values of the post-test in the experimental and control classes were 68.51 and 68.14. The t-test result retrieved a signed score of 0.000 ≤ α = 0.05. The result showed that the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted. This means that there was a significant effect of using the English Grammar application on students’ grammar mastery in the present perfect tense lesson at the twelfth grade of SMAN 1 Banjarsari.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the significant effect of Berlitz Method towards Students' Vocabulary Mastery at the eighth Grade of Junior High School Berdikari Cijaku Lebak Banten in academic year 2023/2024. This research used a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design. This research used two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The sample collecting technique is cluster random sampling. The researcher used class VII A (20 students) as the experimental class and class VII B (20 students) as the control class. The experimental class was taught using the Berlitz Method, while the control group was taught using Talking sticks. In the data collection technique, the researcher gave a pre-test and post-test. In analyzing the data, the researcher used SPSS 25 statistical calculations and post-test results of control and experimental classes to analyze hypothesis testing. Researchers found two-sided significant results = 0.000 < α 0.05. Therefore, the researcher concluded that the use of the Berlitz method had a significant impact on student's vocabulary mastery at SMP Berdikari Cijaku Lebak-Banten.]]>
