Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem area of Tarakan City has a wide variety of flora and fauna where the dominant group is invertebrate fauna such as snails and crabs, one type of crab in the mangrove ecosystem is the Violin Crab (Uca sp). This type  of  research  is  an  exploratory  descriptive  study  with  a  quantitative  and qualitative. Based on the results of the distribution analysis of the Violin Crab (Uca sp) the distribution percentage value was categorized as group except for Uca vocans which was categorized as normal. Station II, the residential area of Lingkas Ujung, Uca demani, Uca tetragonon, Uca chlorophthalmus crassipes, the percentage distribution is categorized in groups. For the results of the abundance of violin crabs (Uca sp) which has a relatively high relative abundance of species at station I, Uca demani 69.41% is categorized as the highest and Uca vocans 0% is categorized as the lowest and lowest. Station II in the Lingkas Ujung Uca residential area with 79.58% categorized as the highest and Uca chlorophthalmus crassipes 9.54% categorized as the lowest. Finally, for the results of the analysis of the relationship between research and Biology learning regarding violin crab research related to the syllabus for high school biology subjects, namely basic competencies 3.2 Analyzing various levels of biodiversity in Indonesia and their threats and conservation and 4.2 Presenting the results of observations of various levels of biodiversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara dengan total sampel sebanyak 66 pengunjung wisatawan pantai ratu intan Tarakan dengan menggunakan simple random sampling dan untuk menentukan sampel menggunakan linier time function. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada kepuasan wisatawan pantai ratu intan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi liner berganda. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perangkat software yaitu Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 23.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa harga berpengaruh secara positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan pantai ratu intan dan fasilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan wisatawan pantai ratu intan. Abstract

The influence of competitive pricing and service quality on the decision to use GrabBike transportation services is an important aspect of consumer behavior and business strategy. Research shows that competitive pricing influences users' choices, with them tending to choose the economical option. On the other hand, service quality, such as safety and convenience, affects users' perception of the user experience. The balance between competitive pricing and good service quality plays a key role in determining whether users will continue to use GrabBike services. The population in this study were all students of the University of Borneo Tarakan The data analysis technique in this study used multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of variable Competitive prices and service quality on decisions to use grabbike transportation services

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of research on cognitive flexibility in the fields of business management and accounting through a bibliometric approach based on data from the Scopus database. Cognitive flexibility is understood as an individual’s ability to shift perspectives and adapt responses to situational dynamics, which is crucial in modern managerial decision-making. The analysis was conducted on 166 documents published between 1989 and 2025. The results show a significant increase in publication volume since 2019, with research articles dominating (98.8%). The journal that most frequently published related articles is the Journal of Business Research, while the most productive author is Septianto, F. The largest contributions come from institutions in the United States, China, and Australia. The subject areas are dominated by Business, Management and Accounting (45.5%), followed by Social Sciences and Psychology. These findings indicate that cognitive flexibility is an increasingly global and interdisciplinary topic, with great potential for further development in the context of strategic management, organizational innovation, and human resource development.

Abstract

Abstract The low interest in leraning among students in science subject can be partially attributed to the  use of conventional teaching models that do not angage students in the learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to take action to addres this issue by implementing a learning model that actively involves students, namely Problem Based Learning (PBL). Through Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model over two cycles, this study aims to enhance the learning interest of students in science subject in Class IX-B at SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan. To assess the implementation of learning and students’ learning interest, instruments such as student activity observation sheets and learning interest questionnaires were utilized. The result of the study indicate that the implementation of the PBL model can increase students’ interest in learning science in Class IX-B at SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan over two learning cycles. Overall, based on the indicators in the reserch instrument, the most significant increase in learning interest was observed in the indicators of interest in the teacher and concentration in learning, while the lowest increase was in the indicator of thoroughness in learning. Observations of student learning activities also showed an increase from the pre-cycle to Cycle I and Cycle I to Cycle II. In Cycle I, 60% of students were active, whereas in Cycle II, 77% of students were active. This indicates an increase in student activeness from Cycle I to Cycle II by 17%. This demonstrates that the implementation of the PBL model is effective in creating an interactive and relevant learning environment, making it a viable alternative strategy for enhancing students’ interest in learning science. Keywords: Student Learning Interest, Student Learning Activities, Science Learning, Problem Based Learning Model   Abstrak Rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dapat disebabkan oleh penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional yang tidak melibatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan tindak lanjut untuk mengatasi rendahnya minat belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa yaitu Problem Based Learning. Melalui penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan MCTaggart dalam dua siklus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas IX-B di SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan. Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan minat belajar siswa maka digunakan indtrumen berupa lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan lembar angket minat belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas IX-B SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan. Setiap indikator minat belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I ke siklus II. Secara keseluruhan berdasarkan indikator dalam instrument penelitian, minat belajar yang mengalami peningkatan paling tinggi, adalah pada indikator tertarik pada guru dan konsentrasi dalam belajar sedangkan indikator dengan peningkatan paling rendah adalah teliti dalam belajar. Hasil obsevasi terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I siswa yang aktif sebanyak 60% sedangkan pada siklus II siswa yang aktif sebanyak 77%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada keaktifan siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 17%. Hal ini menunjukkan penerapan model PBL efektif dalam menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif dan relevan, sehingga dapat diterapkan sebagai strategi alternatif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA. Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pengolahan ikan menjadi nugget sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah dan konsumsi ikan di masyarakat, khususnya di Desa Tanah Kuning. Ikan dikenal sebagai sumber protein hewani yang penting namun seringkali kurang dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Melalui pembuatan nugget ikan, pengolahan ikan dilakukan dengan menjaga nilai gizinya, khususnya kandungan protein tinggi dan lemak rendah yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Metode pengolahan ini melibatkan industri kecil dengan menggunakan daging ikan tanpa tulang sebagai bahan utama, yang diolah dengan bumbu-bumbu dan teknologi modern untuk mempertahankan kualitas dan daya tarik produk. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah produk nugget ikan yang memiliki bentuk, rasa, dan aroma yang khas, serta mampu bertahan lama. Dengan demikian, pengolahan nugget ikan bukan hanya sebagai alternatif konsumsi ikan yang menarik bagi masyarakat, tetapi juga sebagai peluang pengembangan industri kecil yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Education in the digital era increasingly demands teachers to have the ability to utilize technology as a tool in the learning process. Pre-service biology teachers need to understand and master various technologies related to the biology field, such as educational software, online learning platforms, and other digital media. This study aimed to objectively and comprehensively describe the profile of digital competence among biology pre-service teachers. This study utilizes a quantitative descriptive research design. The data collection uses a specially designed questionnaire to measure the digital competence of biology pre-service teachers. The research findings found that the average score of the average level of digital competency among pre-service biology teachers is 3.13, indicating a moderate level. The findings can be the basis for developing training programs and enhancing digital competence for pre-service biology teachers.

Abstract

Tingginya angka kesulitan belajar matematika di tingkat SMP/MTs menuntut penahaman mendalam tentang faktor kognitif yang mendasarinya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kesulitan belajar matematika siswa dengan Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) untuk mengidentifikasi sumber beban kognitif yang menghambat pembelajaran matematika. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria siswa yang menunjukkan kesulitan belajar matematika. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi yang mencakup pengamatan interaksi guru-siswa, keterlibatan siswa, dan respons terhadap materi, serta wawancara mendalam mengenai persepsi kesulitan, strategi pembelajaran, dan motivasi belajar dengan subjek penelitian yang meliputi guru matematika serta tujuh siswa kelas IX B MTs Guppi Majene. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar siswa bersumber dari tiga jenis beban kognitif, yaitu intrinsic cognitive load yang tinggi pada materi geometri dan aljabar, extraneous cognitive load akibat minimnya keterlibatan aktif siswa, serta germane cognitive load yang rendah karena motivasi dan strategi belajar yang tidak memadai.
