Abstract

This study aims to determine the source and distribution of rice farmers' household income in Merembu Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok. This study uses a sample survey method to 35 respondents of farmer households as a sample in the research area. The technique of analyzing the structure of farmer household income uses descriptive statistical analysis through the accounting method (Rasahan, 1988). The analysis of the distribution of farmers' incomes uses three approaches, namely the Gini Analysis (Ratio Gini Coeficient), the Lorenz Curve approach and the World Bank Criteria. The results showed that the average income of lowland rice farmers in Merembu Village, Labuapi District, West Lombok ranged from Rp. 2.025.000 – Rp. 5,872,500. The average level of income outside of farming ranges from Rp. 1,184,618 - Rp. 2,206,430, with various sources of income as Baruh tani with an average income of Rp. 1,184,619, as a construction worker of Rp. 1,600,518, as a sand transporter Rp. 1,252,370 and as a basket trader Rp. 2,206,430. Income distribution analysis from the Gini Coefficient (GC) approach was obtained at 0.198, this means that the distribution of household income of low-income rice farmers in Merembu Village is in the category of mild inequality, this is reinforced by the Lorenz curve approach and the World Bank Criteria approach where 40% of farmers have low incomes. receive 25.97% share of all existing revenues

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not the business development that will be carried out by UD. Memories in the South Ampenan Village of Mataram City when viewed from the investment criteria of Net Present Value (NPV), Pay Back Period (PP) and Profitability Index (IP). The data collection method used in this study is the case method or case study. In this case the case under study is the plan to add one unit of mushroom house (Kumbung) with a capacity of 500 baglogs. To find out the extent to which a business or business will be planned and can provide benefits or benefits, the analysis used is analysis of investment criteria. Based on the calculation of the Net Present Value, it shows that the total present value is Rp. 66,009,488.33, - which is greater than the initial investment of Rp. 12,630,000.00. So it shows a positive (+) net present value of IDR 53,379,488.33. The business development plan by adding one kumbung unit is feasible when viewed from the NPV investment criteria because the NPV results are positive (+). From the results of the payback period (PP) calculation above, it can be stated that cash inflow is needed in year 1 to cover the remaining the initial investment is Rp. 3,279,776.8 then the need for Rp. 3,279,776.8 only describes 38% of cash inflow in year 2 (3,279,776.8 : 8,598,866.0) X 1 year or in other words that cash inflow of IDR 3,279,776.8 in year 2 will be collected within 4 months 17 days. So the initial payback period from the investment plan is shorter than the economic life that has been set, which is 10 years, so that the plan to add 1 unit of kumbung is feasible. Based on the calculation of the profitability index above, it is obtained 5.2, this indicates that the plan to add 1 unit of kumbung is feasible because the PI value is > 1

Abstract

The increasing of household income, in general, will tend to change consumption patterns, especially the consumption patterns for food and non-food. According to Engel, in accordance with the research he conducted, it was stated that when income increases, the proportion for food expenditure will decrease, even though in absolute terms the amount increases. A decrease in the proportion of expenditure on food will be followed by an increase in the proportion of expenditure on non-food. This study aims to determine the pattern of consumption of the people of the city of Mataram in terms of consumption of food and non-food and the implications for the economy of the city of Mataram.  The results was found that the higher the level of family income, the tendency for the proportion of expenditure on food to decrease, followed by an increase in the proportion of expenditure on non-food. Likewise, from the household size as reflected by the number of family members, the greater the number of family members, the higher the proportion of expenditure for food consumption, and on the other hand, the proportion for non-food expenditure decreases. From the results of the research, it was suggested to the Mataram City Government to conduct research related to mapping community consumption needs, especially non-food needs, to anticipate the supply of goods and services needed by the community, so that the government can anticipate community needs through more careful economic planning.

Abstract

Processing raw materials into a product with higher  value added is a positive endeavor, to provide higher benefits for the welfare of society. Seaweed as one of the mainstay commodities in the West Nusa Tenggara region will provide high benefits if it is successfully processed into products with a higher selling value than if it is sold as a ra product. This study aims to determine the  value added  of processed food products made from seaweed, namely seaweed rengginang,  seaweed kripik and seaweed crackers which are processed by the "ARES" Business Group in Karangbaru Village, Mataram City. The research method is descriptive, and value added analysis is based on the Hayami Method. From the calculated of value added , it turns out that the value added of seaweed kripik produces the highest value added, which is Rp. 111,400,- per kilogram of processed seaweed, then the  value added of seaweed crackers is Rp. 98.000, - and the added value of seaweed rengginang  is Rp. 78,050,- Furthermore, it is suggested to the “ARES” Business Group if the demand for seaweed kripik is relatively good, the production of seaweed kripik needs to be increased in capacity in the future, and the “ARES” Business Group to continue to be creative in making products made from seaweed to be processed into superior products, as an effort to increase the  value added of raw materials into products with higher value added

Abstract

The potential of fish in Indonesian waters has two seasons, the first is the fishing season which usually occurs between April and November, the lean season occurs between December and March. During the fishing season, fishermen can get catches that exceed the catch capacity for each time they go sailing. The Mapak Belatung Community is a coastal community where most of the population depends on marine products and aquatic animal cultivation, one of which is fish. This is what finally gave birth to fish smoking activities. Unsold fresh fish are processed into pindang fish by fisherwomen in a simple way and then marketed in traditional markets around Mataram City. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of developing a fish smoking industry in the Mapak Belatung Environment, Sekar Bela District, Mataram City when viewed from the investment criteria of Net Present Value (NPV), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B / C), Gross Benefit Cost Ratio (Gross B / C), Profitability Ratio (PR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Based on the calculation of Net Present Value, it shows that the total NPV is Rp. 5,722,264, this means that the palm oil industry business at the research location is feasible to continue because the NPV result is positive (+). The calculation of Net B/C shows that the result is greater than 1 or 1.75, this means that the benefit obtained is 1.75 times the cost or expenses incurred. Based on the calculation of Gross Benefit Cost Ratio, it has a value greater than 1 (> 1), which is 1.233, meaning that the palm oil industry business at the research location is feasible to run, likewise the calculation result of Profitability ratio has a value greater than 1 (> 1), which is 1.97, meaning that the palm oil industry business at the research location is feasible to run. The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of the palm oil industry at the research location has a value of 17.8 percent or greater than the applicable interest rate

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) activities are the real sector that produces products (goods and services), which will directly drive the economic wheels of society in a region. This sector requires support from the active role of the financial services industry, namely banking services. A study on the role of BPRs in improving MSME activities was carried out in the Bank Indonesia Mataram working area, in West Nusa Tenggara Province, in the form of a literature review of related published data. From the results of the study, the value of credit for MSMEs distributed by the banking industry in the West Nusa Tenggara Province region, until the end of 2022, amounts to IDR. 19.474431 trillion consisting of working capital credit amounting to Rp. 16.548945 trillion and investment credit Rp. 2.925486 trillion . Of all the MSME loans disbursed, Rural Banks on average only distributed 7.36 percent of the MSME loans disbursed. This credit was distributed by 28 BPR units in the West Nusa Tenggara region, consisting of 115 service offices spread throughout the West Nusa Tenggara region. Seeing that BPR's role in channeling MSME credit is still relatively small, this means that BPR must continue to strengthen its position, to increase its role as a microfinance institution that can support micro, small and medium enterprises in the West Nusa Tenggara Province region.

Abstract

Fresh fish has a perishable nature (Perishable food) requires a processing process so that it has a longer shelf life, is easier to distribute, and is easier to consume. Marinating is a processing and preservation technique by boiling or cooking fish in salted conditions for a period of time. certain conditions in a container and then the process of reducing the water content to a certain limit occurs. This research is entitled "Analysis of Value Added (Value Added) Fish Farming Agroindustry in Bintaro Village, Ampenan District, Mataram City which aims to determine the added value produced from fresh tuna after processing into pindang fish. The type of research used was descriptive research with the research location in Bintaro Village, Ampenan District, Mataram City. Added Value Analysis used the Hayami table method (1987). Based on the results of calculations, one production process required an average of 816 fresh tuna fish. kg and produced 489 kg of pindang fish. The average price of pindang fish per kilogram is IDR 37,500, so the average level of income for the pindang fish business is IDR 11,010,000 per production process. Then the added value generated in this research is IDR. 2,113,988, with a value added ratio of 19.2%.

Abstract

Oceanographic parameters are related to the distribution of fish in the waters. The purpose of this study was to analyze the distribution trends of sea surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll-a (CHL) and to determine the spatial-temporal correlation with the catch of yellowfin tuna. This research took place in WPP 573 and 713 between the north and south of the Alas Strait. Remote sensing methods and statistical regression analysis for SST and CHL in 2023 over 12 months. The penetration results of Aqua MODIS in 2023 show the highest fluctuation SST trend in December (30.71°C), the lowest in August (27.3°C). The highest CHL distribution occurred in December (37.81 mg/m3), and the lowest in February (0.66 mg/m3). The results of linear regression analysis between SSTs; CHL; SST and CHL, for yellowfin tuna fishing, obtained a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.421 each; 0,476; 0.623. Conclusions: 1). The relationship between SST and CHL with yellowfin tuna is in the strong category; 2). The fluctuating catch of yellowfin tuna causes the CHL and SST trends to change every month. CHL and SST values were highest in December, but they did not have a major effect on catches.
