Abstract

This community service took place in Simatohir Village, Padangsidimpuan District Angkola Julu, Padangsidimpuan City. The implementation methods used are counseling methods, cultivation technique training, and mentoring. The approach method used is: a) Counseling about the application of SRI technology. b) Make demonstration plots or demonstration plots. c) Use of 2 : 1 legowo planting system using ticks. In the generative phase clearly visible results from the application of SRI are applied to the rice field cropping. There is a distance that facilitates the care of farmers, efficiency in the use of paddy water and the number of productive tillers is 25-40 tillers / clumps and the yield reaches 1337 tons with an area of ​​1000 square meters and this difference is very obvious when farmers do not use SRI , which starts from tillage which is only extracted, unbalanced fertilization, irregular irrigation, perforated plants between 10-20 plants with productive tillers only 15-23 tillers. This will have an impact on harvest yields which only reach 900 kg with an area of​​ 1000 square meters.

Abstract

Kajian penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Pelilinan terhadap sifat fisik-kimia salak sibakkua. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan. Peubah yang diamati adalah  perubahan sifat fisik buah meliputi (tekstur, berat dan kecerahan buah), sifat kimia buah (kadar air buah) serta umur simpan buah. Data primer diperoleh secara langsung dengan metode eksperimen di Laboratorium Kimia Universitas Muhammdiyah Tapanuli Selatan. Data yang diamati antara lain tekstur buah, berat buah, warna buah, kadar air serta umur simpan buah pada suhu kamar. Untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelilinan terhadap sifat fisik-kimia buah salak sidimpuan dilakukan dengan analisis ANOVA yang disertai dengan standart deviasi dan diuji lanjut dengan menggunakna uji BNT taraf 5 %. Adapun yang menjadi luaran penelitian ini adalah Jurnal Ilmiah ber ISSN yang tidak terakreditasi.

Abstract

Rain is a very important factor in the availability of water for planting. Farmers still use the traditional method in determining the planting schedule. The determination is considered less than optimal. This study aims to analyze rainfall on sweet potato production in South Tapanuli Regency based on rainfall data, and determine the relationship between rainfall and the suitability of sweet potato plants. The research method used is survey method and literature review. This type of research is a survey method with a correlation and descriptive approach to see the relationship between rainfall and sweet potatoes which is used with correlation. From this research, the results of correlation and regression analysis of the rainfall variable on the sweet potato productivity variable for the last 10 years obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of South Tapanuli Regency describe a weak positive effect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan tinggi pemotongan dan pemberian pupuk bioboost terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi padi salibu (Oryza sativa L.). Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan petak terbagi (split plot design) dengan 2 faktor yang akan diteliti yaitu: Faktor I peranan tinggi pemotongan (P) dengan 3 taraf yang di teliti yaitu: P1 = 5 cm ,P2= 10 cm, P3 = 15 cm. Faktor II pemberian dosis pupuk bioboost (B) yaitu terdiri dari 3 level yaitu: B0 = kontrol, B1= 25 ml/10L air, B2 = 25 ml/15 L air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan interaksi perlakuan tinggi pemotongan dan pemberian pupuk bioboost penunjukkan pengaruh tidak nyata pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, jumlah malai, jumlah biji, dan berat biji per rumpun

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian beberapa bokashi pupuk kandang dan penggunaan beberapa jarak tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman Kacang Panjang (Vigna sinensis L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor yang diteliti yaitu faktor beberapa bokashi pupuk kandang dan faktor penggunaan beberapa jarak tanam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan pemberian beberapa bokashi pupuk kandang terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang pada umur 4 minggu setelah tanam menunjukan pengaruh yang nyata. Analisa secara statistik kedua perlakuan tidak menunjukan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of storage room temperature and concentration of beeswax emulsions based on the physical-chemical properties of cucumbers (Cucumis sativus L.). The study used two factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with each treatment four levels of treatment; each treatment was given two replications. The treatment at level 1 consisted of storage temperature (control, 25oC, 27oC, 30oC), the second level consisted of emulsion concentration (control, 6%, 12%, 30%). The parameters observed were texture, weight, moisture content, color, and shelf life. The results showed the interaction of storage room temperature and beeswax emulsion concentrations on cucumber texture, weight, water content showed no significant effect. The longest shelf life interaction is 12 days, while the shortest shelf life in six days. Keywords: Storage, Coiling, Cucumber Temperature

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil dari “Pengaruh Pelilinan dan Suhu Penyimpanan terhadap Sifat Fisik-Kimia Tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum mill).” Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di dua tempat yaitu untuk tekhnik budidaya tanaman tomat dilaksanakan di lahan praktek budidaya Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan dan untuk mengananalisis pelilinan dan suhu penyimpanan terhadap tomat dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada April 2017 sampai dengan Juni 2017, dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 2 faktorial dengan masing-masing perlakuan 4 taraf perlakuan, setiap perlakuan diberi 2 kali ulangan. Perlakuan taraf 1 terdiri dari: R0 = kontrol, R1 = 25oC, R2 = 27oC, R3 = 30oC, Perlakuan taraf ke 2 terdiri dari: W0= (Kontrol), W1 = 6%, W2 = 12%, W3 = 30%. Parameter yang diamati adalah Tingkat kematangan (skala warna), Berat (gram), Kadar air (%), Warna, dan Umur simpan (hari). Berdasarkan hasil analisis ragam pada pengamatan tingkat kematangan (skala warna) tomat perlakuan interaksi pelilinan dan suhu penyimpanan memberikan pengaruh yang nyata pada 3 HSP, sedangkan umur simpan 6 HSP, 9 HSP, 12 HSP dan 15 HSP menunjukkan pengaruh yang tidak nyata. Parameter berat tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata untuk umur simpan 3, 6, 9, 12, dan 15 HSP. Pada pengamatan kadar air tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata. Pada pengamatan warna tomat akibat perlakuan pelilinan dan suhu penyimpanan belum mampu mempertahankan warna sampel secara signifikan. Parameter umur simpan pada perlakuan interaksi umur simpan paling lama untuk ulangan I dan II terjadi pada perlakuan W0R2, W1R1, W1R2, W1R3, W2R0, W2R2, W3R0, W3R2, W3R3 (15 hari) sedangkan umur simpan paling pendek pada perlakuan W1R0 (6 hari).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the effect of Kalinitra fertilizer and pruning techniques on the growth and production of watermelons (Citrullus lanatus). The experimental design used in this study was a Randomized Block Design, with two factors, namely the dose of kalinitra fertilizer (without fertilizer, 100ml, 200ml, 300ml) and pruning techniques (no pruning, topping or topping, trimming tertiary / vine or pruning). The results showed that the application of kalinitra fertilizer showed a significant effect on the age of flowering, fruit diameter, fruit weight per sample and fruit weight per plot. Abstract

Research studies conducted to analyze the influence of research on the physics- chemical tangerine. This research was conducted in chemistry labolatory of Muhammadiyah University in South Tapanuli. The observed variables change in physical characteristic of the fruit include (texture, weight, brightness of the fruit), the cemical characteristic (moisture content) and the fruit’s shelf life. primary data obtained directly with experiments in chemical labolatories, The observed data  were texture , weight, clour fruit, and fruit’s shelf life at room temperature .
