Abstract

  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah sukses menghadirkan perubahan positif dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Melalui pelatihan pembuatan bahan ajar cerdas dengan Pictory AI dan tata kelola nilai siswa dengan Microsoft Excel, guru di SMAN 6 Barru kini memiliki kompetensi yang lebih tinggi dalam merancang pembelajaran yang inovatif. Keberhasilan program terlihat dari partisipasi aktif para guru dalam seluruh kegiatan, serta antusiasme mereka dalam mengimplementasikan metode dan bahan ajar yang telah dipelajari. Rekomendasi untuk program berkelanjutan meliputi pendampingan implementasi yang lebih intensif dan perluasan cakupan peserta. Program ini dapat menjadi model inspiratif bagi sekolah lainnya yang juga berupaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.   The community service program has successfully brought about positive changes in the efforts to enhance the quality of education. Through training in creating smart teaching materials using Pictory AI and managing student grades with Microsoft Excel, teachers at SMAN 6 Barru now possess higher competencies in designing innovative learning experiences. The program's success is evident in the active participation of the teachers throughout the activities and their enthusiasm in implementing the methods and teaching materials they have acquired. Recommendations for ongoing programs include more intensive implementation support and broadening the scope of participants. This program can serve as an inspirational model for other schools striving to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

As one of the private schools in Makassar, Elim Christian High School, the assessment process carried out by teachers on students is still done manually or by recording. Reviewing the assessment of students with academic achievements includes assessments in several subjects as well as non-academic achievements in terms of arts, sports and extracurricular activities. This research aims to design a decision support system application that can assist teachers in managing final grades to determine students with academic and non-academic achievements using a web-based application, using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique Method. The research model included is the SDLC model which starts from analysis, design, implementation, testing and evaluation. Analyze student data and teacher grades. The implementation section creates a web-based application that can carry out the process of selecting the best students. Testing uses black box testing which tests all menus, ensuring the output and functionality are appropriate. The data analysis technique entered is quantitative analysis. Where, quantitative analysis in the form of data is obtained by collecting student data and their grades. The findings are in the form of an application that helps teachers provide recommendations for students who excel both academically and non-academicly in the specified assessment categories. By implementing the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique method in implementing the decision support system application, it makes it easier for teachers to determine outstanding students.

Abstract

Currently, the parking management implemented in several public places has not been managed properly, resulting in a buildup of vehicles and it is difficult for many vehicles to find a parking space. The Maspul Jaya boarding house as an example has challenges in managing parking because there are a large number of residents with 60 rooms and a limited number of parking lots, which means residents often have difficulty getting a parking space in the boarding house area. This research aims to design a prototype parking management system using NodeMCU and RFID card technology as a replacement for room number stickers on Maspul Jaya Boarding House residents' vehicles with a multiplatform Android and iOS-based application connected to the network. The data obtained will be processed by the microcontroller and sent to the database server and then displayed in the application. The application testing method used is Blackbox and direct testing of the system hardware. The results of this research are that at the entrance gate, residents can enter through the parking barrier if the driver brings the vehicle close to the infrared proximity sensor, the RFID card is registered, the card status is active and the driver is not detected as being parked. When all conditions are met, the servo as the entrance parking gate will open, and the opposite condition will occur on the side of the exit gate. The maximum reading distance between the object and the sensor is 8 cm and RFID cards can be read at a maximum distance of 3 cm. Apart from that, the results of black box testing on the input-output of this application function well and are free from errors so that monitoring can be carried out via the application on data related to empty parking slots and the history of vehicles that have been parked using both the Android and iOS platforms. With this system, parking management at the Maspul Jaya boarding house will become more organized and efficient.

Abstract

Stress can affect individuals of all ages, from the young to the elderly, leading to a compromised immune system and increased susceptibility to illness. This study addresses this issue by developing an internet of things (IoT) based stress level detection system utilizing fuzzy logic methods. The device measures multiple physiological parameters and processes the data using an ESP32 microcontroller. This allows individuals to monitor and understand their stress levels efficiently and automatically through a liquid crystal display (LCD) display and Android devices. The system integrates various sensors to capture vital signs such as heart rate (HR), respiration rate, and body temperature. These readings are then analyzed using its algorithms to determine the stress level, which is displayed on both the onboard LCD and the connected Android device via an IoT interface. This real-time feedback mechanism empowers users to take proactive measures in stress management. Testing and validation of the device were conducted by comparing its readings with the depression anxiety stress scales (DASS-42) test results. The comparison showed an 80% correlation, demonstrating the device’s accuracy and reliability in detecting stress levels. This innovative approach leverages the advantages of IoT and fuzzy logic to provide a practical and effective solution for stress monitoring and management.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan komputer ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang penerapan media E-Learning berbasis Schoology dalam membuat media pembelajaran Online. Khalayak sasaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah guru-guru SMA Negeri 21 Makassar yang berjumlah 30 orang dan dilaksanakan pada ruang laboratorium komputer SMA Negeri 21 Makassar. Pendampingan dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran online dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi dan latihan yang disertai tanya jawab. Materi yang diberikan berupa pentingnya teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan, langkah-langkah penggunaan schoology mulai dari membuat akun schoology, login ke akun yang telah dibuat, membuat kelas (Course), mengontrol absensi kehadiran siswa, memberikan materi ke siswa, membuat latihan dan tugas sampai melihat hasilnya secara langsung. Hasil pencapaian dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah sekitar 80-90% penggunaan schoology menarik dan bermanfaat bagi para guru serta cocok diterapkan pada siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar sebagai media pembelajaran online. Kata kunci: Pelatihan, Schoology, e-learning, SMA Negeri 21 Makassar.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi jaringan sensor nirkabel (JSN) mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat pada belakangan ini. Perkembangan tersebut juga memicu berkembangnya modul wireless yang digunakan dalam JSN. Modul Xbee dan Modul Wemos merupakan modul wireless yang sering digunakan untuk merancang jaringan sensor nirkabel. Xbee menggunakan standar Zigbee 802.15.4 sedangkan Modul Wemos menggunakan standar WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis kinerja pengiriman data antara Modul Xbee dan Modul Wemos. Perbandingan dilakukan dengan cara menguji Jarak Pengiriman dan delay dalam kondisi LOS (line of sight) dan NLOS (None line of sight). Data input yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah suhu dari minyak goreng yang dipanaskan dan dideteksi dengan menggunakan sensor termokopel yang ditampilkan pada LCD sebagai Output. Dari hasil penelitian, jarak maksimal pengiriman data pada kondisi LOS (line Of Sight) tanpa repeater untuk modul Xbee yaitu 140 meter dengan delay 5 detik sedangkan modul Wemos yaitu 70 meter dengan delay 5 detik. Sedangkan jarak maksimal pada kondisi LOS dengan menggunakan repeater untuk modul Xbee yaitu 280 meter dengan delay 6 detik dan modul Wemos yaitu 140 meter dengan delay 7 detik. Hasil Pengujian Jarak Maksimal pengiriman data pada kondisi NLOS (None line Of Sight) tanpa repeater untuk modul Xbee yaitu 25 meter dengan delay 6 detik sedangkan modul Wemos yaitu 15 meter. Sedangkan jarak maksimal pada kondisi NLOS dengan menggunakan repeater untuk modul Xbee yaitu 50 meter dengan delay 6 detik dan modul Wemos yaitu 30 meter. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai salah satu referensi dalam memilih modul wireless apa yang cocok untuk keperluan yang dibutuhkan dalam membangun jaringan sensor nirkabel.

Abstract

The availability of parking lots is a must for perkatoran, shopping centers (malls), universities and others.  Along with the ability of the public to have vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, it makes parking spaces difficult and takes a long time to get a parking space, this is because there is no service regarding information on the availability of empty parking slots, so there is no marker to know whether the parking lot is fully filled or not.  It is necessary to design a parking monitoring system tool, which aims to provide information on the availability of parking slots. Using the application design method by utilizing several object detection sensors including the Infrared Proximity Sensor and using the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol which functions as a wireless communication protocol. The results of this study show that the system works as expected, that the sensor can detect parking objects that are filled or still empty and the system data communication also works well, namely the sensor sends data to wemos D1, then sent to the MQTT Broker (server) then resumes to wemos D1 and then the data is sent to the message viewer device, namely monitors and LEDs. The LED light as an indicator gives a message, if the LED lights up in green, it means that the parking lot is not filled and if the LED lights up red, it means that the parking slot is filled.

Abstract

To improve the digital skills of teachers in KKG Malabiri, a community service program was held, focusing on the use of Google Form and Canva in creating interactive assessment and learning materials. Through a one-day intensive training, 56 elementary school teachers from Minasatene District, Pangkajene Islands Regency, managed to show a significant increase in their understanding, as evidenced by an increase in the average score from 42.1 to 80.9. This program confirms the effectiveness of hands-on training in equipping teachers with relevant digital skills. Through the community service program, teachers in KKG Malabiri received intensive training in the use of Google Form and Canva, which aims to improve their ability to create interactive assessment and learning media. The training, which involved 56 elementary school teachers from Minasatene District, Pangkajene Islands Regency, managed to significantly improve their understanding, with an increase in the average score from 42.1 to 80.9

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital pengurus dan pendidik Yayasan Ashabul Kahfi Parepare melalui pelatihan penggunaan Google Drive dan ChatGPT. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendidikan masyarakat, pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung, serta difusi ipteks. Peserta diberikan penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya transformasi digital, kemudian dilatih dalam pengelolaan dokumen berbasis cloud dan pemanfaatan AI untuk menyusun materi administrasi. Hasil evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, yang diperkuat dengan uji t-test (p < 0,001). Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan respons positif terhadap materi pelatihan. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas digital yayasan dan memberikan dampak nyata dalam mendukung pengelolaan organisasi yang lebih efisien dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi.
