Abstract

One of the implementations of a decision support system example in the field of education is the determination of exemplary students at the junior high school level. But now the process of determining exemplary students is still done manually with several constraints and tends to take a relatively long time. In response to this, this study builds a website-based decision support system to determine exemplary students using the Weighted Product (WP) method. The results of the study are expected to provide accurate results in the process of selecting exemplary students especially in junior high schools.

Abstract

Keberhasilan layanan website Universitas Tadulako sampai saat ini belum diketahui, karena belum pernah dilakukan pengukuran sejak diimplementasikan. Tingkat keberhasilan layanan website Universitas Tadulako dapat dilihat dari kesesuaian antara persepsi dan harapan pengguna website. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara persepsi aktual dan harapan ideal mahasiswa terhadap kualitas layanan website Universitas Tadulako yang diukur berdasarkan dimensi kualitas WebQual 4.0. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik Analisis Perbedaan (uji beda t) dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan (gap) antara persepsi aktual dan harapan ideal mahasiswa pada masing-masing dimensi kualitas website, di mana nilai persepsi lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan harapan mahasiswa. Gap paling kecil terletak pada dimensi kegunaan (usability) dengan tingkat kesesuaian sebesar 85% yang mengindikasikan bahwa layanan website Universitas Tadulako cukup berhasil pada kegunaan wesbite. Gap paling besar terletak pada dimensi kualitas interaksi layanan dengan tingkat kesesuaian sebesar 73,52% yang mengindikasikan bahwa layanan website Universitas Tadulako yang belum memenuhi harapan ideal mahasiswa, terutama dari kualitas interaksi layanan website. Hasil penelitian dapat menjadi acuan bagi pihak manajemen website untuk mengembangkan website yang lebih baik agar memenuhi harapan pengguna.    The success of Tadulako University website service is still unknown because it has never been measured since it was implemented. The success rate of Tadulako University website service can be seen from the fitness between the perception and expectations of website users. This research was conducted to find out thegap value between student’s actual perception and ideal expectations of Tadulako University website services quality which is measured by WebQual 4.0 dimensions. Data was collected using a questionnaire with simple random sampling technique. The collected data were analyzed using differences analysis and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results showed that there are differences (gap) between student’s actual perception and ideal expectations at each of dimension of website quality, where the perception’s value is smaller than the expectations. The smallest gap lies in the usability dimension with a suitability level of 85% that indicates Tadulako University website services quality quite successful on usability. The biggest gap lies in the service interaction quality dimension with a suitability level of 73.52% that indicates Tadulako University website services quality has not met the student’s ideal expectations especially from service interaction quality. The results of the study can be a reference for the management of the website to develop a better website in order to meet user expectations.

Abstract

Berbagai jenis aplikasi e-learning semakin banyak berkembang saat ini dan yang paling menonjol saat ini adalah Google Classroom. Google Classroom merupakan salah satu platform terbaik untuk meningkatkan alur kerja dosen. Google Classroom kemudian diimplementasikan pada mata kuliah Metode Penelitian Penulisan laporan untuk memfasilitasi dosen dalam memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai alat bantu proses belajar mengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis data menggunakan presentase. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dengan subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa program D3 Jurusan Manajemen Informatika Politeknik Informatika Nasional Makassar angkatan 2017 yang mengambil mata kuliah Metode Penelitian Penulisan Laporan. Mahasiswa menunjukkan tanggapan yang baik terhadap pemanfaatan Google Classroom dalam proses belajar mengajar pada mata kuliah Metode Penelitian Penulisan Laporan dengan tingkat persentase sebesar 79% yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat positif.

Abstract

  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah sukses menghadirkan perubahan positif dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Melalui pelatihan pembuatan bahan ajar cerdas dengan Pictory AI dan tata kelola nilai siswa dengan Microsoft Excel, guru di SMAN 6 Barru kini memiliki kompetensi yang lebih tinggi dalam merancang pembelajaran yang inovatif. Keberhasilan program terlihat dari partisipasi aktif para guru dalam seluruh kegiatan, serta antusiasme mereka dalam mengimplementasikan metode dan bahan ajar yang telah dipelajari. Rekomendasi untuk program berkelanjutan meliputi pendampingan implementasi yang lebih intensif dan perluasan cakupan peserta. Program ini dapat menjadi model inspiratif bagi sekolah lainnya yang juga berupaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.   The community service program has successfully brought about positive changes in the efforts to enhance the quality of education. Through training in creating smart teaching materials using Pictory AI and managing student grades with Microsoft Excel, teachers at SMAN 6 Barru now possess higher competencies in designing innovative learning experiences. The program's success is evident in the active participation of the teachers throughout the activities and their enthusiasm in implementing the methods and teaching materials they have acquired. Recommendations for ongoing programs include more intensive implementation support and broadening the scope of participants. This program can serve as an inspirational model for other schools striving to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Schools must shape students' personalities through learning activities and programs that can make students become educated human beings with noble characters as the nation's next generation. Teachers as educators need to recognize students' character to develop more effective teaching methods. So far, the guidance process by teachers at SD Inpres 12/79 Palattae has been carried out face-to-face, namely by talking directly to students and carried out without knowing the student's character. As a result, the guidance and counseling that is carried out are sometimes ignored by students. Based on these circumstances, this research was then carried out to build an information system that implements the Naïve Bayes method in elementary school students' personality character classification system based on the Hippocrates-Galenus typology to know the personality types possessed by students. With this system, the teacher can assist in knowing the personality types possessed by students so that it makes it easier to build the mindset, attitude, and behavior of students so that they become positive, good-natured, noble-spirited, and responsible individuals.

Abstract

Currently, the parking management implemented in several public places has not been managed properly, resulting in a buildup of vehicles and it is difficult for many vehicles to find a parking space. The Maspul Jaya boarding house as an example has challenges in managing parking because there are a large number of residents with 60 rooms and a limited number of parking lots, which means residents often have difficulty getting a parking space in the boarding house area. This research aims to design a prototype parking management system using NodeMCU and RFID card technology as a replacement for room number stickers on Maspul Jaya Boarding House residents' vehicles with a multiplatform Android and iOS-based application connected to the network. The data obtained will be processed by the microcontroller and sent to the database server and then displayed in the application. The application testing method used is Blackbox and direct testing of the system hardware. The results of this research are that at the entrance gate, residents can enter through the parking barrier if the driver brings the vehicle close to the infrared proximity sensor, the RFID card is registered, the card status is active and the driver is not detected as being parked. When all conditions are met, the servo as the entrance parking gate will open, and the opposite condition will occur on the side of the exit gate. The maximum reading distance between the object and the sensor is 8 cm and RFID cards can be read at a maximum distance of 3 cm. Apart from that, the results of black box testing on the input-output of this application function well and are free from errors so that monitoring can be carried out via the application on data related to empty parking slots and the history of vehicles that have been parked using both the Android and iOS platforms. With this system, parking management at the Maspul Jaya boarding house will become more organized and efficient.

Abstract

Universitas Terbuka (UT) implements Distance Learning and since 2012 launched Ruang Baca Virtual (RBV) application to improve student learning services and provide alternative conveniences for students to utilize teaching materials online and help other universities wish to carry out online learning as an alternative solution to face-to-face replacement lecture services. Usability is one of the key factors for successful technology adoption. During the implementation of RBV, usability testing has never been carried out. The purpose of this study was to determine student perceptions of RBV usability. RBV usability testing was carried out using the questionnaire method using the system usability scale (SUS) instrument. The test results show that a SUS score of 72,66 placing RBV in the “acceptable” range, corresponds to a grade of C and the usability of RBV can be rated as “Good”.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital anggota Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) Malabiri dalam mengembangkan media penilaian dan pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan Google Form dan Canva. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan praktik langsung dalam workshop satu hari yang diikuti oleh 56 guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Minasatene, Kabupaten Pangkajene Kepulauan. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap: persiapan (analisis kebutuhan dan pengembangan modul), pelaksanaan (pelatihan Google Form dan Canva), serta evaluasi (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan pada peserta, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 42,1 menjadi 80,9. Secara khusus, pemahaman Google Form meningkat sebesar 36,8% dan Canva sebesar 40,8%. Setiap peserta berhasil mengembangkan setidaknya satu instrumen penilaian digital dan satu media pembelajaran interaktif yang siap digunakan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan pelatihan praktik langsung efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru sekolah dasar. Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) Malabiri di Kecamatan Minasatene menghadapi tantangan adaptasi pembelajaran digital, dimana 78% guru masih menggunakan metode evaluasi konvensional berbasis kertas, 85% belum pernah menggunakan platform desain digital untuk media pembelajaran, dan 67% membutuhkan bimbingan teknis dalam mengintegrasikan tools digital. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital anggota KKG Malabiri dalam mengembangkan media penilaian dan pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan Google Form dan Canva. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan praktik langsung dalam workshop satu hari yang diikuti oleh 56 guru sekolah dasar. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi menggunakan uji t-test berpasangan untuk membandingkan pre-post test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan (p<0,001), dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 42,1 menjadi 80,9. Pemahaman Google Form meningkat 36,8% dan Canva 40,8%. Setiap peserta berhasil mengembangkan instrumen penilaian digital dan media pembelajaran interaktif. Program ini membuktikan pelatihan praktik langsung efektif meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Zhafran Red Ginger, a small business partner of PT. EBJ, produces healthy ginger-based beverages in Rumbia District, Jeneponto Regency. Currently, their UMKM product faces tough competition from larger companies in the local market. The main issue is its unattractive and outdated packaging design. This research aims to enhance the packaging design using Kansei Engineering methodology, with the hope of attracting more customers and expanding their market presence. The objective is also to support UMKM development in Jeneponto Regency and boost the visibility of local products by improving the marketability of Zhafran Red Ginger's UMKM products.

Abstract

Education for children in the digital era increasingly emphasizes the development of learning solutions, particularly through educational games. These games provide an interactive learning experience and support the motor skills development of elementary school-aged children. The Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) approach is crucial in the development of effective educational games. This research designed “Pet Venture Quest” using the GDLC approach, with the aim of supporting children's motor skill development and measuring its positive impact. The results of this study are expected to provide guidance for educational game developers and education practitioners in maximizing technology to support children's motor skill development through games.
