Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Tingkat Kebugaran Jasmani pada siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu yang terdiri dari 10 sampel Putera dan 18 sampel puteri. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berpatokan pada Tingkat Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia usia 13-15 tahun yang terdiri dari lari 50 meter, gantung angkat tubuh/gantung suiku tekuk, baring duduk, loncat tegak, lari 800/1.000 meter. Hasil tes yang dilakukan di lapangan sebanyak 5 orang dengan persentase 18% tergolong kategori sedang, 18 orang dengan persentase 64% tergolong pada kategori kurang, 5 orang dengan persentase 18% tergolong pada kategori kurang sekali. Teknik analisis data yang telah ditemukan maka skor kebugaran jasmani diperoleh 11,71 dalam persentase 64% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kebugaran jasmani pada siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu berada dalam kategori kurang.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bolavoli siswa SMPN 1 Siak Hulu melalui penerapan metode Drill. Metode ini melibatkan penjelasan teknik dasar, khususnya servis bawah dan passing bawah, yang diikuti dengan praktik berpasangan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 4 pertemuan dengan partisipasi mitra lokal dalam menyediakan fasilitas lapangan bolavoli. Dengan penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang terarah dan berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan, kami telah berhasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan siswa kelas VII. Evaluasi melibatkan observasi, tes praktik, dan umpan balik siswa. Metode Drill terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap teknik dasar bolavoli. Partisipasi aktif mitra lokal memperkuat kelancaran kegiatan pembinaan, menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pendidikan olahraga. Rencana program kelanjutan berupa pertandingan antar kelas diusulkan untuk mempertahankan minat siswa. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi pembelajaran olahraga di tingkat SMP dan menunjukkan potensi pemberdayaan mitra lokal. Implikasi hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat diaplikasikan di sekolah-sekolah serupa, mempromosikan pembinaan keterampilan olahraga sebagai bagian integral dari pendidikan siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan karakter positif pada siswa. Karakter positif itu salah satunya adalah kesantunan berbahasa. Permasalahan karakter ini bukanlah permasalahan yang sepele dan dapat diabaikan begitu saja. Saat ini dapat kita lihat bagaimana orang banyak yang cerdas secara intelektual tetapi tidak cerdas dalam bersikap dan berkomunikasi. Bangsa ini memerlukan anak muda yang cerdas secara kognitif, emosional dan spiritual agar nilai-nilai luhur dari bangsa ini tetap dapat dipertahankan dan bangsa Indonesia tetap dapat bersaing dengan negara-negara luar. Metode dalam Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penyelesaian. Pertama, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman siswa SMPN 1 Tualang terhadap kesantunan linguistik. Kedua, dari empat kriteria kesantunan linguistik yang ada siswa lebih dominan menggunakan penanda ungkapan kesantunan. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh siswa ketika melakukan tuturan imperative banyak yang menggunakan penanda kesantunan tolong dan mohon. Ketiga, orang tua dan guru adalah orang yang selalu berkomunikasi dengan siswa sehingga yang dapat memantau dan memberikan bimbingan secara terus menerus kepada siswa tersebut. Keempat, siswa yang diberikan pemahaman dan pendampingan dapat meningkatkan kesantunan berbahasanya. Kata Kunci : kesantunan linguistik, penyuluhan, siswa ABSTRACT This Community Service activity aims to foster positive character in students. One of the positive characters is politeness in language. This character problem is not a trivial problem and can be ignored. Currently, we can see how many people are intellectually intelligent but not intelligent in their behavior and communication. This nation needs young people who are cognitively, emotionally and spiritually intelligent so that the noble values of this nation can be maintained and the Indonesian nation can continue to compete with foreign countries. The method for Community Service is preparation, implementation and completion. First, there is an increase in the understanding of students at SMPN 1 Tualang regarding linguistic politeness. Second, of the four existing linguistic politeness criteria, students predominantly use markers of politeness expressions. This is caused by many students when making imperative speeches who use the politeness markers please and beg. Third, parents and teachers are people who always communicate with students so that they can monitor and provide continuous guidance to these students. Fourth, students who are given understanding and assistance can improve their language politeness. Keyword : linguistic politeness, counseling, students

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan teknik passing bawah bolavoli murid kelas VII SMP YLPI Pekanbaru. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah murid kelas VII SMP YLPI Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 13 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling dimana sampel yang diambil adalah murid kelas VII SMP YLPI Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 13 orang siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes unjuk kerja passing bawah bolavoli. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah menghitung nilai kemampuan passing bawah bolavoli siswa. Berdasarkan analisa dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan hasil penelitian bahwa hasil survei teknik passing bawah bolavoli murid kelas VII SMP YLPI Pekanbaru menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan teknik  passing bawah bolavoli tergolong pada kategori cukup

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine students' perceptions of learning physical education, sports and health at SMP IT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was a population of 86 students in grades VII - IX, the sampling technique was purposive sampling, namely sampling based on certain considerations, in this study the sample taken was the number of students who were present at the time of the research, namely 48 students, namely 55 .81% of the total population. The research instrument used was a Likert scale. Based on the research results, the conclusion obtained in this research is: students' perceptions of learning Physical Education, Sports and Health at SMP IT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru are included in the score range of 61-80% or in the strong category with a percentage of 72.93%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of volleyball underhand passing of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency. This type of research is quantitative description with survey planning method and data collection technique using multiple choice test instrument. The subjects in this study were 360 class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique , so the number of samples in this study was 69 people. The instrument used was a multiple choice test instrument totaling 10 items. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis which was stated in percentage . Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of volleyball underhand passing of class VII students of SMPN 1 Siak Hulu, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency is in the "Very Low" category of 2.90% (2 students), "Low" 28.99% (20 students), "Medium" 49.28% (34 students), "High" 18.84 (13 students), "Very High" 0 (0). Based on the average, 33.92 levels of knowledge of volleyball underhand passing of class VII students of SMPN 1 Siak Hulu, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency are in the "Medium" category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kesegaran jasmani siswa SMA Negeri 1 Bunut Kecamatan Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Bunut Kecamatan Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan yang berjumlah 18 putra dan 9 putri. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kesegaran jasmani untuk siswa SMA. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah menghitung kategori nilai kesegaran jasmani siswa SMA. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai rata-rata kesegaran jasmani diketahui bahwa Tingkat kesegaran jasmani siswa SMA Negeri 1 Bunut Kecamatan Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan dengan nilai rata-rata akhir yang dicapai siswa putra hanya 12.28 dengan kategori kurang dan untuk siswa puteri hanya 10.22 dengan kategori nilai kurang.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan passing bawah bola voli siswa kelas VII E Unit Pelaksana Teknis SMPN 1 Siak Hulu Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII E Unit Pelaksana Teknis SMPN 1 Siak Hulu Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 35 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel karena pertimbangan tertentu sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa putera kelas 8B Unit Pelaksana Teknis SMPN 1 Siak Hulu Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 19 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes passing bawah bolavoli. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah menghitung nilai kemampuan passing bawah bolavoli siswa. Berdasarkan analisa dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan Tingkat Kemampuan Passing Bawah Bola Voli Siswa Kelas VII E Unit Pelaksana Teknis SMPN 1 Siak Hulu Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 tergolong pada kategori cukup karena nilai rata-rata dari kemapuan passing bawah bola voli siswa adalah 7.84 yang termasuk pada interval 6.64-9.05

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to measure the effect of a holistic approach-based tennis training model on improving Backhand and Forehand stroke skills in junior tennis athletes. The holistic training model used in this study emphasises the integration of technical, mental, and physical aspects simultaneously, in contrast to conventional models that focus more on mechanical repetition of techniques. Materials and Methods. This study used an experimental design with 11 participants who were divided into two groups: an experimental group that participated in training based on a holistic approach and a control group that used a conventional training model. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test tests to measure Backhand and Forehand technique skills. The average pre-test score for Forehand was 15.27, while the post-test increased to 17.18. For Backhand, the pre-test average was 15.45, and the post-test average was 16.73. Statistical analysis was performed with t-test to compare the difference in pre-test and post-test scores. Results. The results showed an increase in Forehand and Backhand scores after the training, but the changes were not statistically significant. Nonetheless, the holistic training model showed a positive impact on skill improvement with a difference (D) for Forehand of 35.00 and for Backhand of 22.00. The variation in results on the Forehand was greater with a post-test standard deviation of 3.488, while the Backhand showed less variation with a post-test standard deviation of 3.133. The inconsistency of these results suggests that despite the improvement in skills, the effectiveness of the holistic training model still requires further testing. Conclusions. The holistic approach-based training model is more effective in improving junior tennis skills compared to conventional methods, especially on Forehand technique. However, to achieve more consistent results, this approach needs to be further customised. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term benefits of this training model and its applicability in other sports.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. This study investigated the efficacy of a novel freestyle swimming training model that systematically integrates traditional Indonesian water games on 50-meter freestyle swimming performance, stroke mechanics, and training enjoyment among youth competitive swimmers. Materials and methods. Twenty-four athletes (14 males, 10 females; age 12-16 years; mean experience 3.4 ± 1.1 years) from the Bangkinang City Swimming Association, Riau, Indonesia participated in this study. A rigorous one-group pretest-posttest experimental design was implemented over an eight-week intervention period (March-May 2023). The training program strategically incorporated five traditional Indonesian water games (Benteng Air, Apung Berlomba, Berenang Bebek, Selam Harta Karun, and Kejar Tangkap Air), each modified to emphasize specific freestyle swimming elements. Comprehensive assessments included 50-meter freestyle time trials, stroke rate, distance per stroke, technical execution ratings, and training enjoyment measures. Results. Statistical analysis demonstrated highly significant improvements in all performance parameters following the intervention. The mean 50-meter freestyle time decreased from 32.46 ± 3.21 seconds pre-intervention to 30.18 ± 2.87 seconds post-intervention (p < 0.001, d = 1.86), representing a 7.02% improvement. Stroke mechanics showed concurrent enhancement, with stroke rate improving by 8.17% (p < 0.001) and distance per stroke increasing by 5.34% (p = 0.003). Technical execution scores improved by 16.57% (p < 0.001). Multiple regression analysis identified three key predictors explaining 78.6% of performance improvement variance: enhanced stroke efficiency (β = 0.47, p < 0.001), training enjoyment (β = 0.31, p = 0.008), and initial technical proficiency (β = -0.25, p = 0.022). Importantly, physiological monitoring confirmed that traditional game activities elicited training stimuli comparable to conventional interval training (mean HR: 162 ± 14 bpm vs. 168 ± 12 bpm, p = 0.075). Conclusions. The integration of culturally relevant traditional games into freestyle swimming training provides a scientifically validated and particularly effective methodology for enhancing swimming performance among youth athletes. This innovative approach simultaneously improves stroke mechanics, physiological conditioning, and technical proficiency while significantly increasing training enjoyment and engagement. The concurrent improvement in typically opposing parameters (stroke rate and distance per stroke) suggests that traditional movement patterns may naturally facilitate the development of efficient propulsive mechanisms. These findings have significant implications for swimming pedagogy, particularly in culturally diverse contexts, offering coaches an evidence-based alternative to conventional training approaches that may enhance both performance outcomes and program adherence.
