Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe an increase in mathematics learning outcomes in the material building of flat-side space using the Missouri Mathematic Project Learning Model in class VIII of SMP Negeri 14 Merangin Academic Year 2018/2019. This research is a classroom action research which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection carried out in SMP N 14 Merangin with the research subjects are all students of class VIII D SMP N 14 Merangin Academic Year 2018/2019, amounting to 28 people . The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of III meetings. Data is collected using observation and evaluation, observations in the form of student activity sheets, for evaluation of learning outcomes tests in the form of essay form test questions. Data analysis techniques use simple statistics. The results of the study show that the Missouri Mathematic Project Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes and the average value of students 68.83 in the first cycle to 88.36 in the second cycle. Increased student mastery learning in the first cycle is 14 students or 50% increased in the second cycle to 26 students or 88.7%. Thus the completeness of student learning outcomes has reached more than ≥ 70.00. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that teachers can be used to add models in learning so as to improve the ability of students in learning. Abstract

This research is motivated by students' low mathematical communication skills. Students have difficulty in solving questions related to mathematical communication. One reason is learning that only uses conventional learning models, so students' creativity and activity are still less visible. The purpose of this study was to find out and describe mathematical communication skills taught by problem based learning learning methods better than those taught with conventional learning models with expository methods. This type of research is a Quantitative Approach with quasi experimental methods. The sample of the study amounted to 67 students, 33 students in the experimental class and 34 students in the control class obtained by the Simple Random Sampling technique. The technique of collecting data through a test of mathematical communication skills in the form of a description sheet (Essay) consisting of 8 questions. The data analysis technique uses the t-test. The results revealed that the results of the average experimental class score were higher than the results of the average score of the mathematical communication skills of the control class students. Thus the problem based learning learning method influences students' mathematical communication skills ( . The conclusion of this study is that mathematical communication skills of students who use problem based learning learning methods are better than students' mathematical communication skills using conventional learning, meaning learning methods of problem based learning provide an influence on mathematical communication skills. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the mathematics learning outcomes of students using a realistic approach is higher than using conventional learning. The research method used is the experimental research method. The population in this study were Grade VII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Merangin, while the sample used in this study was VIIB class as the experimental class and VIID class as the control class. Data collection uses a questionnaire method with a Likert scale to motivate students, while the problem-solving ability with essay questions. The data analysis method for motivation with the t-test, for test analysis is by the t-test, before carrying out the t-test on the similarity of the two averages, the normality test and the homogeneity test first. Then the hypothesis test aims to find out whether the hypothesis is accepted or rejected. Hypothesis testing is done using the z-test. The results of the research data analysis show for learning motivation of class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Merangin in following mathematics learning after using a realistic mathematical approach better than motivation to learn mathematics before using this realistic mathematical approach with an average initial motivation of 2.38 and final motivation of 3.08. Whereas the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Merangin using a realistic mathematical approach were higher than conventional mathematics learning outcomes with an experimental class average of 80.46 and a control class of 57.79. Abstract

This research is based on the understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative model of the power of two type based on problem based learning (pbl) better than conventional learning. This research uses quantitative approach with experiment method. The population in this study is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Merangin which amounted to 90 people consisting of 3 classes. Sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. The selected sample is class IX A as experiment class and class IX C as control class. Technique of data collecting through comprehension test of mathematical concept in the form of essay matter with the number of five items on the subject of kesebangunan. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is t-test, with its calculation assisted by SPSS program. From the analysis of the final test data in the experimental class using the cooperative learning model of the power of two type based on problem based learning, it is obtained on average 81.77 while the control class using conventional learning obtained an average of 67.77. Hypothesis test results obtained t count> ttable or 5.634> 1.671 then H1 accepted and H0 rejected. The conclusion of this research is the understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative model of the power of two type based on problem based learning better than conventional learning on the material kesebangunan class students IX SMP Negeri 11 Merangin lesson year 2017/2018. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce learning devices and LKS based on a realistic, valid and effective approach to realistic mathematics education. This learning tool is expected to be able to improve student learning activities and outcomes. This type of research is development research using a 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely 1) defining, 2) designing (design), 3) developing, and 4) disseminating (disseminate). The contextual mathematics learning tools developed are Student Worksheets (LKS) and Learning Implementation Plans (RPP). Validation is done by experts in mathematics education, basic education and language. The practicality of learning devices is investigated by observing the implementation of learning, filling the practical questionnaire by students, and conducting interviews with students and teachers. To see its effectiveness is done by observing the activities and student learning outcomes. The collected data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning tools of the realistic mathematics education approach (PMR) produced were valid in terms of their constructs and contents for Class VII of Merangin 14 Middle School. Contextual mathematics learning tools can be said to be practical in terms of the implementation of learning and effective on the activities and learning outcomes of students for class VII. Learning tools for realistic mathematics education approaches (PMR), have been tested and implemented. Abstract

Purpose of this study is to describe an increase in mathematics learning outcomes in the three dimensional space material using the Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) Model in class X SMA N 3 Merangin Academic Year 2016/2017. This research is a classroom action research which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection carried out in SMA N 3 Merangin with the research subjects being all class XB SMA N 3 Merangin 2016/2017 Academic Year totaling 28 people. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of III meetings. Data was collected using observation and evaluation, observations in the form of student activity sheets, for evaluation of learning outcomes tests in the form of essay test questions. Data analysis techniques use simple statistics. The results of the study indicate that the Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes and the average value of students 64.63 in the first cycle to 88.01 in the second cycle. Increased student mastery learning in the first cycle is 14 students or 46.7% increased in the second cycle to 26 students or 86.7%. Thus the completeness of student learning outcomes has reached more than ≥ 70.00. Based on the results of this study it is expected that teachers can be used to add models in learning so as to improve the ability of students in learning. Abstract

Along with the development of science and technology that has led to glob-alization, the relevance of the Indonesian Navy Trisila is again tested in encour-aging the formation of excellent human resources (HR) for its soldiers. This study aims to analyze the influence of Military Discipline, Hierarchy and Hon-or as elements in the TNI AL Trisila on the formation of superior human re-sources for Satker "A" Koarmada soldiers. The sample used in this study were all soldiers of Satker "A" Koarmada totalling 70 personnel. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The data was then tested using the multiple linear regression method partially and simultaneously using SPSS 25 for Window Software. The results showed that there was influence of 80,7%Trisila TNI AL as a independence variable towards on the formation of superior human re-sources for Repair and Maintenance Service of 2nd Fleet Command soldiers as a dependence variable which means that the influence given is positive, powerful, and significant.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning discipline in participating in learning such as students arriving late to school, being late in collecting assignments, not paying attention when the teacher explains the subject matter. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the significant influence between learning discipline and mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 17 Merangin which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 41 students. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling where the entire population is used as the research sample. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and tests. The instrument used is in the form of statement items and learning outcomes test items. The analytical technique used to test the hypothesis is Product Moment Correlation. for the significance test using the Z-test, followed by the determinant coefficient formula to state the size of the contribution of the X variable to the Y variable. Then, a simple linear regression test and a regression significance test were carried out. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that Fcount > Ftable or 6,718 > 2.108, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between learning discipline on mathematics learning outcomes for class XI students of SMA Negeri 17 Merangin for the 2020/2021 academic year, with a contribution of 14, 67%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical evidence on these factors are the variables of commisioner independent, committe audit, profitability, leverage, company size, sales growth and tax avoidance. The population of this research is all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2018 to 2020. There were 168 manufacturing companies that are listed from 2018 to 2020. Samples are obtained through purposive sampling method. The sample taken for this research is 70 companies, so that the total data used as the research sample was 210. The analysis method used in this research is multiple regression.This results of this research that profitability and leverage have a significant influence on tax avoidance. Meanwhile, commisioner independent, audit committee, company size, sales growth has no effect on tax avoidance. Profitability has an effect on tax avoidance because if the company has a high profit, the company will try to reduce tax expense by tax avoidance, so that the profit earned by the company can still be maximized. The results of this study are in line with agency theory which states that managers have the hope of being able to increase profits or high company profitability because of the benefits obtained, namely getting compensation from the principal (company owner). The principal does not want the company to do tax avoidance, but the manager wants to do it to keep getting optimal profit so that the manager can get compensation from the principal. Leverage has an effect on tax avoidance because the increasing level of corporate debt will increase the amount of debt from third parties, with an increase in the amount of debt it will increase interest costs and will make the tax expense paid decreases. So that the use of debt by the company can be used for tax savings by obtaining incentives in the form of interest expense which will be a deduction from taxable income. The results of this study are in line with the trade off theory which states that if a company uses debt as its financial funding, it will provide benefits to reduce the company’s tax costs, because according to the company, debt has a fixed burden, namely interest costs. Interest costs are part of the burden that reduces the company’s taxable income (deductible expense) so that using debt will provide a positive relationship with tax avoidance actions taken by the company. Abstract

This research model uses a 4-D model which consists of four stages, namely: the definition stage (Devine), the design stage (Design), the development stage (Develop) and the dissemination stage (Disseminate). LKPD which has been validated by five experts. Validity is seen from the results of the validation sheet, while practicality is seen from the practicality questionnaire sheet of student responses, while the effectiveness of learning outcomes and student learning activities. The results of the analysis at the validation stage showed that the average score of the validation results from the material experts was 4.33, the validation from the linguists was 4.60 and the validation from the media experts was 4.94, so the results of all validations obtained an averageof 4.62 with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality questionnaire analysis show that the practicality of scientific-based worksheets produced is practical with a percentage of 96.70% and the percentage of completeness of classical learning outcomes of 78.6%. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the LKPD developed was valid, practical, and effective
