Abstract

The development of speaking skills is a very important ability to be developed at an early age. This study aims to determine the children's speaking ability through speaking activities using the story telling method in children of group B Raudhatul Athfal Buntul Siri, Kebayakan sub-district, Central Aceh district. The speaking activity uses a varied and interesting story telling method so that it can motivate children's interest. This type of research is a collaborative classroom action research with Kurt Lewin's model. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were children of Raudhatul Athfal Buntul Siri, Kebayakan District, Central Aceh Regency, totaling 21 children. The object of the research is the children's speaking ability through the story telling method. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. The instrument used in the observation is in the form of an assessment sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analytic with quantitative data. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's speaking skills through the story telling method in Raudhatul Athfal Buntul Siri, Kebayakan District, Central Aceh Regency. This is evidenced by the achievement of indicators of the success of children's speaking ability which has reached 80%. The child's speaking ability has increased after the researcher gave the action which was carried out through several stages and processes, namely: 1). The teacher uses story books during story telling activities 2). Children are asked to repeat the story that has been told in a simple way 3). Children are given the opportunity to speak in front of their classmates 4). Teachers always provide motivation so that children become enthusiastic and enthusiastic in participating in speaking activities

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 telah memberikan dampak terhadap seluruh aspek kehidupan termasuk pendidikan pada anak usia dini. Anak usia dini memerlukan bimbingan secara langsung untuk membantu pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya agar siap melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan berikutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru TK IT Cendekia Takengon di masa pandemi covid-19 dan untuk mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan kepada kepala sekolah, wakil kurikulum dan guru TK IT Cendekia Takengon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru adalah menerapkan pembelajaran daring dengan cara mengirimkan materi pelajaran melalui grup whatsapp. Variasi yang kedua adalah menerapkan pembelajaran luring dengan tiga cara, yaitu home visit (kunjungan ke rumah), tatap muka secara shift (bergantian) dan les di salah satu rumah peserta didik. Kendala yang dihadapi pada pembelajaran tersebut adalah adalah kurangnya kerjasama dengan orang tua, sulitnya menentukan media pembelajaran yang tepat, kendala teknis, memakan banyak waktu, adanya pengurangan waktu belajar, pengulangan materi pembelajaran dan keterbatasan fasilitas pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan manfaat bagi guru di Taman Kanak-Kanak agar dapat melakukan pembelajaran yang dapat menstimulasi perkembangan anak secara langsung dengan tetap mempertimbangkan kondisi pandemi seperti ini.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze academic burnout among students at SMP Negeri 6 Takengon and the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in reducing learning saturation. The research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive type. Research subjects consist of students experiencing academic burnout, BK teachers, and homeroom teachers selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Results show that academic burnout is characterized by emotional exhaustion, decreased learning motivation, and apathetic attitude towards learning. Causal factors include high task load, academic pressure, and lack of variation in learning methods. The role of BK teachers is carried out through individual counseling services, group guidance, and provision of learning motivation. Abstract

Social anxiety (social anxiety disorder) is one of the most common mental health problems experienced by adolescents, particularly in educational settings. This condition is characterized by excessive fear of social interactions, concerns about negative evaluation from others, and physical symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, trembling, and sweating. This study aims to: (1) describe the level of students’ social anxiety before and after the implementation of breathing exercises, and (2) examine the effectiveness of group counseling using breathing exercises in reducing students’ social anxiety.This study employed a Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) approach conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were students of SMP Negeri 4 Takengon. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire administered through pre-test, post-test cycle I, and post-test cycle II. The intervention technique used was group counseling with the application of breathing exercises aimed at helping students control their physiological responses to anxiety.The results showed that students’ social anxiety levels before the intervention were in the moderate to high category. After the implementation of the first cycle, the anxiety level decreased to a moderate category. Furthermore, in the second cycle, students’ social anxiety significantly decreased to a low category. This reduction was indicated by the gradual decline in the average anxiety scores across each cycle. In addition, observational results revealed positive behavioral changes, such as increased self-confidence, reduced nervousness when speaking in front of the class, and improved social interaction skills.The findings also demonstrate that group counseling using breathing exercises is effective in reducing students’ social anxiety. This technique helps students achieve relaxation, reduce physical tension, and improve emotional regulation. The group counseling dynamics also provide social support that strengthens behavioral change processes. Therefore, the combination of group counseling and breathing exercises is not only quantitatively effective in reducing anxiety levels but also qualitatively enhances students’ psychological well-being.In conclusion, the implementation of group counseling with breathing exercises is an effective and relevant intervention to help students overcome social anxiety and can be used as an alternative strategy in school guidance and counseling services. Abstract

Kejenuhan belajar (burnout) merupakan kondisi psikologis yang sering dialami oleh siswa akibat tekanan akademik, kurangnya motivasi, serta lingkungan belajar yang tidak mendukung. Kondisi ini dapat berdampak pada menurunnya prestasi belajar, motivasi, dan kesejahteraan mental siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dalam mengatasi kejenuhan belajar pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru BK memiliki peran penting sebagai konselor, fasilitator, motivator, dan mediator dalam membantu siswa mengatasi burnout. Upaya yang dilakukan meliputi layanan konseling individual, konseling kelompok, pemberian motivasi, serta pengembangan program layanan BK yang inovatif. Dengan demikian, peran guru BK sangat strategis dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis dan keberhasilan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Kreativitas sangatlah penting dikembangkan bagi anak usia 5-6tahun, karena kreativitas yang baik akan membantu anak unutk mampu dalam melakukan pemecahan masalah pribadi. kegiatan mencetak penampang merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat mengembangkan kreativitas anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak agar potensi-potensi di dalam dirinya juga berkembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian secara deskriptif kualitatif, yang menggambarkan dan membandingkan suatu data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi dengan teori yang terkait, untuk kemudian disusun dan dianalisa sehingga dapat ditarik sebuah kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel anak usia 5-6 tahun. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling, sebanyak 9 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan mencetak penampang dapat dilakukan untuk mengebangkan kreativitas anak, terlihat dari hasil observasi bahwa dari 9 orang ampel, 8 orang mempunya hasil berkembang sangat baik dan 1 orang mulai berkembang sesuai harapan.
